"Obviously, adrenaline covers up a lot of stuff when you're in the heat of battle," Clark said on Thursday. "And after the game, I had some pain, and then we got an MRI, and that kind of gave me the result that I didn't want to see. But, you know, those types of things don't lie."

Clark shot a horrendous 1-for-10 from 3-point range and turned the ball over eight times in an 89-81 defeat to the Las Vegas Aces. She finished with 19 points and ten assists, but her shooting woes continued from the game prior - this time, going 7-for-20 from the field. Even one of her biggest fans, Dave Portnoy, admitted that the Fever guard is in need of a 'bounce back'. CC Stat line doesn't tell the story. Great couple games for Caitlin haters,' Portnoy posted on X. He also called the second half Clark played, 'As bad a half as I've seen her have.' Clark struggled in the first half, shooting 2-of-9 from the field and 1-of-5 from 3-point range, but dished eight assists while only committing two turnovers. The second half was a nightmare for her, as Clark shot 5-for-11 from the field and 0-for-5 from 3-point range while turning the ball over six times and putting up a -12 defensive rating. Portnoy continued: 'When she's off it's really hard for them to win. Turnovers. Bad shooting. The works. Lone bright spot. Aliyah [Boston] was great. Gotta bounce back.' Boston led the Fever with 26 points and ten rebounds. Aces star A'ja Wilson also struggled on the day, despite leading Las Vegas with 24 points. She shot 8-of-21 from the field. But she also had the benefit of some strong performances from Jackie Young (19 points, seven rebounds, seven assists) and Chelsea Gray (18 points on 66 percent shooting).
