Love Island star admits 'I lost everything' including flat after blowing money

Daily Mirrora day ago

EXCLUSIVE: Love Island favourite Anna Vakili has remained in the spotlight ever since she left the villa back in 2019 but it's not all been smooth sailing for the pharmacist turned podcast host
Anna Vakili was forced to move out of her flat after spending all the money she made on the back of Love Island.
The 34-year-old brunette beauty shot to fame on the fifth series of ITV2 dating show back in 2019 alongside the likes of Molly-Mae Hague, Tommy Fury and Curtis Pritchard.

Over the past six years, Anna has remained firmly in the limelight and is now the host of the popular Sisters In The City podcast alongside her lookalike sibling Mandi Vakili.

The dynamic duo have recently finished their sold out tour but Anna has revealed it hasn't been an easy ride since leaving the famous villa.
Speaking on behalf of WhichBingo, Anna revealed: "Going on Love Island is great but it can go up and go down.
"I made so much money when I came off Love Island but I got so excited I spent all of it and at one point I lost everything and had move out of my flat.
"Now with the podcast it's gone back up and I'm not making the same mistakes I did when I was first out of Love Island. I'm going to be smart this time.
"I grew up most of my life struggling for money and suddenly I got money and I didn't know how to manage it but you live and you learn and I'm lucky I've been given another chance."

Before singing up for Love Island, Anna worked as a pharmacist and she returned to help out during the coronavirus lockdown but has since been forced to take a break from the role.
She explained: "I was a pharmacist but I was probably the strangest pharmacist you'll ever meet with my fake tits and fake arse. I try to stay in it a little bit but I couldn't keep up with it.

"What I do now is so different to pharmacy and I really enjoy this and that was really boring. The money is incomparable which is so sad because you study so hard."
Anna went on to share some words of wisdom to the sexy singletons currently taking part in Love Island series 12 and confirmed that she won't be returning for All Stars.

She said: "My advice would be when you come out be smart with your money and be smart with your cloud, do something with it. Find what you're good at and do it.
"I'm just so grateful that after six years that I'm still in this industry but I just think there's no point of me doing All Stars because I know everyone and I know no one is going to be for me.
"I'm open to other dating shows and Love Island Games because there's people from all over the world but not All Stars because the people on there are not my cup of tea."
Love Island airs Sunday to Thursday on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm

‘Get her out' rant Love Island fans as they call for star to be kicked off show for ‘bullying'

LOVE Island fans were left fuming during last night's explosive episode - with many demanding one islander be booted from the villa after accusing her of 'bullying' behaviour. Viewers vent their frustration with some even calling on ITV bosses to step in after islander constantly "digs out other girls." 5 5 Helena Ford, 29 has been accused of brining "mean girl energy" and constantly "digging out" other girls in the sun-soaked villa. Viewers previously begged Helena to stop being a "doormat" and dump Harry, 30, for good after he finally admitted to snogging Yasmin, 24, in the Hideaway. His confession prompted the blonde beauty to storm off and call things off with Harry for good saying she's "done" being humiliated. Since then, Helena has failed to strike up a spark with any of the other boys in the villa. But she hasn't stayed out of the spotlight - instead, Helena's found herself caught up in the girls' drama. Sitting down with the newest boy Harrison, 22, to chat and flirt, Helena was talking about his other love interest, Toni, 24. Helena explained how she thought Toni was "marking her territory" with Harrison. She also said that it sometimes felt like Toni didn't like her talking to Harrison. Harrison was stunned and intrigued as Helena spoke about the American bombshell. Fans are flooding online forums with the same message: 'Get Helena out!' Danny Dyer ‘never felt nerves' like it on daughter's wedding day

Actor Danny Dyer said he had 'never felt nerves' like those he experienced when he gave his daughter away as she married West Ham player Jarrod Bowen. Love Island star Dani Dyer wed sportsman Bowen last month. Advertisement Discussing the ceremony on their podcast, Live And Let Dyers, Dani said the day left her feeling so emotional she 'couldn't talk about it'. Her father, former EastEnders actor Dyer, said of the moment he walked her down the aisle: 'My heart was beating through my f***ing chest. 'I've done a lot of heavy s***. You know, I've done a lot of theatre and the awards things and everything like that, and there's a little bit of nerves, but I've never felt nerves like that. You know, just hanging on for dear life!' Dyer, who has recently been filming the second series of hit drama Rivals, said he felt 'choked up' at seeing the happy couple together. Advertisement He went on: 'I needed just to contain myself. Because obviously it's a huge day for everyone in your family, but particularly the tradition of marriages – it's your father giving away your daughter, you know?' The pair also joked about how Bowen's nerves meant he got his bride's name mixed up during the vows. 'He f***ed your name up a few times,' Dyer told the podcast. 'Obviously it's Dani Charlotte Dyer, then he called me Charlotte, didn't he?' Dani added. Advertisement 'We had to start it again! It was so funny!' Live And Let Dyers is available to listen to now on Global Player, or wherever you get your podcasts.
