Mahindra Racing has completely overhauled their powertrain in a ground-up redesign. Talking about his big achievement after taking second place in Monaco Round 6, Nyck de Vries said, 'It's been an incredible day for us as a team, obviously I can't thank them enough. They executed a great race during the Pit Boost, and chose the right moments to go for it and take the Attack Mode so honestly a big thanks to them.'

It's nice to give them this reward because they really deserve it. I consider it an advantage being at home, having my friends here watching me, and it's nice to have them here to see what we accomplished today.'
Taking to Instagram, Nyck de Vries shared after his Round 6 result, 'P2 in MONACO!! Thank you team.' After Round 7, he wrote in the following post, 'Front row start and P5 on Sunday. What a weekend. Merci Monaco!'

‘Rafael down again' - Pakistan hockey captain Ammad Butt ridicules India after FIH Nations Cup semifinal win over France

Pakistan men's hockey team captain Ammad Butt embroiled himself into a controversy after he ridiculed India with a cryptic Instagram post following their victory over France in the FIH Nations Cup semifinal. Ranked 15th in the world, Pakistan edged past France in a thrilling 3-2 penalty shootout win to book a place in the final. However, the Men in Green were humiliated by New Zealand in the final with the Black Sticks winning 6-2 at the National Hockey Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. But what truly set the internet abuzz was the Instagram story of Butt. In the story, which had a black screen, Butt wrote 'Rafael down again' which many linked as a mockery towards India after in connection to the recent India-Pakistan military conflict. The 'Rafael' connection came from the French-made Rafael fighter jets which were used in the military response named as Operation Sindoor, in retaliation to the Pahalgam terror attacks on April 22 that claimed 26 innocent lives in the picturesque southern Kashmir. Although the Instagram story was deleted shortly afterwards sensing backlash, it was too late by then as screenshots of the same went viral on social media.

Arun Bathula: From frustrated commuter to iconic ‘Hyderabad Road Warrior'

HYDERABAD: Stuck in the grind of a chaotic 22-km daily commute, a young professional, Arun Bathula, found himself locked in a cycle of road rage and arguing endlessly with reckless drivers. But a simple suggestion from his wife sparked an extraordinary transformation. From frustrated commuter to the iconic 'Hyderabad Road Warrior', Arun traded arguments for education, donning a reflective jacket and wielding a megaphone to personally remind fellow drivers about helmets, stop lines and responsibility, one traffic light at a time. Speaking to TNIE, Arun, who is an environment manager with Nirmaan Organisation, a non-profit focused on sustainable development, says he and his wife, Swetha, would drive 22 km from Ramanthapur to Madhapur, where they both work. In August 2024, frustrated by the chaos on the roads — red lights ignored, helmets skipped and rules flouted — Arun, a stickler for road safety, found himself arguing daily with rule-breakers. Exhausted, he considered giving up — until Swetha offered a new approach: 'We can't fight everyone. Why not talk to them instead?' That conversation was the turning point. The couple began stopping at signals, politely reminding fellow commuters to wear helmets and follow rules. 'To my surprise, people listened, some even thanked us,' says Arun. From that small step emerged the idea of The 'Hyderabad Road Warrior'. Arun created a distinct identity: a reflective jacket, body cam, megaphone, traffic baton and even a logo. His car and moped were stocked with ropes, radium tapes, reflectors and caution tape. He started recording his outreach, blurring faces, and posting videos on Instagram (@hydroadwarrior) and X (@arun_bathula). 'For over a year now, I've been documenting my efforts. Between Ramanthapur and Madhapur, people now recognise me. Around 50% of the commuters I see greet me or follow the rules more consciously,' he says. United as family It's now a family effort. Swetha is fully involved and their three-year-old daughter has become a mini safety enforcer, often asking, 'Papa, did you wear your helmet?'

They walk you through the full 2.37 km, 18-turn Ancol Beach circuit—pointing out key spots like the Attack Mode at Turn 16, the Julius Baer Duel zones, and big overtake opportunities in Turns 1, 7–8, and 13. Plus, it explains how the broadcast overlays session timings, sector splits, live driver positions, and full-course yellow zones on the map. It's like having a mini-engineer whispering in your ear during the race so helpful!
