Orlando Pirates identify Spanish boss to replace Riveiro?
Orlando Pirates are keeping things Iberian in their search for a new head coach. Is this the man to replace Jose Riveiro?
'There have been talks between Pablo Franco Martin and Orlando Pirates,' an inside source revealed.
'An offer has been made, but he is not the only coach the club is looking at, and there are other candidates. He is very interested in the Pirates job, and he has since parted ways with the club he was coaching in Saudi Arabia, despite being made an offer to increase his salary to renew his contract.'
According to Soccer-Laduma , Orlando Pirates will soon seal a deal for Polokwane City right-back Thabang Matuludi. The same publication sounds less optimistic about their chances of snapping up Bafana winger Oswin Appollis. The 23-year-old reportedly has his heart set on Kaizer Chiefs. Is this a blessing in disguise for the Buccaneers?

Kaizer Chiefs news: Edson Castillo and Fiacre Ntwari
Betway Premiership giants Kaizer Chiefs are linked to high-profile players around the African continent, but the Premier Soccer League will have the last say. The names include the sought-after Fiston Mayele, Feisal Salum, Maxi Nzengeli, and Jean Claude Ahoua. According to the Premier Soccer League rules, clubs can only register five foreign nationals. What is the current situation in the Kaizer Chiefs squad? Kaizer Chiefs news: Medical tests and Kabelo Nkgwesa As reported last Tuesday, Amakhosi made their first big decision on a foreign national. Edmilson Dove, who played 10 times due to a lengthy injury layoff, has become the first sacrifice. Latest: Rulani Mokwena to Orlando Pirates The Mozambican international joined Amakhosi in August 2022 from UD Songo. He left the club after 56 games, including two goals. So, what does this mean for the foreign spots? With Dove gone, Amakhos have four foreign players left: Fiacre Ntwari, Inacio Miguel, Edson Castillo, and Glody Lilepo. According to reports, Rwanda international goalkeeper Ntwari is linked with a departure, as well as the 31-year-old Venezuelan Castillo.
