Jeff Brazier opens up on son's 'challenging' diagnosis at just 10 years old Jeff Brazier has candidly opened up about his son Freddie's ADHD diagnosis, recalling how he had found things 'challenging' beforehand Jeff Brazier returned to TV screens in a segment on The One Show on Wednesday (18th June), where he discussed ADHD and met with those who have been diagnosed with the disorder. The TV star, who is a regular on shows such as This Morning, met with families whose children had been diagnosed with ADHD. Broadcaster Nicky Campbell, who was diagnosed with ADHD herself at around 60, also featured in the segment. As Jeff geared up to meet a mum whose daughter had been diagnosed with ADHD, he spoke about his son Freddie's diagnosis, which came at a young age. "My son was diagnosed with ADHD at 10 years old. School was really challenging," the dad-of-two said. "But, his diagnosis helped me understand better that he needed support." "My son was described, compassionately, as a Ferrari engine in the chassis of a Mini," Jeff laughed, as the guest shared a similar story. Jeff, who is also father to Bobby, 22, spoke about Freddie's diagnosis when the father and son duo appeared on Celebrity Race Across the World last year. Speaking about his son on the BBC show, Jeff said: "I couldn't hazard a guess on how Fred's mind works but I know he's going to do something amazing in his lifetime. "We need the pioneers, we need the people that give a completely different opinion. That's what Fred's role is gonna be. And I see it. I've always seen it and I look forward to him realising it, one day it's all gonna click and fall into place." The 20-year-old appeared in a TikTok video where he spoke about his mental health struggles and shared advice for those struggling with epilepsy as he does. "Just coming on to say that seizures - or any illness - shouldn't be made a joke or something to laugh about," he said in the clip. He then revealed: "Me myself, I suffer from serious mental health, and I've got ADHD and bipolar. And it's not nice when people want to belittle you or talk down on you because of it." Glasgow woman caught smuggling cocaine into Barlinnie
Sarah Dempster went to the East End jail on the afternoon of December 29, 2022 to visit William Dempster. During the visit, a prison officer's attention was drawn to the table where they were sitting because the pair were moving suspiciously and looking around the room. Employees monitoring CCTV saw the 37-year-old woman take an item from her clothes and pass it to the inmate. A worker went to the table and the prisoner was taken for a body search. 0.7g of cocaine was found on him, worth £20-50, along with white tablets later identified as Buprenorphine. The visitor was arrested. READ NEXT: Wounded man threw hot chocolate at attacker after being slashed with knife Ms Dempster appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court earlier this week after she pleaded guilty to taking the substances into the prison. Her lawyer explained: "These are quite clearly very serious offences, she accepts that. "She was married to Mr Dempster and he was imprisoned at Barlinnie. "She has Bipolar Disorder and she said her mental health was particularly poor at that time. "Threats were made to her and her husband. She does not remember collecting the packets but she knows it was not a good decision." Sheriff Jonathan Guy replied: "It's a very serious offence. "Taking drugs into prison puts them into the system. The court has to take it seriously. The sentence needs to signal society's disapproval." Ms Dempster was sentenced to one year of supervision and tagged for eight months, forcing her to stay at home between 9am and 6am each day.

The Valley star Kristen Doute has weighed in on her co-star Jax Taylor seeking help for his cocaine addiction, and whether she believes he's a changed man. The 45-year-old confessed last month that he had substance issues, primarily with cocaine, ever since he was in his 20s. In September 2024, Jax checked into an in-patient facility to address his substance abuse and anger issues following his split from ex Brittany Cartwright, 36. After spending 30 days in an in-patient facility, he informed his fans that he was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and PTSD. 'It's been a lot to process and an emotional time for me, however I've come home to my son with a newfound sense of peace. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared for the future but my focus is just trying to be a better version of myself than I was yesterday,' he wrote on Instagram at the time. 'Mental health is a lifelong battle of not letting it control you but rather you learning to control it." In an exclusive interview with Kristen, who was joined by her co-star Nia Sanchez, said that she doesn't believe he got the treatment that he needed. Jax Taylor checked himself into an in-patient facility in September 2024 to address his substance abuse and anger issues following his split from Brittany 'I don't think that it did [help] and I don't think that had anything to do with the facility. 'I think it was what he was willing to give and receive from that journey that he took there, which you'll see play out,' she revealed. 'But no, I don't think he's taken anything seriously enough yet. I'm still hoping.' Bravo fans are now watching Jax's mental health journey play out in new episodes of The Valley. Season two premiered on April 15. The cast is watching scenes unfold for the first time, especially those that they were not part of during filming. Kristen admitted, 'To be honest, I don't think Jax could be worse. And I'm glad that it is being shown exactly the way that it is. It's not being sugar-coated. Because he was really awful, and that's just factual, unfortunately... Like, one-upping himself.' The Vanderpump Rules alum's co-star couldn't agree more. Nia, 35, told 'Yeah, I mean some of the things that he was saying, I was like, "Really? Really?"' Brittany, who shares three-year-old son Cruz with Jax, filed for divorce in Los Angeles in August 2024, citing irreconcilable differences. Meanwhile, their co-stars, Michelle, 36, and Jesse Lally, 44, are also in the midst of divorce after Michelle filed in March 2024 after five years of marriage. Nia, who is married to Daniel Booko, said the way both couples are handling the divorce process is 'very different'. 