These young actresses aren't just breaking molds with their roles; they're also setting international style benchmarks. By aligning with some of the world's top luxury brands, they're carving a distinct space for themselves in the global fashion arena. Janhvi Kapoor Janhvi's style has consistently been the talk of the town—and her recent Miu Miu look was no exception, taking us on a nostalgic trip back to our school days. Styled by her sister Rhea Kapoor, the actress wore a white knit mini skirt paired with a sleeveless matching white knit top. She layered the look with a blue checkered shirt and topped it off with an oversized, full-sleeved, brown checkered jacket that added a relaxed, effortless vibe. Mohanlal declines to continue as president at AMMA's general body meeting- Deets Inside
Mohanlal declined requests to continue as AMMA's president during the recent general body meeting of the association. His decision left the majority of the artistes disappointed, as they had hoped the Thudarum actor would remain in the position. AMMA Holds General Body Meeting The Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA), a group representing Malayalam film professionals, held its general body meeting in June 2025, according to reports by Onmanorama. The primary objective of the meeting was to decide on the future leadership of the organisation and to determine who would lead AMMA going forward. Instead of continuing with the current ad hoc committee, the members agreed to conduct proper elections within three months. This ad hoc committee had originally been formed after the previous leadership resigned amid serious allegations. Until the elections are held, the current temporary committee will continue to manage and oversee AMMA's activities. The newly elected team will be responsible for making significant decisions in the future, including internal reforms and welfare programmes. Mohanlal Declines to Continue as President Many actors requested Mohanlal, who had served as AMMA's president, to remain in the role. Around 20 members, including Suresh Gopi , Jagadeesh, and Baiju Santhosh , spoke in his support. However, Mohanlal declined the request, stating that it was time for younger and newer leaders to take over. He added that, if necessary, there was still time left to take decisions—offering a glimmer of hope—but ultimately encouraged the members to proceed with the elections. A large number of members attended the meeting, with 320 out of the total 500 members present, indicating strong interest in the proceedings. Several well-known actors, including Jagathy Sreekumar , attended the meeting after many years, making the event particularly memorable for all involved. AMMA backs 'son' Dileep in actress kidnap case Other Key Discussions During the Meeting Other topics discussed during the meeting included establishing guidelines regarding drug use during film shoots and increasing membership fees for senior artistes. However, no final decisions were made on these matters. It was noted that these issues would be addressed following the election of the new committee.

Anushka Sharma reveals why she and Virat Kohli are keeping their children Vamika and Akaay away from the public eye: 'We don't want to raise brats'
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have always kept thier children Vamika and Akaay away from the public eye. Their celebrity status and popularity make it difficult for them to hide their children but the couple has strived hard to maintain that. In a recent interview, Anushka opened up on parenting and their decision to keep children away from the public eye. She also spoke about the importance of raising kids with the right values. The actress said during a chat with Vogue, "Conditioning is the most important role in how we see the world. I come from a progressive background, so that will always be a part of our home. Love is the underlying factor in our home, and what's important to us is that our child be respectful of people. You have to create that value structure. We don't want to raise brats." She added, "Times have changed. It's important for children to look at their parents—they learn from you. And there is a sense of normalcy that both of us do work. Of course, one will have to manage things differently and more efficiently to work." Talking about parenting and how difficult it is, Anushka added, "You have to learn as you go; you can't pressurise yourself, but you have to be prepared because there will be curveballs." by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Secure Your Child's Future with Strong English Fluency Planet Spark Learn More Undo The 'Band Baaja Baaraat' actress also opened up on raising her children away from the limelight. She said, "We've thought about it a lot. We definitely do not want to raise a child in the public eye—we don't plan on engaging our child in social media. I think it's a decision your child should be able to take. No kid should be made to be more special than the other. It's hard enough for adults to deal with it. It's going to be difficult, but we intend to follow through. " The actress has largely been spending time away from movies, ever since she embraced motherhood and is being quite selective about her work.
