You may have figured as much based on the complete lack of Motorola Edge 60 Ultra information in the public space right now, but interestingly enough, Evan Blass claims there's "definitely" an Edge 70 Ultra in the pipeline.
Unfortunately, we have no idea how this undoubtedly ultra-powerful device will look and exactly what specs it could offer, but there's clearly a good chance it'll resemble the "vanilla" Edge 70 surprisingly leaked last month . If Motorola doesn't radically revise its product launch schedule, the new family of "edgy" Android smartphones is likely to only see daylight next year, which makes these rumors... kind of weird and totally premature.

as the top dog of the 2025 Edge lineup.
What's also undeniably bizarre is that the company apparently doesn't plan to release a sequel for last year's Snapdragon 8s Gen 3-powered Edge 50 Ultra , leaving the MediaTek Dimensity 8350-based Edge 60 Pro as the top dog of the 2025 Edge lineup.
. That... would be pretty weird as well, but Motorola is certainly not the most conventional or predictable Android handset vendor out there anyway.
Of course, you also have to consider the possibility that the Edge 70 and Edge 70 Ultra will come out by the end of this year to better compete against the likes of Apple's iPhone 17 series and Samsung's Galaxy S25 FE . That... would be pretty weird as well, but Motorola is certainly not the most conventional or predictable Android handset vendor out there anyway.
If real, it would definitely be nice if the Edge 70 Ultra could return Motorola to a two-model US launch strategy too after the mid-range Edge (2024) and Edge (2025) landed without higher-end Plus siblings. But I'm clearly getting ahead of myself here when there are so many basic details we still don't know about the company's future "international" Edge devices.
If it feels like something is still missing from Motorola's expansivehandset portfolio, I may have some bad news for you today... and some (relatively) good news. According to one of the most prolific and quite possiblymost trustworthy mobile tech leaker out there , the "regular" Edge 60 Pro , and Edge 60 Fusion "might" not get an Ultra sibling.

Apple has divided opinions with its new iOS 26 – it introduced new features, but is also a part of a wider effort to unify the user experience across all Apple products. As we noted in last week's poll, the new OS version is only available as a developer beta – an open beta should be out in a few weeks, the stable release will likely coincide with the arrival of the iPhone 17 series. What does the poll show? Around half of voters have found something to like in the iOS 26 update. That said, that was mostly due to the new features introduced in this version. As for Liquid Glass, the new unifying design language, that has its fans too, but they are in the minority. Positive impressions include better-quality glass visuals than Vista ever delivered and extended customization options. Negative opinions see this as just a skin at best rather than an actual major change to the UI. The computational requirements (more battery drain and more heat) of the new UI are also drawing ire. And, of course, legibility remains a concern – the good news on that front is that the Accessibility settings offer a toggle to reduce the transparency of the UI. Not everyone, though, some long-time Apple users see this as a bad direction for UI. The 'wait and see' group isn't as big but Apple still has time to tweak details between now and Q4 when iOS 26 will be made available to the public at large. Subsequent versions will continue iterating on the design too.

Apple starts displaying energy efficiency labels on iPhone and iPad's pages in EU
Starting June 20, manufacturers are required to sell their smartphones and tablets in the European Union (EU) with an energy efficiency label in the box. We don't know about the boxes, but with the regulation in effect, Apple has started displaying this label on iPhone and iPad's pages on its website in EU countries. If you visit an iPhone or iPad's main product page or purchase page, you'll see a colorful little icon, and upon clicking it, you'll see the energy label of that product. iPhone 16 Pro's product page on Apple Ireland's website • iPhone 16 Pro's purchase page on Apple Ireland's website This label is accompanied by a product information sheet that provides the device's repairability information and general parameters, including rated battery capacity, screen scratch resistance on the Mohs hardness scale, minimum guaranteed availability of security updates, and IP rating. iPhone 16 Pro's product information sheet shared by Apple The energy label, on the other hand, displays seven pieces of information about the product, including an overall energy efficiency class rating on a scale of A to G, with A being the most efficient and G being the least.
