Engineering a state of clean: The hidden journey of air inside the 'world's most powerful' cordless stick vacuum from Samsung

When we use a vacuum cleaner, we normally notice what our senses can easily detect — like the whirring sound, spinning brush, and disappearing dust. But what really makes it all happen is a process you can't see: Air moving through the vacuum's complex internal system, carrying everything from fine dust to stubborn debris. This invisible air path determines how strong, stable, and effective a vacuum's suction truly is. With the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra, Samsung spent six years refining that journey. Every twist and turn, from intake to motor, was reengineered to allow air to move without interruption. The result? The world's most powerful* cordless stick vacuum cleaner yet*. When air enters the vacuum, it's burdened with everything from pet hair to large and fine dust* particles. It shoots through a long internal air path and encounters the multi-cyclone system. Here, air spins at incredible speed. The significant centrifugal force generated by the rotation flings dust outward, separating particles so that clean air can continue forward. It's efficient, but intense. In actual fact, the resistance created by this spinning can slow down airflow and weaken suction. To address this, Samsung introduced a multi-cyclone structure with 12 cyclones and 33 air inlets, which are increases of 33% and 22%*, respectively, compared to the previous generation. With more entry points and more evenly distributed pathways, the airflow stays balanced and powerful, with less resistance. This allows air to separate dust efficiently while still flowing smoothly. After passing through the multi-cyclone system, the air now reaches the motor. And here, it must spin again at up to 148,000 revolutions per minute. Inside the motor, air flows through a component called the impeller, which rotates at high speed, and then passes through the motor. The impeller — a component resembling the blades of a jet engine — makes air travel from the centre outwards to create a vacuum. If air that was moving outward takes a wrong path and enters the vacuum, it disrupts the vacuum state (of course!), making it difficult to maintain suction power. This is why it is crucial to have an effective air path surrounding these blades that ensures air can find its way smoothly. To enhance this, Samsung upgraded the diffuser structure inside the motor from one row to two rows*, giving air more exit routes to maintain vacuum pressure and suction consistency. By clearing the path for air to escape more easily, suction stays stronger. From the shape of a cyclone to the structure of a diffuser blade, every element of the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra was optimised with one goal: let air do its job without obstruction. But airflow alone isn't the whole story. Samsung developed specialised brushes* for pet hair and embedded carpet dust, a battery system that supports strong output, and AI Cleaning Mode 2.0*, which automatically adjusts suction power according to your cleaning environment*. There's also the All-in-one Clean Station, which brings convenience by automatically emptying the dustbin and serving as a sleek charging dock. It's a comprehensive cleaning experience, built around the invisible motion of air. With this device, Samsung didn't just create a vacuum. It added details to the path air takes, and in doing so, pushed suction performance to a whole new level. To learn more about the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra, visit *1 Based on testing by SLG Prüf- und Zertifizierungs GmbH, in accordance with the IEC 62885-4 Cl.5.8 standard. Measured at the inlet of the non-motorized tool when the dustbin is empty, using Jet Mode and a large capacity battery that is fully charged. Lasts up to 1 min.*2 Based on testing by SLG Prüf- und Zertifizierungs GmbH, in accordance with the IEC 62885-4 Cl.5.8 standard, using a handheld type vacuum cleaner (with no brush) in Jet mode. The results were compared to cordless stick vacuum models available on the market with a stated suction power within 30% of the actual suction power of the Samsung model tested by SLG. Based on sales data between January 2024 and December 2024 as compiled by an independent market research institute.*3 Refers to dust particles in the size range of 0.5 to 4.2µm.*4 Compared to Samsung VS9000. VS9000 has 9 cyclones with 27 air inlets, while Bespoke AI Jet Ultra has 12 cyclones with 33 air inlets.*5 Compared to previous Samsung Bespoke Jet series.*6 The brushes and accessories provided will differ to suit the components of each model.*7 The updated functions of AI Cleaning Mode 2.0 can be activated after registering the stick vacuum cleaner on the SmartThings App. The operation of AI Cleaning Mode 2.0 may be limited in certain environments, such as when the All-in-one Clean Station is unplugged or Wi-Fi connection is unstable or the Bluetooth connection status between the stick vacuum cleaner and the All-in-one Clean Station is unstable. If AI Cleaning mode 2.0 does not work frequently, please move the All-in-one Clean Station to a space without obstacles nearby. To enable continuous function updates, users should keep the Wi-Fi in the house on at all times.*8 The ability to identify different cleaning environments and the time it takes to change the settings can be affected by environmental conditions.

Samsung's AI Home in Dubai: A Glimpse into Smarter Living

Samsung Gulf Electronics just dropped a game-changer in Dubai with its AI Home showcase, turning a villa into a futuristic playground of connected tech. Forget boring product demos—this event lets guests live the experience. Unlike conventional product launches confined to retail displays, Samsung's event created a fully immersive environment where guests experienced its connected home ecosystem in real-world scenarios. Eight lifestyle zones replicated familiar spaces like living rooms, bedrooms, and kitchens, showing how AI-powered devices interact and enhance daily life. Neo QLED TVs with near-8K visuals, a Frame Pro TV that doubles as a gallery-worthy art piece, and a Bespoke AI fridge that knows your grocery habits. The Bespoke AI Jet Ultra vacuum? It adjusts suction on its own, while the Odyssey 3D monitor takes gaming to another dimension. All these devices sync seamlessly via Samsung's SmartThings platform, which even plays nice with Amazon Ring and smart curtains. Privacy? Covered. Samsung's SmartThings uses top-tier NOx military-grade security and blockchain to keep your data locked down, automatically isolating any device that's compromised. At the event, Gulf Insider spoke with Guran Nakiboglu, Head of the Home Appliances Division; Shafi Alam, Head of the Direct-to-Consumer Business & Corporate Marketing Division; and Mohamad Sharif Oubaid, Director and Head of the Visual Display Division at Samsung Gulf Electronics. All three Samsung execs said that AI's just getting started. Soon, your home will adapt to you—tweaking lights, temps, and even TV content based on your vibe. The team pointed out that within the next few years, AI will become essential for connected living, as devices increasingly adapt to user preferences and behaviours. AI-powered personalisation will make technology more intuitive and responsive, whether it's managing appliances, adjusting lighting and temperature, or generating on-screen content. They highlighted how innovations like Samsung's Frame TV, which displays curated art when not in use, and the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra vacuum, which automatically adjusts suction based on floor types, are already paving the way for smarter, more adaptable homes. However, they noted that many consumers aren't yet fully leveraging the capabilities of their smart devices, and events like the AI Home showcase help bridge this gap.
