Wedding Card Sparks Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift Marriage Rumors
Wedding Card Sparks Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift Marriage Rumors originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Travis Kelce skipped Kansas City Chiefs' OTAs this week in part because he was attending a wedding with Taylor Swift.
Now some are speculating - thanks to a different wedding's seating arrangements - if Kelce has already gotten secretly married to his pop music icon girlfriend.
Chicago Bears' tight end Cole Kmet's event planner, Ellie Nottoli, shared details on last weekend's wedding to Emily Jarosz. The "news" was that Kelce and Swift were on the guest list. The planner revealed the 'personalized touches' at the ceremony, including a letter that was addressed to 'Taylor and Travis Kelce' in elegantly calligraphy, with a 'Table 13' assignment.
'We all know Taylor and Travis were at a different wedding in Tennessee,' Nottoli said in an Instagram Story video on Monday. 'But each guest had an envelope that was adhered to a beautiful backdrop, and Emily wrote love notes to all of her guests.'
Chiefs fans and Swifties alike went abuzz about seeing "Taylor Kelce" - if even only on a wedding table placement.
'TAYLOR AND TRAVIS KELCE?!????? EXCUSE ME,' one commentor said in reaction to Nottoli's photo.
Joked another, "Technically it should be Travis and Taylor Kelce.'
As it turns out, Kelce and Swift didn't even attend Kmet's wedding, instead going to Kelce's cousin's ceremony in Tennessee last Friday.
Aaron Rodgers showed up at Pittsburgh Steelers' minicamp Tuesday wearing a rubber wedding ring and announced he got married recently. Might Kelce do the same when he returns to Chiefs' OTAs?
The sentiment with Kelce and Swift's engagement doesn't seem to be if, but only when.

'Things Will Get Ugly...' If Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield Regresses in 2025
'Things Will Get Ugly...' If Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield Regresses in 2025 originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield has had, by definition, a complete career resurgence since arriving in town ahead of the 2023 season. Advertisement All he's done is post two straight career seasons under two different offensive coordinators. Mayfield passed for 4,044 yards in 2023 and 4,500 last season, both career highs, and 28 touchdowns in 2023 before eclipsing that with 41 touchdown passes last season, again, both career highs. His upward trend is unquestionable right now, but at least one analyst thinks that could change this season. Bleacher Report's Alex Ballentine thinks Mayfield could suffer a regression in 2025, and that would be bad for the Bucs. "Mayfield has been on an upward trajectory since joining the Bucs in 2023, but it's worth noting that year-to-year consistency has been an issue for him. His Browns career was marred by his inability to be the best version of himself every year," Ballentine wrote. "Unfortunately, a lot of that could be tied to turbulent coaching situations. The Browns didn't give him a lot of stability, and he hasn't enjoyed much of it since then. On one hand, that means he's used to working with a new coach just about every year. "On the other, there seems to be a pattern of Mayfield only performing well when he has a good coach orchestrating the offense. That's going to put even more pressure on Grizzard to pick up where Coen left off. Things will get ugly if Mayfield regresses with this much talent around him." Advertisement Mayfield and the Buccaneers might have the best offensive roster they've had since he arrived in town, and what's more, the defensive roster might be the most impressive, too. If Mayfield can keep trending upward, Tampa Bay will have a great chance for its third franchise Super Bowl. 49ers' George Kittle on Robert Saleh Return: 'Violence is Coming'
49ers' George Kittle on Robert Saleh Return: 'Violence is Coming' originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Since Robert Saleh left to join the New York Jets, the San Francisco 49ers have struggled to find a consistent defensive play-caller. Advertisement First, DeMeco Ryans was promoted to the defensive coordinator role. Then it was Steve Wilks. Through the years, only a few coaches could match the intensity and production Saleh was able to get out of his group. After a disaster ending in New York, Saleh is back as the 49ers defensive play-caller. And the rest of the organization is thrilled with that reality. "Violence is coming is what I would say," 49ers tight end George Kittle said Tuesday on The Rich Eisen Show. "He's really good at his job, and I'm really excited that we somehow convinced him to be our defensive coordinator again. "So, I'm pumped to have him back in the building, just hanging out with him a little bit, talking about stuff. You can just tell he's ready to roll this year, and he's gonna get the boys fired up." Advertisement San Francisco is coming off a down season last year, which was largely due to injuries on both sides of the ball. Losing several key starters on defense this offseason makes their quest to get back to championship contention even harder. If Saleh can keep the group afloat in 2025, though, San Francisco should be able to overcome its struggles last season. They may keep Saleh around for the long term as well.
