Stevie Nicks sends fans into meltdown as she makes major performance announcement

Daily Mail6 days ago

Stevie Nicks is giving her fans what they've been waiting for and is extending her tour schedule.
The Grammy winning Fleetwood Mac icon, 77, who revealed she is working on her first album in 14 years, announced eight new dates on Monday, sending her fans into a meltdown.
'New shows just added! ✨ Hope to see you out there. Love, Stevie,' she wrote, sharing a poster with the new dates.
She revealed that 'Presales begin Wednesday, June 18 at 10am local,' while 'General on sale starts Friday, June 20 at 10am local,' and referred fans to her website stevienicksofficial.com/tour.
'Oct 25th date,' wrote one fan referring to the newly scheduled show in Hartford, CT, adding, 'oh stevieween is calling to me.'
'See you all in Ohio! ❤️; commented a fan looking forward to the August 27 show in Cincinnati.
'PRETTY PRETTY PLEASE PLAY SILVER SPRINGS FOR TAMPA!! I'm going with my mom and this is our dream + silver springs is my absolute favorite song ever,' pleaded another fan.
'Never thought about ✨ this being a Gold dust twinkle ✨ but it totally is!! ❤️,' stated a devoted listener who seemed to be referring to the popular Fleetwood Mac song Gold Dust Woman.
Ticket seller Live Nation quickly put together a spot advertising the news shows, which Nicks shared in her Instagram Stories.
Still, the newly announced dates only made diehard fans ask for more.
'We need you in New Orleans Stevie!' and 'Please girl Chicago love you,' were requests from ardent fans.
'Please remember your Brazilian fans at least once, wrote a South American fan, 'We dreamed of this and have been with you for so long,' was a common theme, along with requests for shows in Mexico and Chile.
Others suggested the two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee put Dublin, the UK and Australia on the list as well.
Nicks had been touring stadiums with Billy Joel until the Piano Man had to cancel the tour indefinitely due to his being diagnosed with a brain disorder caused by a build of spinal fluid affecting his balance.
In September 2024, the prolific singer/songwriter released The Lighthouse, her first new music in five years.
The hitmaker performed the song, considered by many as a women's rights anthem on the 50th anniversary broadcast of Saturday Night Live earlier this year.
In an interview with Rolling Stone published in October, the legendary rocker jokingly predicted 'I'll probably live to be hatefully 95 years old.'
'I have no want to be that old, honestly. I mean, I'll have an electric scooter, and I will be raging and I will keep dancing.'

Alejandro Garnacho sparks anger among fans as he posts picture wearing fellow Man United exile Marcus Rashford's Aston Villa shirt in apparent dig at Ruben Amorim

Alejandro Garnacho has angered Manchester United supporters with a controversial post on Instagram. Garnacho shared snaps from his holiday to Ibiza which included a picture of him wearing Marcus Rashford's Aston Villa shirt. Rashford, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Villa, is set to be exiled from United's tour of the USA along with Garnacho, Antony and Jadon Sancho. Having fallen out of favour under Ruben Amorim, the quartet are set to train alone at Carrington if they are unable to find new clubs by the time the tour starts in July. Rashford showed his support for Garnacho as he commented: 'My brother' along with a heart emoji. However, many United fans certainly weren't pleased with Garnacho's post and the fact that he was wearing the shirt of a rival Premier League club. One fan wrote: 'Villa shirt? C'mon mate, get a grip'. Meanwhile, another stated: 'Really? Wearing a Villa shirt'. One supporter suggested that Garnacho and Rashford should both leave United. They wrote: 'Off you go with him. This is the reason you're no longer wanted by Amorim, your attitude. See ya'. Another fan claimed that Garnacho's decision to wear a Villa shirt was 'madness'. They wrote: 'To wear another Premier club's top is madness and proves you clearly are not mentally ready for the next level'. Furthermore, another fan stated that Rashford had lost the respect of supporters as they wrote: 'You've lost the respect of majority of United fans especially those that have backed you'. In addition, another added: 'There's a line and you just crossed it'. In other pictures Garnacho can be seen drinking with friends and relaxing in a swimming pool. Garnacho has played 144 games for United and has scored 26 goals but his future appears to lie away from the club.

Lindsay Lohan shares glimpse of son Luai in sweet snaps... after revealing she wanted to give him a sibling

Lindsay Lohan shared several snaps on Instagram of herself, her husband Bader Shammas and their two-year-old son Luai. In the first snap, the Freakier Friday star, 38, wore a black top and gazed at the sky. The other photos featured her husband and son including a cute snap of Lindsay and Luai's legs and feet in the grass. The Irish Wish actress wore the viral Alaïa net Mary Janes while Luai wore darling tiny white Nikes. She captioned the photos, 'Sunshine, smiles, and family time! summer is sweeter together making memories.' Fans went wild in the comments, remarking on her beauty and just how happy and peaceful she looks. One fan said 'This is what HEALED looks like,' which is very apt for where the Herbie: Fully Loaded star is today. It comes after Lindsay said she wanted to give her toddler son a sibling to play with. 'I feel like we live in a different world now, where women make it such a point, especially in motherhood, to make time for ourselves. We make it important. But also, once you have one kid, you're like, 'Oh, my kid needs a kid to play with.'' Lindsay told SNL star Chloe Fineman for an interview with Elle. 'Is that where you are right now?' Chloe, 36, asked Lindsay. 'I'm like, 'He needs a friend,"' Lindsay added. Lindsay also wants multiple children to care for her once she gets older. 'I don't know if it's selfish—but I'm like, "I need more than one kid to take care of me when I'm older,"' the Herbie Fully Loaded star said. The Irish Wish actress and her husband met at a dinner with mutual friends in Dubai back in 2019 and said 'I do' two years later in 2021. The couple confirmed the arrival of their son Luai in July 2023 though did not provide an exact birth date. Lohan is no stranger to high-profile romances, going back to the early 2000s with Wilmer Valderrama, Hard Rock Cafe heir Harry Morton and Samantha Ronson. She started dating Shammas, a financier for Credit Suisse, in 2019, though their relationship was largely off-the-radar until they announced their engagement in November 2021. 'My love. My life. My family. My future,' she shared on Instagram at the time, along with snaps of the happy couple as she showed off her engagement ring. The actress' reps confirmed that the couple had been dating for three years, adding she was, 'engaged and happy.' The couple didn't publicly confirm the nuptials until July 2022, with Lohan gushing, 'I am the luckiest woman in the world. You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time.' She added: 'I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. every woman should feel like this everyday.' While Lohan didn't confirm a wedding date at the time, the actress took to her Instagram story on April 3, 2025, to celebrate the couple's third anniversary. She shared a snap of her husband and their son Luai, who they welcomed in July 2023 in Dubai. 'Happy Anniversary to my one and only. My forever and ever. I love you,' she captioned the anniversary snap.
