In one of this week's episodes, Kat is stunned when Alfie pops the question – and planning for the big day soon begins.
But trouble is quickly looming – and the couple look far from overjoyed in these first-look pictures.
There is even a chance Kat may not go through with it.
The couple first married in the 2003 Christmas special, with Kat's dream of a white wedding coming true thanks to a snow machine Alfie hired for the occasion.
They were ripped apart a year later when Kat's jealous ex, Andy Hunter, threatened to kill Alfie unless Kat slept with him.
The pair divorced then remarried in 2014 – but that didn't last either.
Kat subsequently had a brief failed marriage to Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) before reuniting with Alfie.
Let's hope it's third time lucky.

The chefs fell out in 2009 when Gordon referred to his TV rival as a 'one-pot wonder', later labelling him a 'mere cook'.
Jamie hit back that the Hell's Kitchen hothead was 'jealous' of his career and was 'too busy shouting and screaming'.
But Jamie has now told The Sunday Times Magazine: 'Me and Gordon are absolutely friends – our little berating decade is behind us.
'He's smashing life at the moment. He's doing things that no chef has ever done.
'We're on good terms, and long may it continue.'

The BBC's Pilgrimage is getting a spin-off which will start filming this month

THE Beeb's Faith show Pilgrimage has played host to some interesting stars over the years, from Christine McGuinness to Neil Morrissey.
Now I can reveal it's getting a spin-off which will start filming this month.
The programme's creators CTVC are working on the similar BBC project, which takes a deeper dive into religions and beliefs.
The show has yet to get an official title but filming is set to wrap at the end of this summer – so it could be on our screens around this time next year.
Pilgrimage has delivered steady ratings since it debuted in 2018 with its first adventure across Spain.
Since then, it's taken a group of celebs on various treks in countries ranging from Italy and Turkey to Switzerland and Scotland.

HARRY MOULDING is already thinking about the future after triumphing on Britain's Got Talent on Saturday.
The magician says his journey began when he was 11 years old and a conjurer came to his school.
From that point Harry reckoned he was Harry Potter.
He said of his teachers: 'I used to get my cards confiscated in class because I constantly wanted to perform my magic tricks to school friends.
'I'm sorry to the teachers who had to deal with my magic antics, but I hope they can see it was all worth it now. I'm grateful to my school.
'With the money, perhaps I can open the magic school, a BGT Hogwarts, and Simon Cowell could be the Dumbledor of BGTWarts.'
I think he should come up with a catchier name though.
LOVE Island has added another hunk to its roster just days before the new series kicks off – Londoner Tommy Bradley.
An insider said: 'He's a cheeky chappy who enjoys a night out with the lads.
"He's packed on serious muscle – so he's not just a personality hire.'
MORE than three years after it last aired, Stranger Things is returning to Netflix for its final series.
Four new episodes of the show, starring Millie Bobby Brown, will appear in November, with three more out on Christmas Day followed by the finale on New Year's Eve.

'I'm riding 1,000 miles to get to Glastonbury - people think I'm crazy'

One festivalgoer has taken his journey to Glastonbury to all new lengths as he's been cycling 100km a day for almost a month in a bid to get to Worthy Farm from Madrid, Spain The countdown to Glastonbury is fast approaching, with mere days to go before hundreds of thousands of festivalgoers pitch up their tents for five days of spectacular performances. While many will be travelling by car, train or coach, one man is so dedicated to the UK's biggest festival that he's riding a whopping 100km a day on his bike to get there! Ollie White, 25, started his lengthy journey at the end of May from Madrid, Spain, where he lives and works as a content creator for La Liga, the Spanish football league. Over the course of almost a month, he has ventured across majestic mountains, the biggest sand dune in Europe, serene coastlines and desert-like landscapes with just a backpack, a tent and his bicycle. ‌ In total, Ollie will travel over 1,600km, or 994 miles, to Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset, racking up 62 miles a day. ‌ With just a few days to go until the gates open at Glastonbury on Wednesday, 25 June, at 8 am, Ollie has almost completed his trek and has been documenting his journey on TikTok and Instagram every day. In his most recent update on Sunday, 22 June, Ollie confirmed that he reached Plymouth before heading to Totnes, Devon, where he'd stay the night. He is hoping to reach Glastonbury by Tuesday, 24 June. When asked by the BBC why he opted to ride from Madrid to Worthy Farm, he simply said: "I have a ticket for Glastonbury, so why not cycle?" Speaking further about his experience, he also shared with the news outlet: "A lot of people think I'm crazy for doing this, but for me it doesn't seem too crazy. "It's just a challenge I've set myself and, at the end of the day, once you've done all the preparation, you just have to get on the bike each day and do the kilometres." ‌ He described his adventure as "absolutely incredible" and that "everything has been really positive". He's spent time camping alone in secluded, yet beautiful spots across Europe and the UK, while taking in nature and the incredible scenery during each leg of his journey. When he finally reaches his end location, Ollie has a list of performances lined up to watch during the weekend at Glastonbury, including Neil Young, Loyle Carner, Kneecap, Caribou, Scissor Sisters and Kaiser Chiefs.