'There's a lot of just dysfunction in both relationships, and I feel like for both relationships, it's so much better for them to be separate, and I'm normally not the person that says that. 'Like, even when Brittany and Jax first separated I'm like, "If he changes, then maybe there's hope." Because I could see in her heart that she wanted hope and hope for that in the beginning.' Kristen agreed that both couples are 'so much happier separated' and said she is hoping that they can eventually 'get to a place where it's not so hard to be in the same room.' However, when it comes to finalizing their divorces - both of which are still ongoing - the TV personality believes Jax and Brittany's divorce will be finalized first. 'I think Jesse's been more difficult. Jax doesn't have a leg to stand on, in my opinion, even though he's also very difficult,' she insisted. And then she finally told me she was pregnant.' With less than two months away from her due date, Nia said that she is glad she can 'enjoy' her pregnancy, which is a 'breath of fresh air,' after giving birth to her twins, which she said had a lot of 'high-risk moments.' 3 disabled teens missing from Clayton County group home
The Brief Three teens with disabilities, Dreshaun Oglesby, Quentavis Teasley, and David Thompson, have all gone missing from a Clayton County youth group home. The police department has issued a Mattie's Call alert. The teens disappeared at different times on Saturday morning from the home located on Rex Road. Teasley and Thompson were reported missing around 3:15 a.m., while Oglesby was reported missing at 8:45 a.m.; all three have been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia, with Oglesby also having ADHD. Authorities have identified Oglesby as a runaway due to his history, but are seeking public assistance in locating all three teens. Anyone with information on the teens' whereabouts is urged to call 911 or contact the Clayton County Police Department at 770-477-3747. REX, Ga. - Three teens with disabilities have disappeared from the same Clayton County youth group home. Teasley and Thompson were both reported missing at around 3:15 a.m. Thompson is 5-feet-3-inches tall and weighs 125 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes, and was wearing a black shirt, camouflage pants and black slides when he disappeared. He was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia. Teasley is 5-feet-4-inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, and was wearing a sky-blue hoodie, gray sweatpants and black slides. He was also diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia. Oglesby was reported missing at around 8:45 a.m. He is 6-feet-9-inches tall and 115 pounds with black and blonde hair. He was wearing tie-dye purple pants with yellow faces, a blue hoodie and blue Jordan sneakers with white laces when he went missing. He is diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, ADHD and Schizophrenia. So far, officials have only claimed Oglesby as a runaway, stating that he has a history of it. What we don't know Officials have not yet released photos of Teasley or Thompson. Feds sentence 'White-Collar Socipath' to four years for financial crimes
TULSA, Okla. – A former Grand Lake man who used his family members' stolen identities to swindle over $3 million from banks and other financial institutions saw his probation suspended and was sentenced to four years in federal prison Michael Chase Morris, also known as Michael Jeffrey Morris, 63, appeared in U.S. Federal Court in Tulsa on Wednesday for a sentencing hearing to revoke his supervised release from prison for a 2016 conviction. It's his second revocation for financial crimes since 2023. Morris has five fraud-related convictions and seven prior revocations for fraudulent behavior since 1988. Federal prosecutors asked Eagan to sentence Morris to 56 months. Mr. Morris's criminal history and characteristics warrant the stiffest permissible sentence under the law to afford adequate deterrence to criminal conduct and protect the public from further crimes. Michael Morris, Sentencing Memorandum Earlier this month, Morris stipulated to concealing a checking account and a PayPal account. Federal prosecutors dropped the three other violations. According to court documents, Morris violated his probation 'by lying, providing false information, and concealing truthful information from his probation officer in his efforts to thwart her efforts to provide meaningful supervision.' Morris 'wasted no time engaging in additional transactions prohibited by his terms of release, and then willfully tried to hide his tracks when confronted by his supervising probation officer,' the documents state. In June 2016, Morris was sentenced to six and a half years for financial wrongdoing and five years of supervised release and ordered to pay $1,641,915.71 in restitution. It was during this sentencing hearing that Morris was called a 'white collar sociopath' by a federal prosecutor. Testimony during his 2016 federal sentencing suggested Morris was not upfront about a charity he set up in his deceased 16-year-old son's name to raise money for sudden cardiac arrest. Click here to read a timeline of Morris' financial convictions. On Wednesday, Judge Claire V. Eagan followed up with a four-year prison sentence with five years of supervised release. Eagan also ordered Morris to adhere to computer restrictions and obtain a mental health evaluation, according to court records filed on Wednesday. Court records filed by Morris show he has previously been diagnosed with several mental health issues, including Impulse Control Disorder, Atypical Anxiety Disorder, Narcissistic Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and depression. 'The Court would be hard-pressed to find a similarly situated defendant who has demonstrated a more recidivistic pattern and lifestyle of fraudulent behavior coupled with a clear unwillingness to comply with the Court's orders,' court documents show.
