Prince Harry to reach out to Prince William, King Charles about special UK invitation
Prince Harry will be inviting his estranged family members to the 2027 Invictus Games in hope of a royal reconciliation, according to a report.
The Duke of Sussex, 40, is set to extend an invitation to King Charles and Prince William to the ceremony, which is slated to take place in Birmingham in July that year.
Insiders say the 'Spare' author will be emailing invitations to Buckingham Palace this month, which will later be followed by formal invitations nearer the time.

Harry is believed to have approved the royal guest list and the wording of the invitations already.
'Harry has agreed that Invictus should extend an invitation to his family,' a source told the Daily Mail.
'The Royals have always been hugely supportive of Invictus and proud of what Harry has achieved in that arena. This is one olive branch from him that might be reciprocated.'
However, the royals will have a tricky decision to make.
The Games will open on July 12, 2027 and conclude on July 17 — which coincides with Queen Camilla's 80th birthday.

Celebration planning is already underway for the royal event, so it's unclear whether the royals will opt to decline Harry's invitation.
It's said that the invites represent the first time the duke has publicly reached out to his family since the royal rift began more than five years ago.
The Post has reached out to Harry's reps for comment.
It remains to be seen whether Harry's wife, Meghan Markle, and their children Archie and Lilibet will be coming to the UK for the event, as the royal had previously insisted this was not an option without 'full police protection' — for which he lost his appeal earlier this year.

If the 'Suits' alum, 43, opts not to return to her husband's homeland, it will mark the first Invictus Games she has missed since meeting him.
As the topic of a royal reconciliation re-enters the fold, some royal commentators have highlighted the challenges that remain in building bridges, such as a lack of trust.
'The King might attend to show support for the Armed Forces and congratulate Harry on the most significant success in his life,' royal author Ingrid Seward told the outlet.
'The only reason the King is wary of associating with his son is that he no longer trusts him not to repeat their private conversations as he has done in the past. This goes for all the working members of the family.'
Meanwhile, royal commentator Katie Nicholl said, 'The King absolutely wants a relationship with his youngest son and with his grandchildren.'
'He has an incredible capacity for forgiveness and he wants to be magnanimous in all of this and therefore there's certainly a possibility that the King might consider attending Invictus,' she added.

Harry last month told the BBC that he is willing to move on from the disagreements that have marred the Royal household since he and wife Meghan Markle's departure because he doesn't 'know how much longer' his father, who is battling cancer, has left.
'There's no point in continuing to fight any more,' he said. 'Life is precious. Forgiveness is 100% a possibility because I would like to get my father and brother back.'

Jay-Z disses Kanye West with lyric change during first performance with Beyoncé in over 6 years
Revenge is best served in music. Jay-Z dissed his former friend Kanye West while joining Beyoncé on stage during her 'Cowboy Carter' show in Paris on Sunday. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's children will have no royal roles under Prince William's reign: insiders
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, will have no royal roles once William ascends to the throne, according to insiders. The Prince of Wales, 43, has been planning his ascension to the throne since becoming heir following his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II's death in Sept. 2022. The future king, who has long championed a leaner monarchy, is reportedly crafting his own blueprint for the next generation of working royals. 5 Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's children, Prince Archie and Princess lilibet, will have no royal roles once William ascends to the throne, according to insiders. meghan/Instagram As a huge question mark looms over the Sussex camp's involvement in the monarchy once William becomes King, sources say that Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, will be outcasts to the royal fold under his reign. 'What has struck me the most recently is that he just doesn't mention it at all,' an insider told The Times of London of William's attitude toward his estranged brother, the Duke of Sussex, 40. 'It used to be that the family stuff was taking up a lot of space in his head, it was a very close relationship and he was very upset.' 'But he's not letting it get to him at all any more. It is a change. It's sad, but it's a much healthier space for him to be at,' the source added. 5 The Prince of Wales, 43, has been planning his ascension to the throne since becoming heir. WireImage The insider added that despite the 'anger' he once felt toward his brother following the release of 'Spare' in 2023, he is now 'indifferent' toward the rift. The Post has reached out to Kensington Palace for comment. It's been widely reported that the Invictus Games founder wants his children to retain their HRH titles, allowing them the freedom to decide in the future whether to return to royal duties or continue building their lives in the US. 5 The future king, who has long championed a leaner monarchy, is reportedly crafting his own blueprint for the next generation of working royals. Andrew Parsons / Kensington Palace Still, it appears as though the future king maintains a similar stance to some fellow Brits, who last month told The Post in exasperation that 'enough is enough' — and demanded that the Sussexes be stripped of their royal titles. According to the report, the same goes for scandal-scarred Prince Andrew, whom William sees as a 'risk' and 'threat' to the Firm. Both Charles and William are said to be keen to limit Andrew's public appearances with the rest of the royals. 5 According to the report, the same goes for scandal-scarred Prince Andrew, whom William sees as a 'risk' and 'threat' to the Firm. Getty Images When Andrew stepped down as a working royal shortly after his friendship with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein came to light, he was kept at arm's length by Charles and the rest of the Windsor clan. William has previously signaled that he is carving out his own path as the future monarch. 'I'm trying to do it differently and I'm trying to do it for my generation … I'm doing it with maybe a smaller 'r' in the royal, if you like,' he said last year during a four-day trip to Cape Town for the Earthshot awards. 'So it's more about impact, philanthropy, collaboration, convening and helping people. I'm also going to throw empathy in there as well because I really care about what I do.' 5 It's been widely reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex want Archie and Lilibet to retain their HRH titles. Getty Images 'It helps impact people's lives and I think we could do with some more empathetic leadership around the world,' the prince added. Experts believe William may be forced to reconsider his plans for a slimmed-down monarchy, given the absence of his estranged brother, Prince Harry.

Kevin Costner's Friends Allegedly Boycotting His Ex's Wedding
Time to revisit Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner's somewhat messy split. As a reminder, Ciristine filed for divorce from Kevin in 2023 after nearly 19 years of marriage, and made headlines when she initially wanted over $150k a month in child support. But their divorce has since been settled (she ended up getting $63,000 a month), and Christine is officially moving on! By which I mean she's getting married to Josh Connor—a former "close friend" of Kevin's—in Hawaii. And according to the Daily Mail, a few of Kevin and Christine's former friends are boycotting. "Kevin's true friends immediately cut off Christine and Josh and would never attend their wedding, even if invited," a source told the outlet. "Their loyalty to Kevin is solid." The source added that "In the end, Christine walked away with much less than she expected, receiving a $1.6 million settlement and reduced child support. Kevin is just happy that she has found someone who can support her expensive lifestyle because she wouldn't be able to afford this wedding on her own." In other news, Kevin has recently been linked to Jewel, but shut down speculation on The Howard Stern Show, saying "Jewel and I are friends. We've never gone out ever. She's special, and I don't want – I don't want these rumors to ruin our friendship because that's what we have. She's special to me. She's beautiful enough to go out with."
