EXCLUSIVE Kerry Katona stole MY boyfriend! Woman claims singer's lover promised to marry her and lied about going on Celebs Go Dating
A woman has claimed she was dating Kerry Katona 's new boyfriend before he went on Celebs Go Dating where he met the singer.
Kerry, 44, went public with Paolo Margaglione, 33, last week, passionately kissing and holding hands with the personal trainer, who's 10 years her junior.
But Kerry's new romance, her first public relationship since splitting from ex-fiancé Ryan Mahoney last November, has been thrown into doubt amid claims Paolo is only interested in 'fame' and growing his public profile.
Paolo's former girlfriend claims that she was dating him when he went on the E4 show and has accused him of two-timing her with the Atomic Kitten star.
Jessica Smith, 25, says father-of-two Paolo didn't tell her he was going on the series - and only went on because he wants to further his career.
Heartbroken Jessica, a warehouse manager from Holmfirth, Yorkshire, told MailOnline: 'I do not believe that he has one single feeling for Kerry, he only cares about fame.'
She even says Paolo had planned to fly her to Ibiza, where he claimed to be on holiday but was in fact with Kerry filming Celebs Go Dating and that his regular trips to London, where the agency is based, was for 'business.'
Speaking exclusively, Jessica said: 'I do not believe that he has one single feeling for Kerry, he only cares about fame, and he'll be happy he's now being put out there.
'I back the fact 100 per cent that he has not go on Celebs Go Dating to find love. He lied to me the entire time we were together. It was horrendous.
'This has all massively taken me by surprise. The articles say they filmed Celebs Go Dating in Ibiza, and he told me he was going there for three weeks, he was trying to make me book a flight to meet him out there.
'He said he was there for a stag do and flying his children out the second week and the third week he would be free to see me. But now I know none of that was happening and he was filming a dating show out there.
'Every time he went to London, he told me it was for a business meeting. He would even send me pictures... but he was filming Celebs Go Dating. Every single thing was an act. I feel like I was completely led the entire time.'
Former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry stars in the upcoming series of Celebs Go Dating, her second time as a cast member after she first appeared on the show in 2019.
Kerry, who's been married three times, ended her six-year relationship with former fiancé Ryan over a 'breach of trust' last November.
But now as she embarks on a new romance, Kerry allegedly needs to be weary of Paolo's intentions, as his ex claims he even admitted to only taking part on Celebs Go Dating for 'fame.'
Jessica said: 'He told me that he filmed for a dating show a 'long time ago' and it was 'nothing for me to worry about.' He told me that 'it's nothing to do with love and it's only for the fame.' He said, 'I promise you, everyone goes on the show for fame and I'm just doing the same.'
The warehouse manager explained how she and Paolo met after he messaged her out of the blue on Instagram and they started dating, spending time together as he wined and dined her and she regularly stayed at his house.
Paolo told Jessica he had split from the mother of his two daughters over a year ago and they remain close for their young family.
As far as Jessica was concerned, she and Paolo were committed to each other and he filmed Celebs Go Dating, which casts non-famous individuals to date celebrities as they seek advice from relationship experts, behind her back.
Paolo, who said he would 'marry' Jessica if given the chance, was exchanging loved-up messages with her during the days he was filming Celebs Go Dating in late April and early May.
Jessica said he eventually admitted to filming the programme, which also stars Love Island's Olivia Hawkins and The Chase's Mark Labbett this series, leaving her in floods of tears.
She said: 'I asked him, do you expect me to sit at home and watch this and still be with you and he replied: 'I hope you will do that but it's completely down to you.' I hysterically cried all day at work, everything was a lie.'
Kerry was previously married to Westlife singer Brian McFadden, who she shares daughters Molly, 23, and Lilly-Sue, 22, with, before they divorced in 2006.
The former I'm A Celebrity winner wed taxi driver Mark Croft in 2007 after a whirlwind romance and the exes have children Heidi, 18, and Maxwell, 16, together.
She was married to her third husband, George Kay from 2014 to 2017, two years before he died aged 39 from a fatal seizure after 'biting into a ball of cocaine.'
Kerry, who's also a mother to daughter Dylan-Jorge, 11, from her marriage to George, has spoken in depth about the couple's former relationship and how she endured terrible abuse during their time together.
Speaking on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, she sobbed: 'He was really abusive… My children heard the shouting, they saw the black eyes.'
The ex-singer starred in girl group Atomic Kitten between 1998-2001, years before love rival Jessica was born.
And Jessica says she felt reassured after seeing new photos of Paolo kissing Kerry, who at 19 years her senior, she doesn't consider a threat.
She said: 'I haven't spoken to Paolo since he's gone public with Kerry... at first, I felt absolutely awful but then I thought, thank God it's not some skinny, pretty model. I genuinely don't think she's a pretty woman, so I felt better in that sense.'
Paolo told MailOnline: 'I was never in a relationship with Jess. We only met up around five times.
'I was honest with her that I had been offered to go on a dating show and if it were to come fruition, I would take the opportunity.
'I made it clear to Jess that we had to stop talking and seeing each other as I had been offered to go on the show. I have nothing bad to say about Jess she's a great girl.'

