More info Stephen West, the son of infamous serial killer Rose West, is set to wed his fiancée Emma Bradley this August at the Celtic Manor hotel in Newport. The couple, who recently welcomed their new daughter Eden, have been forging a relationship since Stephen cut ties with his mother, Rose West, who is serving a life sentence and will not meet her granddaughter. Stephen's father, Fred West, was a serial killer responsible for at least 12 murders over two decades, often with the help of Rose, before his death in prison in 1995. Stephen, who grew up in the notorious 'house of horrors' in Gloucester, has previously admitted a chilling similarity to his father, stating: "There's a bit of my dad in me." After nearly three decades behind bars, Rose reportedly abandoned her appeal against her conviction in 2001 and appears resigned to dying in prison. Emma, now a qualified nurse at Gloucester Royal Hospital, has two daughters from a previous relationship. Following news of Rose's deteriorating health and her transfer to a disability-adapted cell in prison "because she can barely walk", Emma revealed that both she and her partner were oblivious to the situation as they had severed ties. (Image: PA) She did, however, acknowledge that she and Stephen, who live together in Abbeymead, Gloucester, watched the recent Netflix series, Fred and Rose West: A British Horror Story. Emma said her fiancé "doesn't want to say anything because his main priority is the little ones." She added: "He is adamant, at this time of his life he's got a young family to protect." Stephen, 51, now a grandfather, has been previously married twice and has a total of eight children. A source recently shed light on Rose's daily life in prison. Speaking to The Sun, they said: "She never really leaves the wing she's held on and is escorted all the time by prison officers if she goes anywhere. Sometimes she sits in the communal areas on her own. (Image: "No-one talks to her because everyone knows who she is and what she did, even if she has changed her name. When I was there, she tried to make friends with the other women and gave them gifts, like vapes, but she was rejected. She enjoys watching nature documentaries on the TV in her cell, particularly those about birds." In an attempt to dissociate from her heinous past, West reportedly spent £36 to legally alter her identity to Jennifer Jones. It's believed she executed the name change by deed poll in December, 2024, confiding to acquaintances that it signified her journey forward. Yet, in HMP New Hall near Wakefield in West Yorkshire, her true identity remains common knowledge. She is claimed to frequently eat tomato soup by herself in her cell for breakfast. She then spends the bulk of her day within her cell, knitting and watching television due to her limited mobility. West is currently detained in a specialised section of New Hall called Rivendell House, where 30 inmates are each provided with an en-suite cell and a laptop. This laptop can be used to order food, and the shared spaces are reportedly "more inviting" than other areas of the prison, as noted in inspection reports. Rose West has granddaughter after paedo son has baby with ex-topless model who opens up on having murderer in family

ROSE West has become a grandmother again - with her son's baby to an ex-glamour model. Stephen West, who grew up in Fred and Rose's house of horrors, has had a daughter with fiancee Emma Bradley. 4 4 Former topless model Emma lives with Stephen, 51, in a home just five miles away from the scene of his parents mass murder at 25 Cromwell St in Gloucester. But Rose West, 71, will never see the baby girl Eden after Stephen cut off all ties with his evil mum. The pair got together despite concerns from family members that Stephen was jailed in 2004 for seven counts of underage sex with a 14-year-old girl. He chillingly admitted: 'There's a bit of my dad in me.' Sources said the pair are planning to tie the knot in August at the posh Celtic Manor hotel in Newport. But one family insider told The Sun: 'None of us support it. "He makes us uncomfortable. 'It's created a rift in the family. "They've got concerns about Stephen's family and where he comes from.' Qualified nurse Emma, who works at Gloucester Royal Hospital, has two daughters from a previous relationship. It is understood she once dated Arsenal legend Paul Merson and singer Dane Bowers. Emma told The Sun the pair had watched the new Netflix documentary ' Fred and Rose West: A British Horror Story '. But the brunette, who modelled for magazines including Nuts and Zoo in her early 20s, added that they were unaware Rose was in ill health. The Sun reported this week how West, who killed 10 young women, was barely able to walk and spent her days in her cell watching nature documentaries. Emma said they 'weren't aware' Rose was in ill health as they do not have contact. She added: 'Stephen doesn't want to say anything because his main priority is the little ones. 'He is adamant, at this time of his life he's got a young family to protect.' She said her older children 'don't know about the family history,' and added: 'They are old enough to be aware but too young to understand.' The pair share a modest three bedroom semi-detached home in Abbeymead, Glos, with four girls aged one to 17. 4 Stephen, who is a grandad, has been married twice before and now has eight children. A source said the former builder is currently out of work and lives on benefits and drives a motability car he gets for one of his daughters who is disabled. A source close to the couple said: 'I think Emma wanted attention that's why she got with him. "She has always been like that." In 2004 Stephen admitted to seven charges of unlawful sex with a 14-year-old more than 20 times. He had even arranged for her to have an abortion during their eight-month affair. He kept a coded diary of their illegal encounters and showered her with presents, including jewellery and a mobile phone so she could contact him from secondary school. Stephen – who cited his severe psychological trauma as a mitigating reason for the twisted relationship – was jailed for nine months and forced to sign the sex offenders register.

Pad at Celtic Manor Resort: Larkin Cen's stunning menu

Set in the airy conservatory at the Manor House at the resort, Pad offers a relaxed atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, and a culinary experience you have got to try if Asian food is your thing – or even its not. We were even lucky enough to get to chat to the chef to find out about more about his concept for the menu and his delight at being back at the Celtic Manor. Starting the evening with a couple of signature cocktails, including a fruity Singapore Sling, we sat is the big bay window of the bar and watched the world go by – which this particular evening meant watching guests gather in black tie and some fantastic gowns for event at the ICC Wales. We decided to go for the Imperial tasing menu option (£48 pp) which was packed with delights including Korean Pork Belly Bites, Roasted Duck Massaman and a Whole Seabass with Soy Dressing and Herb Salad. (Image: Jo Barnes) (Image: Jo Barnes) (Image: Jo Barnes) Kicking off with Shrimp Crackers we knew we were in for a treat – each dish was just bursting with flavour. The tasting menu is designed to share and made for a wonderfully social meal as we dipped in and out of the bowls with our chopsticks (not in any way expertly but we managed). To accompany the food we asked for a bottle of sparkling water and were delighted to be offered a range of options to flavour the water – these included a slice of root ginger or lemon grass among others. The ginger added an extra dimension giving the water just a slight hint of the taste – I may well be trying this at home. We also decided on a bottle of Hutton Ridge Shiraz from South Africa which turned out to be the perfect choice – delicious but not too heavy to drown out any of the delicate flavours coming from each of the dishes. Tasting menu done, it would have been rude not to sample a dessert. The Mochi Selection (£8.50) included Coconut, Passion fruit and Mango, and Strawberry and Cream, was yummy. (Image: Jo Barnes) (Image: Jo Barnes) The Passion Fruit Panna Cotta (£7.50) with Mango lassi was a revelation and beautifully presented. The menu also offers small plates, bao and dumpling options, larger dishes including steak and a selection of Asian curries and wok dishes.
