Ree Drummond's Grandma Moves for Sofia Are Pure Joy to Watch!
You'd never know Ree Drummond is a first-time grandmother based on the way she is absolutely excelling at grandbaby duties! Ree has been outspoken about the uncertainties regarding becoming a grandparent since her eldest daughter Alex announced her pregnancy, but it's clear that The Pioneer Woman (endearingly called ReeRee in her new role) is already beyond loved by five-month-old granddaughter Sofia. Keep reading to see the adorable (and hilarious) video of Ree getting silly to entertain Sofia on their walk! In a new Instagram post, Ree can be seen dancing and skipping down the road while walking and pushing Sofia in her stroller as the song 'We're Off to See The Wizard' plays in the background, doing everything she can to keep the baby girl happy. 'Entertaining Sofia during her fussy pre-bedtime walk last night,' Ree captioned her video. 'We parents and grandparents do what must be done.' She also asked viewers to ignore the interruption of the family Basset Hound dogs, as they had to follow Ree and Sofia and investigate all of the smells along the ranch road (Alex's golden retriever George could also be seen joining the fun!) Later on, Alex shared her own point-of-view with a video shared to her Instagram stories (which you can see in this The Pioneer Woman blog post). The close-up of Sofia reveals that Ree's attempts were fruitful, as the baby sweetly laughed at her antics. 'ReeRee is so funny!!,' Alex captioned the video, where Ree can also be seen using a baseball cap to tap Sofia's tiny feet. 'She didn't want to hold the hat, she wanted me to pat her feet with the hat,' Ree chimed while re-sharing Alex's post. Ree is always sure to share moments captured when she visits with Sofia, and most recently, the family was all together to celebrate the wedding of Paige Drummond at the ranch. In her The Pioneer Woman recap of Paige marrying David Andersen, Ree included an adorable snap of Sofia with her parents outside on the sprawling Drummond ranch grounds. 'Alex and Mauricio got married in this spot four years ago,' she captioned the photo. 'And look at precious Sofia.' And, in an Instagram post where Ree shared some of her favorite pictures from the day, Sofia of course made multiple appearances. These special moments included Paige holding Sofia and kissing her on the cheek, and Sofia being carried down the aisle by her dad, Mauricio Scott, during the ceremony. Basset Hound Basset Hounds are stereotyped to be calm and content, and as long as they are able to exercise regularly, they're typically lazy around the house. Older pet parents who don't want to be run off their feet will benefit from this dog's chilled-out attitude, as they aren't likely to cause chaos. 4. Shih Tzu Animago said: "Although they have a bit of a reputation as a 'yappy' breed, with proper training and care they can be a good example when it comes to calm dogs. Update on Stray Basset Hound Who Gave Birth in a Shop Has People in Tears
All it takes is one person — one single person — to change an animal's world. Just take the incredible change in Bentley, a stray Basset Hound who's found a new lease on life. The dog has truly found her forever home. And now an update on the dog has people online in tears. The transformation is truly incredible. One day the Basset Hound was on the street and the next it's like she's a completely different dog. Shared by Caitie's Foster Farm, the turnaround has been truly incredible. When Bentley was first found, she was in rough shape. The dog looked like she hadn't been cared for in so long. But that would quickly change once she arrived in Caitie's care. Flash forward to today, not only does the Basset Hound look better, she seems so much happier too.'From a stray giving birth in a shop…to adopted and so loved,' the video's text overlay reads. Bentley even recently got to reunite with her foster mama! 'Bringing joy to your social media feed today with a mama Bentley update. There's nothing I love sharing more than their transformations,' the video's caption reads. People in the comments section were so happy to see the transformation. 'She is thriving,' wrote one person. 'What a sweetheart,' someone else agreed. 'Basset Hounds are the best,' praised one commenter. 'Awwwwww I love this,' gushed another person. Bentley was first found a year ago, when she was all by her lonesome with her puppies. She'd been found on the streets and brought into a shop by the workers. They gave her a place for her and her baby to stay and then called Caitie to come to the rescue. The family was covered in fleas when she found them. But a quick bath seemed to help take care of the pests. Things have only gotten better for Bentley and her babies. We can't wait to see what the future holds for them!
