Tutu time?
The Rams cut receiver Cooper Kupp and saw Demarcus Robinson leave in free agency. Former second-round draft pick Tutu Atwell now has the opportunity to take over as the Rams' No. 3 receiver. Head coach Sean McVay believes that Atwell is "ready to ascend."
Rookie TE compared to Rams star
The Rams drafted tight end Terrance Ferguson in the second round. He is the highest-drafted tight end by the Rams ever. He was compared to one of the Rams' greats from the past, Ernie Conwell.
Rams concerned about LT Alaric Jackson
The Rams re-signed Jackson but he has blood clots in his legs for the second time. This leaves the Rams with "some question marks" about whether he will be ready to play in September. They signed former Cardinals first-round pick D.J. Humphries soon after they learned of Jackson's condition.
Karaoke in Hawaii
The Rams held their minicamp in Maui last week. Apparently, they had a little fun, which included some karaoke singing.
Stafford can move up all-time lists
Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is 10th all-time in both career passing yards and career touchdown passes. By the end of 2025, he could move up three spots in passing yards and, with a special season, two in touchdown passes.

ESPN ranks four Ohio State football players among top 5 of 2026 NFL draft position group

The 2026 NFL draft still feels like light years away. Heck, we haven't even started fall training camp for the 2025 college football season yet. However, there are those out there who live, breathe, and eat NFL draft news, so it's a year-round consumption for some. And, yes -- there are those that cover the draft all year long, so there seems to always be something to look at. At a place like Ohio State, having players go (usually high) in the draft is the norm rather than the exception, and that figures to be the case again in 2026, though seeing a whopping 14 players won't happen like it did last April. Still, there are some NFL draft hopefuls wearing the Scarlet and Gray that figure to be some of the best at their position groups, and ESPN's Matt Miller and Jordan Reid took turns trying to identify them -- as we sit here in late June -- about ten months from the annual spectacle taking place in Pittsburgh. Here's a look at the four players the ESPN duo believes could be in the top five at their position, and what they say about each. Remember, it's still very early in this process, and how each performs during the coming campaign, where things go with injuries, and off-the-field things will all play into how this all changes. Wide Receiver, Carnell Tate Where Miller has Tate: No. 5 Where Reid has Tate: No. 4 Ohio State has had four straight NFL drafts where a receiver has been taken in the first round. Tate has the skill and work ethic to make it five-straight years, but to do it, he'll have to get enough targets and show big play ability despite playing second-fiddle to all-everything Jeremiah Smith. Max Klare, Tight End Where Miller has Tate: No. 4 Where Reid has Tate: No. 3 Klare is going to add another dimension to the passing game this year. The traditional receivers on the outside are already the best in college football. What will teams do with Klare singled up on a linebacker or safety as an outlet valve or underneath option? Ohio State is getting a known commodity here, and there's a good chance he rises to the top tight end in the country once inserted into the offense in Columbus. Sonny Styles, Linebacker Where Miller has Tate: Not Ranked Where Reid has Tate: No. 5 While it's great to see Styles at least ranked in the top five by Reid, it's quite possible folks are overlooking Styles. He's an athletic freak who's still figuring out the linebacker position and started to really show his playmaking ability last season. He can cover in space, is fast, diagnoses plays well, yet can come up and hit like a hammer. Look for a major breakout year from him and a rise up the draft boards. Caleb Downs, Safety Where Miller has Tate: No. 1 Where Reid has Tate: No. 1 No surprise here. Downs is widely known as the best safety in college football and could very well be the best defender -- even perhaps overall player -- in the game. He has unbelievable athleticism and instincts and is a true leader on and off the field. He's versatile and determined to be great. Someone is going to be happy to take him off the board in the first round next year. Last season the 12-5 Baltimore Ravens featured one of the most complete rosters in football on both sides of the ball. Although their season was cut short in heartbreaking fashion in the AFC Divisional Round, they have all the right reasons to believe another deep run - possibly further - could be in the cards in 2025. Because of this, general manager Eric DeCosta has pulled out all the stops in free agency to fill the team with as many high-caliber veterans as possible in hopes of finally putting the puzzle together. Earlier in the offseason, the Ravens signed star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, one of the game's most accomplished pass-catchers and a consummate professional in the locker room. D-Hop joins exciting young receivers Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman to form a trio that could compete with the likes of the best receiving corps in franchise history. And it doesn't hurt when a two-time MVP in Lamar Jackson is throwing them the ball. At minicamp, some Ravens teammates mentioned their observations from the brief time they've had with Hopkins and how he has gelled with the organization. "I like 'D-Hop'. I've gotten to have some conversations with him. He is 'Mr. Contested Catch.' That is for sure," said cornerback Marlon Humphrey. "Just having a conversation with him, I thought it was really humbling. Advertisement "We asked him, me and one of the strength coaches, 'What do you think about the team from the outside looking in since you've been on other teams?' And he said, 'It seems like there's been a piece that's been missing. I could be that addition. I could not be that addition.'" Hopkins, 33, may recognize that he's on the downward slope of his career. He enters Year 13 in the NFL a part of his third team in three years. The former All-Pro was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs midway through last season. He wasn't able to be the missing piece for Patrick Mahomes & Co., but the Ravens still believe he is capable of that role in Baltimore. With a 1,000-yard season as recent as 2023, the capability is still there. On Baltimore, however, he'll likely fill a role as a complementary piece around the Ravens' stellar run game and loaded arsenal of pass targets. Advertisement It sounds like Hopkins has humbly taken ownership of this position as he does everything he can to contribute to what would be his first Super Bowl win. "To hear a veteran guy, All-Pro guy and Pro Bowl guy say he could be, or he could not be [the piece that's missing], to me, that was extremely humbling.
