Hideo Kojima throws a watch party for Death Stranding 2's launch trailer, which sounds increasingly like a short film as it features "180 shots"

Hideo Kojima has finished the final trailer for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, and he's thrown a watch party for the Kojima Productions staff.
Death Stranding 2 is just under a week away from releasing, and despite a massive 10-minute long trailer which released earlier this year and showed us a ton of the game's story and action moments (and the guy who looks like Solid Snake), we've got one last trailer coming out for the game. Kojima claimed that this trailer will be shorter than the last, and won't feature story details within it, but at the same time claimed that it will make people go, "What?!"
Kojima now says on Twitter that he has completed work on the trailer, which is set to arrive when Death Stranding 2 launches on June 26. Although considering it's one of those games that has a "pay more to play early" version launching on June 24, some players will have been exploring Death Stranding 2 for days by the time its launch trailer releases.
In celebration of the trailer being finished, Kojima Productions hosted a watch party for it. This new trailer is set to also be pretty big, as Kojima touts that it has "180 shots this time," meaning we should be seeing a lot of the game next week. Unless he meant that there were 180 shots at the Kojima Productions watch party, in which case there will be a lot of developers with sore heads in the morning. Even if he's just finished a new game, we already know about two more upcoming Hideo Kojima games still to come: OD, an upcoming horror game and Physint, a spiritual successor to Metal Gear.

At a press event in Manila for Superman , fans got to hear a longer cut of the film's theme. It's essentially a remix of John Williams' iconic Superman: The Movie score, now charged with a subtle electric guitar that adds some modern bite while still honoring the legacy of the original. We've heard small pieces of it in the trailers, but this new version gives us a fuller taste of what director James Gunn and composer John Murphy are aiming for in DC Studios' big reboot. Gunn has never been shy about his love for Richard Donner's original films and the legendary score that defined a generation. In fact, he's been upfront about making the Williams theme a cornerstone of the reboot from the start: 'I knew from the beginning what I wanted to do with the music. I thought about it a lot, 'Are we going to do something completely different? Are we going to use the [John] Williams' theme?' 'That soundtrack is one of my favorite soundtracks of all time, and when I was a kid, really... the thing I loved the most about the movie was the music. That was the thing I took home with me more than anything else." Rather than going full retro, Gunn and Murphy aimed for something that threads the needle between reverence and reinvention: 'But I knew we were doing something that was harkening back to the past but also looking forward to the future, and so it was about finding that balance. 'John Murphy is a composer who I love working with, and he started working on the music before the script was even finished... I said, 'I want to use a version of the Williams' theme, but I want to do our own version of it.' So, that's what you hear.' The decision to remix instead of reinvent may not satisfy everyone, but it's undeniably effective at evoking the feeling of classic heroism and nostalgia with a fresh coat of paint. Superman is 'set in a world very different from ours and far removed from the DCEU. Heroes have been around for ages, and we'll see how it affected this world's history and has shaped the DCU." After over 20 years, '90s Malaysian girl group Elite to hold first solo concert this September
KUALA LUMPUR, June 23 – Popular 1990s Malaysian girl group Elite are reuniting for a solo concert in conjunction with their 30th anniversary. This will be their first solo concert in over 20 years and is set to take place at Plenary Hall, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on September 20. Organised by Icon Entertainment, the Elite Live '25 concert will feature all five original members — Abby Abadi, Azza Zawari, Linda Rafar, Watie Sadali, and Sasha Saidin — taking centre stage this September. According to Linda, the decision to hold a solo concert came after the warm reception they received during the GenKRU concert at Axiata Arena in May, where the group made a surprise appearance during one of the four-day shows. 'Actually, we were a bit nervous because, as you all know, it's been quite a while since we performed live together, especially on a large scale. 'When we received the offer from Icon Entertainment, we had mixed feelings at first but eventually agreed to it. 'This was after taking into consideration that some of our songs are still favoured and relevant, and we want to party with all our fans — both old and new,' Linda said. Formed in 1995, Elite was the first act signed under KRU Records. Over five years with the label, they released several albums including Catwalk, Tamparan, Idola, Selamat Tinggal Teman, G.I.G, and Merbahaya.
