While life in the spotlight may beget attention, there are some boundaries that shouldn't be breached.
According to South Korean media reports, a Chinese woman in her 30s was caught attempting to break into Jungkook's home at 11.20pm (10.20pm SGT) last night (June 11).
The woman was found repeatedly attempting to key in the door access code to the 27-year-old BTS star's apartment in Yongsan District, Seoul. A local resident called the police after noticing her suspicious behaviour.
It was reported that the woman told officers she had travelled to South Korea to see Jungkook upon his military discharge. Investigations are ongoing to uncover the circumstances of the incident.
Jungkook completed his mandatory military service yesterday morning, having enlisted alongside fellow member Jimin in the 5th Infantry Division Artillery Brigade in December 2023. Mastermind was closer than she imagined
Thai actress Kornnaphat Sethratanapong, also called Orm, has been a victim of obsessive fans for a while. Earlier this January, her agency Channel 3 issued a statement confirming that people had been stalking the 23-year-old to private locations, posing a risk to her safety.
The harassment persisted and it was discovered recently that her chauffeur had a part to play in the crime.
According to a report by Bangkok Post yesterday, Orm's chauffeur accepted money from fans in exchange for information about her whereabouts and personal schedule. The fans would follow and stalk her to her home, taking pictures of her car and license plates as well.
Orm uncovered her chauffeur's involvement when she was helping him use the GPS on a new phone, which led to her discovering chat messages on Line that revealed a stalking network. He claimed that his actions were done out of concern for Orm, which her family shot down as an excuse.

In a group chat, the involved fans exchanged information and coordinated their stalking activities, including going to Orm's home and trying to reach out to her mother. Some even booked plane tickets to sit near Orm on long flights.
Five fans were reportedly arrested, with more to be apprehended as there is a larger group of stalkers including both Thai and foreign nationals. Orm's chauffeur has since been fired and legal action will be pursued.
Orm is known for starring in the Thai girls' love series The Secret of Us (2024), alongside Thai-Hong Kong actress Sirilak "Lingling" Kwong. The duo will be holding their first fanmeet Ling & Orm in Singapore on June 14 at the Arena @ Expo.

Thailand targets Cambodian scam centres as border dispute rages

Ms Paetongtarn said Bangkok will restrict border crossings to Cambodia across seven provinces, and halt exports of goods including fuel. PHOTO: REUTERS BANGKOK – Thailand announced a raft of security and trade measures to cripple transnational crime syndicates in Cambodia, as Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra seeks an upper hand in a simmering border dispute with its neighbour. Bangkok will restrict border crossings to Cambodia across seven provinces, and halt exports of goods including fuel that abet transnational criminal activities, Ms Paetongtarn told reporters on June 23 after chairing a meeting of officials and security agencies. Bangkok will coordinate its efforts with foreign governments and international organisations to dismantle the criminal hub that's estimated to generate more than 600 billion baht (S$23.53 billion) a year, she said. The crackdown comes in the wake of a political crisis triggered by Ms Paetongtarn's comments in a leaked phone call with former Cambodian leader Hun Sen, which caused a key party to quit her coalition, reducing its majority in Parliament. She has since vowed to deal more firmly with Cambodia in the border stand-off. The border row has escalated, with the two countries curbing trade and people's mobility in tit-for-tat moves since an exchange of gunfire between troops in May. Cambodia suspended imports of Thai fuel and gas from June 23 after the Thai army closed one of the border crossings. The measures targeting scam centres follow similar efforts earlier in 2025, when Thailand cut off electricity, internet access and fuel supplies to some areas in Myanmar suspected to house cyber scam operations. Thailand and Cambodia had also jointly dismantled a scam centre that housed hundreds of trafficked foreign workers in casino city Poipet. Across South-east Asia, the billion-dollar cyber scam operations have been expanding, particularly in Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar. They are often run by Chinese fugitives who fled their home nation in 2020 following a domestic crackdown. Earlier in 2025, thousands of workers were rescued from scam centres in Myanmar in a multinational crackdown that also included China. 'The criminal networks in Myanmar have resettled in Cambodia, so we need tighter measures to prevent Thais being scammed in the future,' Ms Paetongtarn said. As part of the crackdown, Thailand will ban foreign tourists from crossing over to Cambodia and curb air travel to Siem Reap for gambling purposes, Ms Paetongtarn said. Thai law enforcement agencies will ramp up inspection of so-called mule accounts and financial transactions of call centre gangs, and suspend all internet services and undersea internet gateways used by Cambodia's military and security agencies. Thailand will also impose sanctions on transnational criminals with money-laundering activities and seize or freeze their assets transferred abroad, according to Ms Paetongtarn. Edison Chen's management clarifies actor's heated exchange with flight attendant

Actor Edison Chen was left confused after realising that both him and the other passenger held the same Diamond status, said his management. PHOTO: EDISONCHEN/INSTAGRAM Hong Kong artiste Edison Chen has found himself facing unwanted publicity after reports emerged that he was involved in an alleged dispute with a flight attendant during a recent commercial flight from Tokyo to New York. According to Hong Kong entertainment site Dimsum Daily, the incident reportedly stemmed from a disagreement over disembarkation procedures, with the 44-year-old star allegedly telling the crew member: 'Bring your complaint letter. I will get you fired.' Chen's management, however, has since clarified the matter, explaining that after the plane had landed, the Infernal Affairs (2002) actor was retrieving his luggage when a passenger behind him began moving forward. Chen reportedly said politely: 'Could I please finish collecting my belongings first?' According to his management, a flight attendant then intervened, saying that the other passenger could disembark first as he held the airline's Diamond status. Chen, who is said to hold the same status, was left confused, prompting the misunderstanding. Chen was previously embroiled in a sex scandal in 2008 after photos of him engaging in intimate acts with Hong Kong artistes such as Cecilia Cheung and Gillian Chung were leaked online. The scandal resulted in him leaving the entertainment industry for 16 years, before he returned to perform as part of the music group 3Cornerz at pop culture carnival ComplexCon Hong Kong in 2024. Chen has been married to Chinese supermodel Qin Shupei since 2007, and they have an eight-year-old daughter Alaia. His management added that Chen is currently in communication with the airline to resolve the matter. ‘I will get you fired': Edison Chen's alleged threat to Japan Airlines attendant

Hong Kong star Edison Chen had reportedly told a flight attendant that he would make her lose her job. PHOTO: EDISONCHEN/INSTAGRAM 'I will get you fired': Edison Chen's alleged threat to Japan Airlines attendant Hong Kong artiste Edison Chen allegedly threatened to make a flight attendant lose her job while on a flight between Tokyo and New York on June 1. On the Japan Airlines (JAL) flight, the attendant had reportedly allowed another Japanese passenger to disembark before Chen, leading him to retort: 'Why do you want me to move for this man while I'm getting my bag? Because he's a VIP. I'm sorry, can you read (the boarding pass) again? Tell me what that says. Well, is there something about diamond (class)?' According to a Xiaohongshu user who uploaded his account of the incident on social media, Chen was retrieving his baggage from the overhead compartment when passengers hurried him forward. The female flight attendant then reportedly told Chen that the Japanese passenger was a 'JMB Diamond member' who would be entitled to priority disembarkation, ahead of him. JMB Diamond, which Chen also holds, is the highest membership tier in JAL's FLY ON programme. The Dead Or Alive 2: Birds (2000) actor reportedly demanded a complaint form and said that he would make sure the flight attendant loses her job. Hong Kong online media Dimsum Daily reported that Chen's manager is currently in talks with Chen and JAL to address the incident.
