Dessert lovers, assemble! The biggest fight of all time is going on online and it is about one of the most interesting topics ever. Can a 4-pound cupcake be called a cupcake or is it a cake?
The Original Crumbs Bakeshop, a popular NYC bakery has been working hard to fulfil the dream of all sweet-tooth lovers.
On Monday, the beloved bakery announced that their new 4-pound Colossal Cupcakes are now available at the Kroger Family Stores.
'We launched CRUMBS to bring back the magic of neighborhood bakeries, and now we want to bring that same premium quality to local supermarkets — so shoppers can pick up fresh, delicious, showstopping CRUMBS desserts alongside their groceries,' said Mia Bauer, co-founder of Crumbs Bakeshop to the news magazine Supermarket Perimeter.
Now, people all over social media have been debating whether the dessert is a cake or a cupcake?
What is the weight of the cupcakes?
These gigantic cupcakes weigh 68 ounces and can feed about 20 people, said a spokesperson for the brand told Parade.
The serving size is approximately 21 and each serving is 290 calories, meaning the entire cupcake has about 6,090 calories, according to nutrition facts listed on Kroger's website.

The cupcakes as of now have two flavours: Vanilla Birthday Cake and Cookies & Cream.

The Crumbs Colossal Cupcake will hit the markets soon on June 20th at the Kroger family of grocery stores which includes Fred Meyer, Dillons, Fry's, Kroger, City Market, Metro Market and Ralphs. The cost of the cupcakes will be $24.99.
