The former Denver Broncos quarterback has joined the ownership group for the city's National Women's Soccer League franchise, which is set to begin play in 2026.
Despite 13 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, it's Manning's final four NFL seasons with the Broncos that seem to be the lasting image. The quarterback has remained involved with the organization in his post-playing days, serving an an ambassador for the franchise.
The five-time NFL MVP and two-time Super Bowl champion, who lives in the area, makes frequent appearances at Broncos' games, deepening his connection to the city. Of course, he's also remained busy in other ventures since hanging up the cleats.
Manning has furthered his media and business influence post-career through Omaha Productions and the "Manningcast" on "Monday Night Football" during select games throughout the NFL season.
Now he can add the NWSL to that list. Here's what to know about Manning's dive into women's sports:

The future team hasn't unveiled a name or branding, meaning Manning is getting in on the ground floor of this operation.
'It's a real honor to be part of something so meaningful to the Colorado community,' Manning said in the team's announcement. 'I'm proud to support the growth of women's sports and excited to help build a club that our city and our state can rally behind.'
This will be Manning's first venture into owning a sports team. His brother, Eli Manning, is a minority investor in Gotham FC.
Peyton Manning investments
Manning hasn't faded into the sunset following retirement from football. If anything, his profile has only grown over time with an expanding investment and sponsorship portfolio.
Commonly seen on Nationwide Insurance commercials, Manning is certainly familiar with the commercial game.
However, he is likely best-known at this stage for his media company, Omaha Productions, which has expanded it's NFL profile in recent years.
The production company behind the Netflix series "Quarterback" and "Receiver," they have also had a hand in other documentaries, unscripted shows and podcasts.
Aside from media, Manning recently invested in Good Good Golf, which sells performance golfwear. He previously was part of investments into Whistle Sports, SeatGeek and more.

Manning played 17 seasons in the NFL after he was drafted No. 1 overall in the 1998 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts.

Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce have date night in NYC
The post Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce have date night in NYC appeared first on ClutchPoints. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce take date night to the Big Apple. On Friday (June 20), Swift and Kelce were seen exiting hand in hand out of the Italian restaurant Torrisi in New York City. According to footage captured by fans who were leaving a restaurant nearby, Kelce shook the hand of one of the staff members of the restaurant and followed behind Swift. After a quick exchange between the pair, Kelce looks for Swift's hand and leads her into the black SUV that was waiting for them. The two looked pretty casual as Swift wore a striped pleated mini skirt with a blue corset tank and white heels. She opted to let her hair down in NYC's recent heat and wore her signature bright red lipstick. As for Kelce, he wore an all-white outfit that consisted of a U.S. soccer shirt, white shorts, and crisp white Air Force 1s. Over the past few weeks, Kelce and Swift have been seen outside more for their date nights. They recently attended Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers. The Panthers later ended up winning the series in back-to-back years. A date night to watch the Panthers makes sense for the couple as throughout their relationship, which began in 2023, they have been at several sporting events together such as the US Open and of course Swift has attended several Chiefs games cheering the tight end on. They also have been spending time in Florida as Kelce is in a minicamp for the upcoming NFL season and is renting a luxurious $20 million Boca Raton mansion during his stay there. In addition to dinner dates, Kelce recently opened up about how they also love staying in for a movie night at home. On last week's episode of the New Heights podcast which he cohosts with his brother Jason Kelce, Travis shared that he is 'down to watch' the 1990 classic romance comedy film Pretty Woman. The three-time Super Bowl champion revealed that the movie starring acting powerhouses Julia Roberts and Richard Gere 'has been on [his] and Tay's movie list for a while.' Swift has been making the most of her time in Florida and even recently visited a children's hospital. While she was putting a smile on the faces of patients and staff members, the singer even made a sweet nod to Travis in a video shared on X. 'My boyfriend is training here, so I just thought I'd come and see how you're doing,' Swift told a patient during her visit to the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. The upcoming NFL season will kick off in September with the Chief's first game will be in Sao Paulo, Brazil against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sept. 5. An insider revealed why Swift is so excited for this season. 'Not just because she loves supporting Travis, but because for the first full season since they started dating, she's not juggling a packed tour schedule,' the source told PEOPLE referring to Swift's record-breaking Eras Tour. 'This fall will be completely different,' the source continued. 'It's the first season where she's not constantly flying back and forth or working around an entire touring calendar.' Suns trade Kevin Durant to Rockets for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks in blockbuster move
Kevin Durant, once again, is on the move. The Phoenix Suns will ship Durant, a two-time NBA champion, 15-time All-Star and one of the elite players and scorers of his generation, to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the No. 10 pick in the 2025 draft and multiple second-round picks, a person with knowledge of the deal confirmed to USA TODAY Sports. The person spoke under the condition of anonymity on Sunday, June 22, because they were not authorized to publicly discuss the trade until it becomes official. Durant is set to enter the final season of his contract. The trade cannot be formalized until July 1, the start of the new league year. ESPN was first to report the news of the trade. Since he won a pair of consecutive NBA championships with the Warriors in 2017 and 2018, Durant has sought another title. His stints with the Brooklyn Nets and Suns didn't elevate either team to serious contention, though his statistical production has remained constant. And, with Durant set to enter the 2025-26 season as a 37-year-old, this may present his last chance to contend for another NBA Finals. This past season, Phoenix missed the play-in window and finished 11th in the Western Conference with a 36-46 record. The Suns dealt with several injuries throughout the season, including an ankle issue Durant sustained toward the end of the regular season that forced him to miss Phoenix's final seven games, six of which were losses. The Suns, who had the highest payroll in the NBA with Devin Booker and Bradley Beal also commanding large salaries, struggled to gel and lacked depth. In an attempt to work through those issues, players often had to change their roles and responsibilities, ultimately costing former coach Mike Budenholzer his job. Despite that, Durant averaged 26.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game in 62 appearances. In Durant, the Rockets are acquiring a proven commodity and an elite, three-level scorer who can knock down shots with ease, particularly late in games. This is something that should instantly help Houston, whose offense at times stagnated with no obvious top scoring threat. The No. 2 seed in the Western Conference that was bounced out of the first round of the playoffs, this move should boost Houston's chance to make a deep run in the postseason. With 30,571 career points, Durant ranks eighth on the all-time scoring list and is in real position to climb further; Durant, who scored 1,647 points this season with the Suns, needs just 1,722 points to surpass Michael Jordan (32,292), who is fifth on the list. A four-time scoring champion, two-time NBA Finals Most Valuable Player, 11-time All-NBA selection and the 2013-14 NBA Most Valuable Player, Durant was selected second overall in the 2007 NBA draft by the Seattle SuperSonics (who later became the Oklahoma City Thunder). Durant, a fixture on Team USA, is also a four-time Olympic gold medalist.

NFL analyst says former Steelers QB Kenny Pickett deserves the benefit of the doubt with Browns
The selection of quarterback Kenny Pickett in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft might go down as one of the worst picks of former Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert. Sort of a going-away present for the Steelers in Colbert's final draft. Now, in 2025, Pickett is now on his third team in four seasons and is hoping he can get a fresh start with the Cleveland Browns and try to win the starting quarterback job. Meanwhile, most members of the Cleveland media have already requisitioned the Hall of Fame bust for rookie Shedeur Sanders and have no interest in hearing about Pickett. But NFL Network reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala says people are being too tough on Pickett. She joined the Ken Carman Show and talked up Pickett and his journey that landed him with the Browns. The Browns currently have longtime veteran Joe Flacco as the starter with Pickett as the No. 2. Then there is a battle between rookies Dillon Gabriel and the aforementioned Sanders. Since most teams only keep three quarterbacks, training camp will help the Browns decide who is the odd man out.
