Rangers-linked Danny Rohl drops hint over next job
Today, it emerged the German is set to leave Sheffield Wednesday, despite his contract running until 2027.
As a result, this has added fuel to the fire that he could come into consideration for the vacant manager's position at Rangers, which is currently being held by interim boss Barry Ferguson.
With the US consortium closing in on their takeover of the Ibrox club, it's expected that appointing a new permanent manager will be their top priority upon their arrival.
Now, speaking to media outlet Kicker in his homeland, Rohl has outlined where he views his future, with reported interest from Premier League, Bundesliga and Saudi clubs.
'Personally, I had a fantastic time at Sheffield Wednesday," he said. "I've made no secret of the fact that I'd like to work at the highest possible level with the best players in the near future.
"And the Bundesliga is, of course, a consideration. And yet, I also know that getting the final nod requires good work, the right people who believe in you, and timing.

"And if all of that comes together, I might have the chance to return to the Bundesliga in the summer, or to return to the Bundesliga right away.
"But it could go in a completely different direction. My situation in Sheffield is unofficially relatively clear.
"There's a clear agreement with the owner about how I envision my future. Unfortunately, I can't go into detail about that right now.'