Jesy Nelson shares sweet insight into her life as a new mum as she posts snaps with newborn twins after finally coming home from hospital
Jesy Nelson has shared a sweet insight into her life as a new mum as she posted adorable pictures with her newborn twins on Friday. The former Little Mix singer, 34, and rapper Zion Foster, 26, welcomed their first children, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe, in May after suffering months of complications. And appearing every inch the doting mother, the star looks to have settled into motherhood well as she posted an array of family pictures to Instagram. In one snap, Jesy can be seen cuddling one of her babies as they slept on her chest. Zion also appeared to enjoy fatherhood as he was seen entertaining the little ones with a fun dance. Another snap saw one of the newborn resting in a singular hand while wrapped up in a white baby grow. Alongside the snaps, Jesy penned: 'Have never ever felt more lucky and blessed in my whole entire life.' Her updates comes days after she revealed she is finally home with her newborn twins after three months in hospital. Jesy took to social media to share the major update with her fans. She simply wrote: 'My babies made it home for my birthday.' Fans were left delighted by the milestone, and flooded Jesy with compliments and well wishes. Ocean Jade and Story Monroe were born at just 31 weeks old, after Jesy was diagnosed with twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) - a rare condition that can put one or both babies at risk. Before being released from hospital the twins had been receiving treatment in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Jesy recently opened up about their premature births, telling fans: 'Nothing or no one will ever be able to prepare you as a parent for NICU. 'It's the most scary overwhelming feeling of emotions not being able to feel like you can protect your babies. 'Naturally as a mother you just want to hold them and comfort them when they cry but you can't because there are what feels like a million wires coming out of them and tubes and masks in the way with people poking and prodding them it breaks your heart into a million pieces. 'Having them reunited for the first time ever today was the most magical feeling I will never be able to describe. The strongest little girls I've ever known who really do have the most inspiring story to tell'. In March, Jesy had to undergo an emergency procedure after suffering complications and was advised to remain in hospital until she was at least 32 weeks into her pregnancy. Throughout the ordeal, her partner Zion admitted he and Jesy, who was seven months pregnant at the time of her procedure, had ' grown to understand each other on a deeper level '. He told OK!: 'I think it's at these times when you really, really know what love you have and what your relationship means. 'And I think for me and Jess, this has just taken it to a whole other level of us knowing we are literally made for each other.' He said the couple had also tried to make the hospital as much of a home as possible. 'There's a couch that turns into a bed that we pushed next to the hospital bed, so we've made our own double bed. 'And it's like we've moved in. The nurses just said, "Oh, my God. It looks so nice in here. It looks so homely".' Jesy announced she was expecting twins with her boyfriend Zion back in January after rumours they had split. Originally from South London, Zion was born and raised in a Nigerian household by his mother and grew up listening to Gospel music. It was his football coach who then introduced the star to rap influences as he began listening to Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and Usher. Zion then decided to pursue music as he began recording his own music and sharing it online via SoundCloud.

The King and Idris Elba team up for new Netflix documentary film
The King and British actor Idris Elba have teamed up for a new Netflix film about the charity that 'changed' the star's life. The film will explore The King's Trust – a youth charity set up by Charles when he was the Prince of Wales, as it celebrates its 50th anniversary – to highlight how the charity has helped young people around the world, documenting 'the power of believing in young people'. The Luther star, who was a beneficiary of a grant from the trust, will accompany the King as he shares insights into his support for the charity. Elba said: 'The King's Trust gave me an opportunity that changed my life. 'At a time when I didn't have the resources to pursue my ambitions, they offered real, practical support — including financial help — that helped me take those first steps to advance my career. 'Around the world, millions are still waiting for that one door to open. This documentary is about shining a light on what's possible when it does — and why the work of The King's Trust remains so important.' Formerly known as The Prince's Trust, the charity was set up by Charles to help disadvantaged young people overcome challenging circumstances, get into employment or launch their own businesses. It has since become one of the UK's leading youth organisations and has helped more than 1.3 million young people to date with celebrity ambassadors including former England football manager Sir Gareth Southgate and presenters Ant and Dec. Jonathan Townsend, UK chief executive of The King's Trust, said: 'At its heart, this is a documentary about the power of believing in young people. It's about an idea, driven by a young Prince who was determined to make a positive difference, that when young people are supported to succeed, we all succeed. 'Almost 50 years on, the momentum behind this idea has seen more than 1.3 million young people supported in over 20 countries around the world, including more than a million in the UK alone, through the work of The King's Trust. 'Nobody understands the impact of this work better than those who have experienced the support we offer first hand. As a long-term supporter and former beneficiary of The Trust himself, Idris will undoubtedly bring a unique perspective to this groundbreaking documentary as he peels back the layers of our story and shows how our life-changing work is as relevant today as it has ever been.' The film will be directed by Bafta-winning filmmaker Ashley Francis-Roy, with young people supported by the Trust helping the production team to build experience in film and television. The documentary is produced by 22 Summers, the production company co-founded by Elba, and due to be released in autumn 2026.
