GA native Demaryius Thomas will be posthumously inducted in Broncos Ring of Fame
The Denver Broncos announced Tuesday that the late Demaryius Thomas will be inducted posthumously in their Ring of Fame this season.
Thomas, who grew up in Georgia and was drafted out of Georgia Tech, died at his Roswell home in December 2021.

The Broncos will honor Thomas during halftime of their Week 7 game against the New York Giants on Oct. 19.

Thomas grew up in Laurens County, where he played high school football at West Laurens High School.
He later signed to play college football at Georgia Tech, where he is remembered as one of the best players in program history.
The Broncos drafted the wide receiver with the No. 22 overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.
He spent eight seasons in Denver, including Super Bowl L championship team.
Thomas finished his career with the Houston Texas, New England Patriots and New York Jets before he announced his retirement in the summer of 2021.
He died less than six months later from a seizure disorder complication, according to the Fulton County medical examiner.

Thomas' parents later confirmed that he also suffered from Stage 2 CTE at time of his death.

On Saturday, the Arizona native revealed his commitment date, slated for Wednesday, June 25, as he will choose between Ohio State, Florida State, Texas, Washington, and Texas A&M. Thomas has yet to receive an official prediction to land with any of the five programs listed, but it's safe to say that after official visits to Ohio State, Florida State, and now Texas A&M, all three are considered potential landing spots. According to 247Sports, Thomas is currently positioned as the 50th-ranked offensive tackle and the 8th-ranked prospect in Arizona. Broncos expected to host fewer fans at training camp during construction
The Denver Broncos are busy building a new world-class facility with hopes of having it completed in 2026. The construction won't interrupt the team's football activities, but it will impact fans this summer. The Broncos had a training camp capacity limit of 3,000 fans last year, but that number will likely be lower in 2025. The team is considering temporary bleachers for this summer's practices with a capacity set below 1,000 fans. Advertisement 'We're coming up with a good plan," team owner and CEO Greg Penner said in March. "We want to be in our facility for training camp, given [that] it's a great place. Teams actually like coming to us for joint practices. It's not going to be perfect this year. We'll probably come up with something where we could accommodate 800-900 fans in some temporary bleachers. We'll have it open. "I don't know the exact number, but we'll have a number of practices that are open to fans, and we'll accommodate them. We really want to make that happen. Again, the intent is for this to only be one training camp where it really affects us.' Last year, Denver announced its training camp schedule in late June with practices beginning in late July and running through mid-August. After wrapping up organized team activities, the Denver Broncos are now on a summer break leading up to training camp. The team's practice sessions are expected to begin in late July, but the schedule has not been announced yet. So, when can we expect Denver to announce its training camp schedule? The Broncos had a modified training camp schedule in 2020 due to COVID-19, and the team's camp schedule wasn't announced until July 1 in 2021. Since then, the schedule has been announced in mid-to-late June.
