Former Good Luck Charlie child star looks unrecognizable in shocking new thirst trap

A former Good Luck Charlie star looked unrecognizable in a shocking new thirst trap... over a decade after his Disney days. Bradley Steven Perry, now 26, was only 12 years old when he starred in the beloved Disney Channel series as Gabe Duncan. And now, 15 years on, he looks so different than he did in the show. He recently left his fans swooning when he shared a slew of shirtless snaps to Instagram. He posted a carousel of images from a recent beachside vacation, which he captioned, 'Turns out sunscreen isn't just for shoulders/neck.' In one of the photos, he stared at the camera in only a pair of white sweatpants, leaving his toned abs on full display. Bradley has certainly grown up a lot since he played the middle Duncan sibling in Good Luck Charlie. He now notably sports a goatee. Before Good Luck Charlie, Bradley landed a slew of small roles in the movies Old Dogs, Opposite Day, and The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard. He also had a guest appearance in the show Without a Trace. But his big break came in 2010 when he was cast as Gabe in Good Luck Charlie alongside Bridgit Mendler, Leigh-Allyn Baker, Mia Talerico, Eric Allan Kramer, and Jason Dolley. It went on for four seasons before coming to an end in 2014. After that concluded, Bradley didn't slow down. He went on to star in Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure, the Disney XD shows Mighty Med, Lab Rats: Elite Force, and Descendants: Wicked World, The Goldberg's spinoff Schooled, and horror comedy Hubie Halloween. In 2022, he launched his own podcast called The Sit and Chat with fellow Disney alum Jake Short, and in 2023, he released his own YouTube cooking series. Over the years he's also made headlines thanks to his love life. He famously dated Sabrina Carpenter in 2014 when she herself was a Disney Channel starlet, long before she was a pop princess. In 2022, he launched his own podcast called The Sit and Chat with fellow Disney alum Jake Short, and in 2023, he released his own YouTube cooking series He reflected on their relationship and how far she had come since then during an episode of his podcast last year. 'I wish her nothing but the best. I don't even have to 'cause she's already got it. I don't think she gives two f**ks,' he joked. 'She wouldn't even know [who I am]. She would go, "Who?"' In 2024, he started dating Natasha Bure, the daughter of Full House alum Candace Cameron Bure. They recently celebrated their one-year anniversary, and in honor of the big milestone, Natasha took to Instagram to share some photos of them cuddling and kissing. 'A year of loving you,' she captioned the tribute.

Former Disney channel star Bridgit Mendler raises $30 million for tech startup

Bridgit Mendler, once known as the cheerful Teddy Duncan on Disney Channel's Good Luck Charlie, has taken a surprising and remarkable leap from television into the world of aerospace. The 31-year-old actress-turned-entrepreneur is now the CEO and co-founder of Northwood Space, a startup aiming to overhaul the way satellite communications are built and accessed. After earning a law degree from Harvard, Mendler stepped far beyond the entertainment sphere to launch Northwood Space, which is based in El Segundo, California. The company's mission? To construct a 'data highway between Earth and space,' as Mendler described it in a recent interview. According to CNBC, the company has just raised $30 million in seed funding, backed by top venture capital firms including Founders Fund and Andreessen Horowitz. Northwood Space's focus is revolutionary: mass production of satellite ground stations. Traditionally, these stations—which are essential for relaying data between Earth and satellites—have been expensive, custom-built, and few in number. Northwood Space intends to disrupt that model by creating standardised ground stations that can be mass-produced. The aim is to bring scalable, affordable, and flexible space infrastructure to governments and businesses that manage satellite constellations. Mendler explained the vision with clarity: they want to build 'factories for ground stations,' which would make this infrastructure more accessible to a wider range of users. The company's first ground station is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2024. The recent $30 million funding round is a major step forward for Northwood. The capital will be used to grow the team, refine the startup's technologies, and begin production and deployment of their ground station networks. The round was led by Founders Fund and Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), with participation from Also Capital, BoxGroup, and Humba Ventures. Despite Mendler's fame, insiders stress that the success of Northwood Space isn't just a product of celebrity spotlight. Her leadership and deep technical interest are said to be driving the company's momentum in a competitive and highly technical field. What might have looked like a novelty venture to some is now being recognised as a serious industry player. Bridgit Mendler's story stands as a bold counter to conventional expectations around celebrities and their careers. It highlights how passion, education, and vision can open doors to new sectors—even space. As Northwood Space continues to grow, its work could redefine the way satellite communications are built and operated, with Mendler at the helm of it all.
