One of the hottest names in the college basketball transfer portal is drawing interest from the Kentucky Wildcats.
North Dakota guard Treysen Eaglestaff will be transferring, and according to Joe Tipton of On3, Kentucky is showing interest in the high-scoring standout.

Alabama, Michigan, St. John's, Kansas, LSU, Gonzaga, UCLA, Ole Miss, Georgia, and Oklahoma are among the many other schools that've expressed interest.
Eaglestaff is also expected to test the NBA Draft waters. KSR's Jacob Polacheck previously reported that Kentucky was expected to show interest.
The 6-foot-6, 190-pound Eaglestaff averaged 18.9 points (35.9% from deep), 2.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game.
Eaglestaff first turned heads back in December when North Dakota hosted Alabama and North Dakota native Grant Nelson. Eaglestaff had 40 on the Crimson Tide, and the Hawks came this close to pulling the upset of the season on the top-five Tide.

He also scored 51 in a Summit League Conference Tournament win over South Dakota State.
There will be competition, obviously, for Eaglestaff as he will be one of the most coveted scorers to enter the portal this offseason, and with Alabama getting a first-hand look at him, you have to think Nate Oats and the Tide will be players in his recruitment.

Four-star WR Devin Carter stands firm in commitment to Auburn football

Recruiting noise surrounding the Auburn Tigers has been at a minimum lately as the program has landed just one commitment since April, and recently lost a four-star linebacker that caused their ranking to plummet. However, Auburn fans received good news this weekend as one of its top pledges to its 2026 class reaffirmed his commitment to the program following his recent official visit. Devin Carter, a four-star wide receiver from Douglasville, Georgia, and an Auburn pledge since January, took his official visit to the Plains over the weekend, where he told reporters such as Jeffrey Lee of Auburn Live that he remains locked in with Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers. Carter visited Georgia, Florida State, and North Carolina officially, but says that he saved his "best visit for last" and that he remains as committed as he was when he announced his pledge in January. 'I feel the same, I'm locked in. Same as I was months ago when I committed. This was just reassurance that it's home. I had a great time here and I love it here. Coach (Marcus) Davis and his belief in me. Coach (Hugh) Freeze and his belief in me also. Just the whole coaching staff and the way they pour into me and express the way that they feel about me. They're going to use me well here and I'm going to make plays here in Jordan-Hare Stadium. We're going to be special here. And Deuce Knight, I got to workout with him last night. We went to the field and ran some routes. That's my guy. He's one of them ones. We're going to be special.' Advertisement Carter says that Knight having one year of development before he gets to campus will be vital, and it is a process that he is happy to be a part of. Carter also says that he is joining the Tigers' coaching staff as well as several top 2026 commits in recruiting four-star quarterback Landon Duckworth, who was also on the Plains for a weekend visit. Carter is the No. 15 wide receiver of the 2026 class and is the No. 13 player from Georgia according to 247Sports. He is the second-highest rated commit to Auburn's 2026 haul, trailing four-star EDGE Hezekiah Harris. Final 2025 USA TODAY Sports baseball coaches poll unveiled: Was Alabama ranked?

For the sixth straight college baseball season, an SEC team took home the Men's College World Series trophy in Omaha on Sunday. The LSU Tigers defeated Coastal Carolina, 5-3, in the CWS Finals at Charles Schwab Field to win their second national championship in three years under coach Jay Johnson, and their eighth overall title in school history. LSU finished the year 53-15 overall and were the unanimous No. 1 in the final USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll, released Monday. Alabama had a lot to be proud of in 2025. With a talented roster led by shortstop Justin Lebron, coach Rob Vaughn guided the Crimson Tide to their first 40-win regular season since 2002. But it was an all-too-familiar ending for Alabama in the NCAA Tournament. The Crimson Tide dropped both games in the Hattiesburg Regional -- to the Miami Hurricanes and host Southern Miss -- as the program's College World Series drought reached 26 years. Alabama, which climbed to as high as No. 8 in the Coaches Poll during the regular season on March 31 after taking two of three from Oklahoma in a top 10 series, entered the tournament ranked No. 20. The Crimson Tide were unranked in the final Coaches Poll Monday. They received the second most votes for top 25 consideration with 73, behind Florida with 85 votes. Alabama also finished unranked in the final coaches poll in 2024. In 2023, the Crimson Tide were ranked No. 17 in the final coaches poll after reaching the Winston-Salem Super Regional against Wake Forest. Alabama was unranked in the preseason poll this year, released back on Feb. 3. Eight SEC teams placed in the final top 25, led by LSU. The Tigers won an elimination game over Little Rock in the Baton Regional Regional, then breezed through the rest of the tournament. They swept West Virginia in a Super Regional and went 5-0 in Omaha, rallying for a 6-5 come-from-behind victory over rival Arkansas to clinch a berth in the CWS Finals. The eight SEC teams ranked in the final top 25 were the most by any conference. Here's a look at the full top 25 Coaches Poll rankings.
