Jenna Bush Hager reveals 'White Lotus'-inspired bob haircut on the 'Today' show
Jenna Bush Hager debuted a new haircut on Tuesday.
On the June 16 episode of Jenna & Friends, Hager was joined by The White Lotus actress Leslie Bibb, who famously rocked a blunt bob during the show's third season. Bibb brought her hairstylist, Chris McMillan, to the show to give Hager a brand new bob of her own — during the episode's live taping.
Hager showcased her new hairdo during Tuesday's episode of Jenna & Friends alongside Bibb, who joined her once again. While Hager's children weren't fans of the Today host's new look, her husband was very much on board.
'My husband did like it,' Hager told Bibb. 'He was like, 'Damn, that's hot.''
Before cutting Hager's hair, McMillan likened the modern bob to 'spring cleaning.'
'Bobs are like spring cleaning,' McMillan said on Monday. 'There's some bad damage, bad layers. It sort of evens it up.'
McMillan also assured the Today host that he'd be giving her a 'modern version' of a bob, which is characterized by its 'blunter' and 'not so layer-y' appearance.
Bibb stood next to Hager, hyping her up as McMillan carried out the dramatic change. As a celebrity hairstylist, McMillan has worked with several of Hollywood's biggest names — like Jennifer Aniston during her Friends run. The beloved stylist was responsible for giving Aniston her now iconic, quintessential '90s haircut known as 'The Rachel.'
McMillan spoke of the modern bob's versatility and how its simplicity can elevate a person's look.
'You can slick it behind your ears, like do the tuck,' he told Hager, adding that the style also allows for the hair to be worn down on one side of the face and tucked back on the other, for an asymmetrical look.
'You can wear it natural, you can wear it wavy,' McMillan added.
Bibb's blunt bob immediately captured the attention of fans online following the Season 3 premiere of The White Lotus. The Popular actress previously told Today.com that the hairstyle received a vulgar nickname, thanks to her White Lotus costar Aimee Lou Wood.
'Aimee Lou is British. Aimee Lou is like my sister. So we're very close, so we talk a lot, and do voice memos to each other,' Bibb said. 'I think it was maybe the first episode or something, and she sent, 'My friend wanted me to tell you that he's f***ing loving you and your c***y little bob.'
McMillan even captured the moment he gave Bibb her blunt bob.
'Ummmm can you say iconic?? @mslesliebibb and I are always trouble together now let's see the 'c***y little bob' become the look of the year with color by @traceycunningham1,' McMillan wrote.
Bibb left a comment on McMillan's Instagram post, writing, 'I LOVE YOU SO MUCH @mrchrismcmillan...we have been doing this a long time together... thank you for always making it so fun and effortless to help me find some new person to be...you're the GOAT ❤️'

Servers blast parents whose kids make their jobs hell: ‘It's not a McDonald's PlayPlace'
Parents are being served up some serious etiquette lessons. A server says many in the industry dislike when mindless moms and dads dine at restaurants with their unruly kids in tow. But while other patrons may direct their ire at the offspring, many professionals say parents are the ones who should shoulder the blame if their children misbehave. 'Servers don't want to shame families or discourage them from going out to eat,' Alana Fineman, a comedian and server who posts restaurant skits on TikTok, told 'Parents are usually…trying their best.' However, Fineman, who hails from Southern California, says there are some mistakes moms and dads do make in restaurants. 'The phrase, 'The customer is always right' is dying out,' the server dished. Below, the errors that reveal more about the parents than they do about their children. Leave a mess Part of being a kid is making a mess, but when parents leave it to the bussers to clean up, that's when it becomes a problem. 'It's one thing when a baby throws food from his high chair — it's another when kids rip open sugar packets and dump them on the floor or finger-paint with ketchup on the walls,' Fineman said. 'That usually means that a parent is not paying attention or allowing it to happen.' If a kid throws up or there's food all over the walls and floors, it's the busser that cleans it up. Allow children to run around Most restaurants don't have the space for children to be running around wildly, which could lead to destruction. If a child runs into a server, broken glass can end up on the floor, food can fall and there's the potential of delayed orders and injuries. 'If you're carrying a tray of five martinis or plates of boiling-hot food and a child runs in front of you, you can drop it on the floor or onto a person,' Fineman said 'Kids shouldn't run through a restaurant — it's not a McDonald's PlayPlace,' she declared. During an incident at her restaurant, there were kids that 'climbed over a fence and onto the street, where they threw rocks onto the dining patio.' While no one got injured, an employee at the restaurant 'did the parenting' and lectured the children. Make servers part of a 'teachable moment' 3 'Kids shouldn't run through a restaurant — it's not a McDonald's PlayPlace,' she declared. 'Every so often, a parent says, 'We're not moving on until you learn to order,'' Fineman explained. 'I can't always be a part of it when I'm really busy.' Demand changes for picky eaters 3 Dining out with children can be a stress for parents — but sometimes it's the parents who make a server's job harder. She claimed that some parents will get 'irate' if the restaurant's menu is restrictive or if the chef can't make a very specific meal. 'If it's a slow day, they might be able to…but not every time,' says Fineman. 'There needs to be a contingency plan for what your child can eat.' Fineman guessed that perhaps some parents do this to not have to pay automatic gratuity for larger parties, but she believes that most simply don't realize. This could lead to a problem on busy days when the family will ultimately end up waiting longer for a table that can accommodate them. 'There can be an unfortunate domino effect in the restaurant industry,' Fineman said. 'Miscalculating three people can affect the next 45 minutes.'

