Scripps National Spelling Bee: Meet the 2 Georgia students competing
Two students from Georgia will compete in next week's Scripps National Spelling Bee.

Sarv Dharavane, an 11-year-old fifth grader, attends Austin Elementary School in DeKalb County. He competed in last year's spelling bee and tied for 22nd place.
Sara Daoud, a 12-year-old seventh grader, attends Greenbrier Middle School in Columbia County.
Sarv and Sara finished as the winners and runner-ups respectively in the Georgia Association of Educators spelling bee.
They will now compete with 241 of the country's top young spellers in Maryland.
The Scripps National Spelling Bee starting May 27 with the preliminary rounds. Finals conclude on May 29.

MLB reveals 2025 All-Star Game week jerseys; players will wear their own uniforms in the game
The MLB All-Star Game will return to Atlanta in a month. Many fans will also get their wish with the return of an All-Star traditional look. MLB confirmed on Monday that All-Star players will wear their individual team jerseys during the game rather than different uniforms for the American League and for National League teams. Brian Rolapp named new CEO of PGA TOUR
The PGA Tour has named Brian Rolapp as its new Chief Executive Officer. He will begin the role later this summer. Atlanta's FIFA Club World Cup matches kick off this week
The FIFA Club World Cup takes over Atlanta starting on Monday. There will be six matches over the next three weeks at Mercedes-Benz Stadium featuring some of the biggest soccer clubs in the world. [DOWNLOAD: Free WSB-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] Atlanta officials expect to draw thousands to the matches and use the FIFA Club World Cup as a trial run for the 2026 FIFA Men's World Cup. Advertisement Atlanta's World Cup Hosting Committee gave an update on its readiness last week. Chair Dan Corso thinks Atlanta is moving forward parking with soccer's international governing body. 'I mean, we are a big event city. We know how to work together. We know how to make things happen. But we also know that we're ready because we get great feedback from FIFA,' Corso said.
