Cambridgeshire firefighters tackle Wilburton landfill blaze

More than 20 firefighters were called to tackle a large landfill site blaze.Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to the site on Pools Road in Wilburton near Witchford at 17:58 BST on Thursday.Crews from Ely, Chatteris, Cottenham and Soham, along with a water carrier from Ramsey, attended and worked throughout the night to extinguish the fire.Fire inspections took place throughout Friday and an investigation into the cause is ongoing.

In a previous statement, the BBC said that it was assessing how to implement the ruling into its editorial guidelines. A spokesman said: 'In our news reporting, we always aim to deal with issues fairly and impartially, and this is informed by our editorial guidelines. BBC News are assessing the ruling to consider any updates which might need to be made to the style guide as a result.' The BBC has been approached for comment.

Man charged in relation to attack on Islamic Centre in Belfast

A man has been charged in relation to an attack on the Islamic Centre in Belfast. A viable device was thrown through a window of the centre during evening prayer on Friday. On Sunday, a man aged 34 was charged with a number of offences including attempted arson with intent to endanger life. He was also charged with attempt to cause an explosion, making explosives with intent to endanger life and criminal damage. He is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Monday.