Look: Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun attend 'Squid Game' Season 3 premiere
June 19 (UPI) -- Lee Jung-jae and Lee Byung-hun were among the Squid Game cast members to attend the premiere of the Korean drama series' third and final season Wednesday. The event took place at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. Lee Jung-jae portrays Gi-hun, or player 456, on the show, which follows the participants in a life-or-death game. In the previous season, Gi-hun tried and failed to destroy the game. Jung-jae, 52, wore a long blazer over a white mesh shirt to the premiere. Lee Byung-hun portrays Hwang In-ho, or the Front Man, in the series. He wore a white pin-striped suit Wednesday. In a recent interview on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Byung-hun said more characters will learn Front Man's identity in Season 3. Show creator and director Hwang Dong-hyuk was also in attendance. He wore an oversized navy blue blazer and wire-rimmed glasses. Other Squid Game cast members to step out Wednesday included Jo Yu-ri, Park Sung-hoon, Kang Ae-sim and Yim Si-wan. Season 3 arrives on Netflix June 27.

Matthew Perry's Ketamine Death: Second Doctor Agrees to Plead Guilty
The 'lead' doctor charged in connection with Matthew Perry's 2023 ketamine overdose death has accepted a plea deal, prosecutors announced Monday. Dr. Salvador Plasencia has agreed to plead guilty to four counts of distribution of ketamine, a spokesperson with the Central District of California said. The charges carry a statutory maximum sentence of 40 years in federal prison. He was arrested last August alongside Jasveen Sangha, the woman described by prosecutors as the 'Ketamine Queen' of North Hollywood. When federal officials first unsealed their 18-count indictment last year, they identified Plasencia and Sangha as the 'lead defendants' in the case. They said three other defendants already had agreed to deals in exchange for their cooperation. The other three were identified as Perry's live-in assistant Kenneth Iwamasa, Dr. Mark Chavez (another physician), and Erik Fleming, a local man who allegedly acted as a go-between for Sangha in ketamine sales to Perry. '[Plasencia] essentially acted as a street-corner drug dealer peddling a dangerous substance to somebody he knew was addicted,' Assistant U.S. Attorney Ian Yanniello said last year at Plasencia's arraignment in downtown Los Angeles. 'He commented to another patient that the victim was spiraling out of control, yet he still offered to sell [Perry] more ketamine.' In his plea deal agreement signed June 13, Plasencia admitted he once injected Perry with ketamine while the actor was in the backseat of a car parked outside the Long Beach Aquarium in Long Beach, California. He also admitted he visited Perry's house on Oct. 12, 2023, administered ketamine, and then watched as Perry's 'blood pressure spiked,' causing the actor to 'freeze up.' 'Not withstanding victim M.P.'s reaction, defendant left additional vials of ketamine with defendant Iwamasa, knowing that defendant Iwamasa would inject the ketamine into victim M.P.,' the plea agreement stated. Plasencia pleaded not guilty at his arraignment last year and was released on bond. His lawyers did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Monday. Sangha, 42, was remanded into custody and is awaiting a trial set to begin in August. Prosecutors argued last August that she was a flight risk due to her British citizenship and because she allegedly returned to selling ketamine after both Perry's death and the death of another man in 2019 that purportedly was linked to ketamine she supplied. Perry, an actor best-known for playing Chandler Bing on the hit sitcom Friends, died on Oct. 28, 2023, at the age of 54 from the acute effects of ketamine, his autopsy determined. He was found face down in a hot tub at his home in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles. Officials said Perry 'became addicted' to intravenous ketamine while seeking treatment for depression and anxiety at a local clinic in fall 2023. They said Perry turned to the four suppliers charged in the case when the clinic refused to increase his dosage. According to prosecutors, Plasencia and Chavez distributed about 20 vials of liquid ketamine to Perry in exchange for $55,000 cash during the last few weeks of the actor's life. The doctors charged Perry $2,000 for a single vial that cost Chavez approximately $12, officials said. 'I wonder how much this moron will pay?…[Let's] find out,' Plasencia allegedly texted Chavez on Sept. 30, 2023, according to the indictment. Later that day, Plasencia injected Perry with ketamine at the actor's house and left vials behind for Iwamasa to administer to Perry even though the assistant had no medical training, the filing stated. After the meeting, Plasencia allegedly texted Chavez that the interaction was 'like a bad movie.' Chavez is due to be sentenced on Sept. 17. Fleming has his sentencing scheduled for Nov. 12, while Iwamasa has his sentencing set for Nov. 19.
