Chandler Baker, who wrote the original story, is also one of the executive producers.
The movie was produced by Showalter and Jordana Mollick through their company, Semi-Formal Productions (known for The Eyes of Tammy Faye and The Dropout), along with Berry Welsh and Jane Rosenthal from Tribeca Productions (The Irishman), and Kate Churchill, who worked on Amazon's Holland.
