Emmerdale's Bear Wolf in dramatic new storyline as Lisa Riley reveals shock developments for the Dingles

EMMERDALE'S Bear Wolf will find himself in a dramatic new storyline, Lisa Riley has revealed. In recent episodes of the hit ITV show, Lisa's character Mandy Dingle and partner Paddy, played by Dominic Brunt, have been voicing their concerns about Paddy's dad, Bear. 4 4 4 The couple have tried to help him - from arranging a doctor's appointment to giving him an old motorbike to restore, but he simply puts his strange behaviour down to 'being a pain in the bum.' Now, after an incident at the garage that saw Bear getting very frustrated with the bike, and an altercation with Kammy Hadiq, Emmerdale fans have begun to question whether Bear has a secret health condition. Dropping some hints about the storyline, Lisa Riley, 48, spoke to The Sun and said: 'Whatever's going on with Bear, it'll bring Mandy and Paddy closer together. 'Next week, people are going to see Paddy and Mandy getting their new home and it's all very exciting. And as new homeowners, they want to take advantage of it because they love each other and can't keep their hands off each other. 'It's their passion pad. They like to call it Paddy Towers. But Paddy is also very aware about mental health issues, so what does that mean for Bear moving forward? 'Is he a grumpy old man? Is he suffering from mental health issues? Will he have something severe as we go on? Of course, it's going to go off.' The talented actress, who will celebrate a huge 30 years on the show next month, also spoke about the Dingles and serial killer John Sugden being part of the family. 'Mandy loves John. She's very flirty with him, and she thinks he's great for Aaron. Lisa Riley opens up on the grief of losing her mum 'She thinks that he'll look after Aaron, yeah, and obviously with the viewers, it's so hilarious, honestly. 'When I'm in Waitrose, people go, 'Mandy, Mandy, be careful of that John' and I'm going, 'yeah, OK,' but how do you say it in a non-patronising way? 'I know as a viewer, but obviously Mandy loves him and doesn't see anything wrong with him and has no idea. And if Mandy does find out in so many months to come, oh God help him. 'I mean, her brick would come out - she has a brick in her bag, and you'd see the crazy side of Mandy if she had any inkling that John had something to do with Nate's death.' Lisa added: 'She's the Queen of the family, and you don't cross the Queen.' Away from her life portraying Mandy Dingle on hit soap Emmerdale, Lisa has been supporting Sue Ryder with their latest campaign. Lisa was incredibly close to her mum Cath, but sadly lost her to cancer in 2012. Now, Lisa has joined forces with their Back for a Moment campaign, to help bereaved people get the support they need. And in doing so, the star chatted to The Sun about her mum, and how she sometimes finds herself hiding behind her character Mandy, to disguise the pain of losing her. But Lisa says it's her Emmerdale cast mates who get her through those tougher times. She said: 'On the tough days, I do think Mandy Dingle has been a great person to hide behind. I do hide behind the bravado. 'Because there are some days where you want to sort of roll over on your pillow and cry. But I am so grateful to do what I love, and I am very lucky. 'I am guilty of pressing the bravado button, but I have my wonderful co-stars around me, including Dom - who plays Paddy - and the incredible Bradley Johnson, who plays my son. 'We're all so in tune with each other, they've got my back and I've got theirs, and honestly we're so lucky we do, because sometimes I watch my scenes back and think 'if only people knew what was really going on in my head.'' But the star said she recognises that, for some people, it's hard to find others to turn to when losing someone, especially as 88% of bereaved people feel alone in their grief. Lisa continued: 'There are thousands of people who need to know that Sue Ryder is there, and that they don't have to be by themselves. 'My dad was a bit in denial when my mum died, and that is what the campaign is there for.' Sue Ryder offers a range of free grief support, including an online bereavement community and in-person Grief Kind Spaces. Search 'Grief Deserves Better' or visit this website 4

