Jordan's Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Dr. Mohammad Al-Khalayleh, confirmed on Saturday the successful completion of transferring all Jordanian pilgrims from Medina to Mecca. اضافة اعلان The minister noted that all pilgrims are in good health, with no reported injuries, except for one driver who is still receiving treatment.
Dr. Al-Khalayleh stated that the pilgrims have performed the rituals of Umrat al-Tamattu' and are now resting in preparation for the Hajj rites, which begin on the 8th of Dhul-Hijjah. He urged pilgrims to avoid crowded places and direct exposure to high temperatures, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the administrative, medical, and religious mission guidelines at their accommodations, to ensure their safety and a safe return to Jordan.

This initiative marked a landmark expansion of Bupa Arabia's services beyond corporate campuses, bringing integrated, tech-enabled medical care directly to pilgrims during one of the most spiritually significant gatherings in the CareAs part of its social responsibility strategy, the "Bupa Clinics" initiative was launched in coordination with Urgent Care Centers under the supervision of the Ministry of Health. The initiative aimed to provide primary healthcare services to all pilgrims — both Bupa members and non-members, the Mina based clinics offered comprehensive primary healthcare services around the clock. Strategically positioned near essential amenities such as Al-Dawaa Pharmacy, the clinics ensured accessible, responsive care to support the wellbeing of pilgrims within the sacred sites.1,368 Medical Cases Handled with Round-the-Clock ExpertiseOperating 24/7 throughout the Hajj season, the clinics recorded a total of 1,368 medical interactions. Male pilgrims represented 75% of the cases, while female patients accounted for 25%. The facility was staffed by a dedicated medical team of six doctors and three nurses, working in rotational shifts to guarantee continuous readiness and rapid services ranged from vital signs monitoring and management of heat exhaustion, to chronic illness care and emergency triage. Notably, 20 patients were transferred to the Armed Forces Hospital in Mina for advanced treatment, while one critical case required urgent life-saving intervention, underscoring the preparedness and responsiveness of the sought care for a wide spectrum of conditions, including headaches, fatigue, skin infections, joint pain, conjunctivitis, gastrointestinal discomfort, heatstroke, and minor injuries. The clinics prioritized culturally sensitive and timely care, with special attention to the elderly and individuals with chronic at the Core of Care DeliveryThe clinics were equipped with advanced medical tools such as ECG machines, digital blood pressure monitors, and glucose meters. All systems were seamlessly connected to Bupa Arabia's unified digital health platform, enhancing the accuracy of diagnoses, improving case documentation, and streamlining patient physical health, mental health support and health education were key components of the initiative. Jordan evacuates new batch of child patients from Gaza by land and air The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army on Wednesday implemented a new medical evacuation operation for 16 child patients from Gaza, including 10 cancer patients, along with 48 family members, as part of the Jordan Medical Corridor initiative. اضافة اعلان Twelve of the children were transported by land, while four were transported by air. One of the patients will be later evacuated to Saudi Arabia for treatment, while another will receive treatment in the United Arab Emirates. The patients and their accompanying family members were evacuated in cooperation with Jordan's Ministry of Health and the World Health Organisation (WHO). A total of 57 children and 113 family members have been medically evacuated by land and air to Jordan since the medical corridor initiative was launched. The Jordan Medical Corridor initiative was launched in March this year upon Royal directives, with the goal of providing treatment for Gazan children at Jordanian hospitals.
