After securing pole position in qualifying, Gunther maintained his lead throughout the race to clinch his first victory of the season. However, it was his teammate Jean-Eric Vergne who surprised many with a remarkable performance. Starting 10th on the grid, Vergne fought his way up the field to finish second, securing a historic 1-2 finish for DS Penske—their first ever. NEOM McLaren's Taylor Barnard bounced back to form following a quiet spell. Not only did he set the fastest lap of the race, but he also secured the final spot on the podium with a strong third-place finish. Shanghai E-Prix Round 10 results This marks DS Penske's first-ever 1-2 finish in Formula E, and Maximilian Gunther's first win of the season. While Gunther started from pole, Taylor Barnard had lined up second on the grid. However, Gunther had built a 30-second lead over Rowland, enough to secure victory on Lap 26. Despite starting sixth, Rowland finished fifth. Jean-Eric Vergne wasn't the only driver to make a big leap. CUPRA Kiro's Dan Ticktum impressed by climbing from the back of the grid to finish just shy of the podium in fourth place. Behind him were the two Nissan drivers: Rowland in fifth and Norman Nato in sixth. NEOM McLaren's Sam Bird secured seventh, while Mahindra Racing's Nyck de Vries came home in eighth. Envision Racing's Sebastien Buemi and Robin Frijns rounded out the top ten. Tag Heuer Porsche's Antonio Felix da Costa, who had topped the first free practice session on Friday, couldn't carry that form into race day. After qualifying 17th, he managed only a 13th-place finish in the final race. Mahindra Racing returns to spotlight as Nyck de Vries secures second-place podium in Monaco

Mahindra Racing is back in form after two years, and the results are visible on the podium. They are now third in the Teams' World Championship with 91 points. Nyck de Vries of Mahindra Racing secured second place on the podium at the Monaco E-Prix Round 6, while his teammate Edoardo Mortara contributed to the team's success in a big way by finishing fourth. This is De Vries' first podium in Formula E after three years, and Mahindra's first podium since Lucas Di Grassi won at the Mexico E-Prix in 2023, when he was racing for the team before joining Lola Yamaha ABT. He further added, 'It's very nice to be on this journey together, we've come from far last year and we've constantly made little steps. It's nice to give them this reward because they really deserve it. I consider it an advantage being at home, having my friends here watching me, and it's nice to have them here to see what we accomplished today.' Taking to Instagram, Nyck de Vries shared after his Round 6 result, 'P2 in MONACO!! Thank you team.' After Round 7, he wrote in the following post, 'Front row start and P5 on Sunday. What a weekend. Oliver Rowland dominated the Monaco E-Prix weekend, winning Saturday's race and securing pole before finishing second on Sunday. After starting P2 in Sunday's race, he took the lead before halftime, maximized his Attack Mode boosts, and executed crucial late overtakes to seal his third victory during this season. Meanwhile, teammate Norman Nato progressed from 18th to 14th, showing a steady pace in challenging conditions. These results strengthened Rowland's championship position and Nissan's standing in the teams' battle. Earlier in the weekend, Rowland had excelled in wet conditions, earning his first pole of the season and finishing second in a chaotic race. Despite briefly losing a position, he strategically used Attack Mode to defend his podium spot, extending his Drivers' Championship lead to 48 points. NATO also made gains in his home race, climbing from 15th to 13th. Nissan retained second in the Teams' Championship and leads the Manufacturers' standings heading into their home event, the Tokyo E-Prix on May 17-18.
