Halle Bailey 'granted temporary sole custody of son' after DDG abuse allegations
Halle Bailey has reportedly been granted temporary sole physical and legal custody of her son. The 25-year-old singer and actress - who had also been granted a temporary restraining order against her ex DDG (real name Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.) - will have their 16-month-old son in her care until a June 4 court hearing after accusing the rapper of domestic abuse. According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Bailey claimed she filed for sole custody without notifying DDG because she was "afraid that the violence would reoccur" and that "the other party would take the children out of the area". It comes after the 'Little Mermaid' star was also granted a temporary retraining order. Under the temps of the protection order, DDG must stay at least 100 yards away from Bailey and their son, which includes her home and vehicle. The YouTube and Twitch star is also banned from personally contacting her, while he isn't allowed any visitation with Halo until "further order of the court". Just over six months after they announced their split, PEOPLE learned via legal documents that Bailey has accused him of various kinds of abuse. In documents obtained by the outlet, she alleged: "I realize that there is no placating Darryl. I cannot allow this abuse any longer. "Whenever he wishes to cause upset, he starts badmouthing me to his several millions of fans. "He claims I am withholding our son and that I am with other men. As a result, I then receive threats and hate on social media. He seems to try to set up drama for his fans. "He goes 'live' ranting about me and alleges that I am keeping Halo from him. This is false. I have requested a set schedule, which he refuses." The 'Color Purple' star included photographic evidence with her request, which included pictures of her bearing a chipped front tooth and a large bruise on her bicep.

Turkish authorities arrest prominent journalist for allegedly threatening Erdogan
ISTANBUL — Turkish authorities formally arrested a prominent journalist on Sunday for allegedly threatening President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, according to state media. The arrest of Fatih Altayli, whose daily commentaries on YouTube attract hundreds of thousands of viewers, comes amid a widespread crackdown on the opposition. State-run Anadolu Agency said Altayli was questioned after his detention late Saturday over a comment he made following a recent poll that showed more than 70% of the public opposed a lifetime presidency for Erdogan, who has been in power for more than two decades. On his YouTube channel, Altayli said Friday he wasn't surprised by the result of the survey and that the Turkish people preferred checks on authority. 'Look at the history of this nation. ... This is a nation which strangled its sultan when they didn't like him or want him. There are quite a few Ottoman sultans who were assassinated, strangled, or whose deaths were made to look like suicide.' An investigation was immediately launched by the Istanbul Public Prosecutors' Office. During questioning, Altayli denied threatening the president, according to Halk TV's website. Officials from municipalities controlled by the main opposition Republican People's Party have faced waves of arrests this year, including Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu, who was detained in March over allegations of corruption. Many consider the cases to be politically motivated, although Erdogan's government contends that the courts are impartial and free of political involvement.

Shilo Sanders clowns brother Shedeur over speeding ticket drama
Shilo did Shedeur dirty. The middle Sanders son poked fun at his older brother in a new video — part of his 'Tampa Food Tour' YouTube series — when he made a joke about Shedeur's recent issues with speeding in Ohio. In the clip, Shilo is crossing a street in Tampa when he takes the jab at the Browns rookie quarterback. Advertisement Getty Images 'We out here in Tampa. We gotta be careful crossing the street, especially if Shedeur is out here,' Shilo said in the clip before making himself laugh. Shilo was, of course, referencing Shedeur's recent issues with speeding tickets, which made headlines last week. Advertisement Shedeur was stopped and cited for going 101 mph, 41 miles over the posted speed limit, on June 17 in a Cleveland suburb and had been stopped two weeks before that in another stop, where he was cited for 91 mph in a 75 mph zone. A spokesperson for the Browns told that Shedeur was 'taking care of the tickets' and that the team had addressed the citations with him. Shilo Sanders Shilo Sanders/YouTube Advertisement In body cam footage during the June 17 stop, police officers commented that he had been 'cool' with them during the interaction and that they were giving a break to the woman who was also stopped with him. During the stop, Shedeur didn't initially think he was going as fast as police said he was. 'I'm like, you were 100 percent going that fast, it's all on camera, man,' one officer could be heard telling another as he sat in the police cruiser. Advertisement Shedeur, a fifth round pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, purportedly addressed the situation in a video posted on social media this week, which showed a conversation between him and teammate David Njoku's charity. 'I've made some wrong choices personally, and I can own up to them,' Shedeur said. 'I made some, you know, not great choices. … I learned.'

Allison Holker Was an ‘Almond Mom' to Daughter Weslie, 17, Throughout Her Childhood: ‘Extreme'
Allison Holker's eldest daughter, Weslie, is getting real about the 'strict' lessons her mom used to impose when it came to eating. 'My entire growing up — I say this to her all the time now — [but] she was so almond mom,' Weslie, 17, said on the Sunday, June 22, episode of their 'Between Us' podcast. 'She was like, 'You have to eat greens [and have] chicken every night.'' While Holker, 37, was unsure about the origins of the slang term 'almond mom,' she does concur that she acted that way when it came to food. 'I definitely was one with Weslie. I was very strict,' Holker said. 'I was cooking all of the time, and her lunches for school were all the organic versions of everything. Like, there were no processed snacks. Everything was, like, different types of nuts [and] I had a lot of dried fruit options.' Allison Holker Admits She and Daughter Weslie, 16, Have Dealt With 'Hard Times': 'We've Beefed' For the uninitiated, an 'almond mom' is defined as a parent who often imposes unhealthy eating habits and body image expectations onto their children. Holker, for her part, primarily raised Weslie as a single mother. (The Dancing With the Stars alum also shared son Maddox, 9, and daughter Zaia, 5, with late husband Stephen 'tWitch' Boss, who died in 2022.) 'I love a good chip [and] she would not let me eat it,' Weslie recalled on Sunday's episode. 'Now, she doesn't care! You're definitely a lot more [laid back now.]' Holker has since recalibrated her parenting when it comes to food and eating since having Maddox and Zaia. 'With Weslie, I was, like, 'OK, we're going to do this. I'm going to be a good mom.' At that moment, I thought that being a good mom meant that everything was healthy,' Holker said. 'I was researching everything that was in our kitchen, and I was really diligent about it. I think in a lot of ways it helped me, though I was a little extreme in it.' Susan Sarandon's Daughter Says She Was a 'True Almond Mom': Cheerios Were 'Junk Food' She added, 'I don't know if it was for the right reasons, but I did want to have a healthy lifestyle. I was like, 'I'm gonna be the best mom if I do this.' It was a really good choice for me because it educated me more, but then I feel everything comes with balance.' To allow for better balance in her kids' diet, Holker lets them have fast food or other snacks in moderation. 'There's a lot of healthy options in our home, but I also allow them to be children,' Holker said. 'I found a little more joy in it, too. I'm just teaching now what I'm trying to do. With Weslie, I was a little strict and now with Maddox and Zaia, I want to be a little more well-balanced.'
