JPMorgan names firm vet to lead international consumer bank

JPMorgan Chase named veteran banker Mark O'Donovan the next head of its international consumer bank Monday, according to an internal memo seen by Banking Dive. O'Donovan, who will replace Sanoke Viswanathan, will oversee Chase's U.K. arm, its planned launch in Germany, future market expansion and the bank's stake in Brazilian neobank C6. Additionally, he will oversee Nutmeg, JPMorgan's European investment arm. Viswanathan is leaving JPMorgan to become chief executive of financial software firm FactSet in September. He spent 15 years at the bank and led its expansion into the U.K., which since 2021 has garnered more than 2.5 million customers. 'We have a special culture of collaboration and disruptive thinking at JPMorganChase that permeates the organization. Every line of business wants to be the best it can be, and I will carry that spirit with me as I move into my new role,' Viswanathan said of his transition in a LinkedIn post. O'Donovan's career at JPMorgan spans three decades, including his current role as CFO of the commercial and investment bank, according to the memo. He was previously CEO of Chase's home lending business, and before that, CEO of Chase Auto. He will relocate to London and report to Consumer and Community Banking CEO Marianne Lake. O'Donovan was integral in integrating First Republic, too, following JPMorgan's acquisition of the lender in 2023, the bank said. First Republic was one of several banks to fail in early 2023, and was the second largest bank to fail in U.S. history. JPMorgan's co-head of global corporate banking, Bregje de Best, will replace O'Donovan as the CIB's CFO. James Roddy, the other global corporate banking co-head, will move forward as the business' sole head. de Best and Roddy have been with the bank 19 years and 26 years, respectively. Royal Enfield's Flying Flea C6 and S6 Scrambler spotted at Ladakh
Royal Enfield will first launch the Flying Flea C6 in the Indian market. The S6 will be introduced later on. While the C6 has been spotted earlier on the Indian as well as global roads, this is the first time that we get a look at the S6 Scrambler on the roads. The brand has already confirmed that the Flying Flea C6 will be launched in the Q4 of FY2026. Manufacturers test out their vehicles in various climatic conditions to assess their performance, which is why the Flying Flea motorcycles are in Ladakh. The upcoming Flying Flea S6 introduces an electric scrambler within the new vertical. It utilizes the same foundational components as the C6 electric cruiser but will feature distinct mechanical elements. The model will be equipped with upside-down forks, offering 60 per cent more travel compared to the girder forks found on the C6. The motorcycle is fitted with aluminium wire-spoked wheels and dual-purpose tires, along with an enduro-inspired one-piece seat and increased ground clearance. Additionally, the brand has confirmed that the Flying Flea S6 will achieve a faster 0-60 km/h time than the C6. 'Clearly, it's the weakest entry in the canon… It didn't stick the landing for me… I don't know if this album really messes up [if Wayne is top five or top 10] for me… It does weaken Tha Carter series overall… But I don't think it messes up the legacy peg at all.' The conversation turned to Wayne's legacy and Lamarre believes every top 10 rapper should have at least three classic solo offerings, and he thinks Wayne has two with the second and third installments of Tha Carter, but not much else. 'I'm adamant about saying his [albums] discography is not as strong as people think,' he declared. Ultimately, the trio wants to see Wayne get back to the drawing board and lock in with a singular producer like Nas did with Hit-Boy to bring that greatness out of him. Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 Spotted Testing In Ladakh's Rugged Terrain
Royal Enfield is currently in Ladakh testing its upcoming products. The brand recently shared images of prototypes for its upcoming adventure bikes, the Himalayan 750 and the Himalayan Electric (HIM-E). Additionally, the manufacturer's first electric motorcycle, the C6, part of the Flying Flea sub-brand, has been spotted testing in the challenging conditions of Ladakh. It's worth noting that this electric vehicle was previously seen undergoing tests in an urban environment. This is the first time it has been spotted testing in cold climate conditions. The Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 debuted at EICMA and has since been showcased in India on several occasions. Moreover, the motorcycle's test mule has been spotted testing at various times. This test mule provided insight into its functionality. It comes featuring circular LED lights that showcase the brand's mix of classic and contemporary designs. Staying true to its legacy, the motorcycle boasts a slim frame with an aluminum chassis and girder forks, reminiscent of classic models. Although the bike's specifications are not yet revealed, it is anticipated to have a range of about 100 km, as it has been designed for urban settings. To fulfill its intended function, the manufacturer has focused on reducing the bike's weight to under 100 kg. Beyond its visual appeal, the manufacturer has significantly invested in the technology present in the bike. It is being regarded as the most feature-rich motorcycle to come from Royal Enfield's production. It is set to include a round touchscreen display that allows for various functionalities such as voice commands and connectivity. To support these advanced features, the company has integrated Qualcomm's Snapdragon processor. During the launch event, Mario Alvisi, the Chief Growth Officer for Electric Vehicles at Royal Enfield, emphasized that this motorcycle would include the latest and most advanced features.