Love Island first look with major shake-up as four new bombshells rock the villa

ITV producers shocked viewers with a surprise recoupling on last night's Love Island - here's your first look at the fall out from the unexpected twist. Last night's episode of Love Island saw a game of spin the bottle cause even more tension in the villa, as the Islanders found themselves switching partners, left, right and centre as they faced a series of truths and dares. The true highlight of the game came when Megan and Conor admitted they had unfinished business, catching their current partners Tommy and Emily off guard and leaving the rest of the villa stunned by the revelation. ‌ The show ended with a dramatic cliffhanger, as a text came in revealing there would be a recoupling - this time with the girls holding the power. However, there are an even amount of girls and boys in the villa, which has cause many viewers to speculate what brutal twist ITV have in store for the Islanders. ‌ While we wait for the fall out from the recoupling, here is your sneak peek into tonight's episode of Love Island... The show begins as the girls give their recouping speeches, some decisions coming easily while some of the girls are left re-evaluating their connections. While a few couples remain solid, other seem ready to explore new connections. Following the recoupling, Conor and Emily head to the sundeck for a chat about where they stand. Conor admits: "I'm still confused as to what you want to do because you came to me and said you want to take a step back." Emily responds: 'I just wanna know where your head is at, I feel like your words say one thing and actions say another, you are my priority…I just want some reassurance.' Conor is still weighing out his options, as he tells her: "I'm still figuring out where my head is at I'm getting to know two people." ‌ Meanwhile, Helena is keen to tell Harry how she really feels, saying: "I know we said yesterday we'd be friends but I can't be your mate in here, you've not even apologised for anything that you've done…I can't make sense of the situation…" After apologising, Harry tells her: "I thought it was too good, I've done it in the past where I self-sabotage…I'm 30 years old I get it, I'm not making excuses…' ‌ Helena admits: 'It's done now, you can't go back on it…I can't really be around you right now'. Dejon then comforts Harry at the fire pit, revealing he hopes Harry and Helena can make it work, saying: "I'm gonna pray tonight and hope there's a miracle you two can get back together'. Harry gets emotional, before telling him: "There ain't no me and Helena…I've got to forget about it for now'. ‌ Is it time for Harry to focus on Shakira? The next day Megan adds another layer to the dynamic, interrupting Emily and Conor to pull him for a private chat on the sundeck. "Right, I need to ask how the f**k is things with Em, what the f**k is going on there?" she bluntly asks. ‌ Conor replies: "Obviously I'm buzzing that you're saying I would be someone you couple up with if you weren't in a couple now…Emily would be number one but as we speak a bit more, you're getting closer to the top." Megan doesn't hold back, revealing: "I do think you're more sexual than Tommy…you're very vocal about what you wanted…the fact you came and pulled me in front of Emily, that was ballsy." ‌ When Megan presses Conor on who he'd choose in a recoupling, his answer catches her off guard. Meanwhile, Emily and Tommy are having their own conversation. She opens up, saying: if he [Conor] wants me to like someone else so he can grab me back…that doesn't work for me , if you push me away I'm gone." Tommy is honest in return, telling her: "On boys night, when you walked in that feeling I got, physical attraction, I got that from you…" ‌ Emily agrees, saying: "100%, I'm open to having more chats and seeing if there could be something there…" Tommy later debriefs with Dejon and Harry. Dejon tells him: "He [Conor] should of had a conversation with you to let you know he wants to pursue things with Megan." ‌ Tommy admits: "Megan's my number one by quite a lot." Dejon encourages him, saying: "I feel like you owe it to yourself, cause of where you are to explore other options…if i had a daughter I would be buzzing if she was with someone like you." With Conor and Megan's chats continuing, looks like Tommy and Emily are exploring their own connection… ‌ Elsewhere, Harrison and Shakira chat on the daybeds, as she presses if his head is with Toni or Helena, saying: "My only concern is if you don't like Toni, I don't want you to lead her down the garden path, but I actually think you two get along." Harrison admits: "The thing with me, I'm so indecisive, I'll come away from a chat thinking Helena was the best chat…I have a chat with someone else and I'll be like ok she was the best chat." Shakira challenges him: "So what are you actually looking for?" ‌ Just as the drama couldn't get more intense, a shock text hits the villa. One Islander receives the news that a car is waiting outside - and four islanders must leave the Villa immediately. Unbeknown to the group, at a second villa four new bombshells - Caprice, Giorgio, Poppy and Will - have chosen their top Islanders and are stealing them away for the evening. Which Islanders are heading out and how will the villa react to the surprise twist?
