Watch: Tennis star Jannik Sinner, Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli release song
June 20 (UPI) -- Top-ranked tennis star Jannik Sinner and Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli collaborated on a new song titled "Polvere e Gloria," which they released Friday.
The song, which translates to "Dust and Glory," features Bocelli's renowned vocals while Sinner delivers speaking lines focused on advice for others. A YouTube video of the production showed Sinner standing alongside Bocelli as he sang and played the piano at a studio in Tuscany.
"Every life is a potential work of art: each of us bears the sweet responsibility of nurturing our talents in the daily acrobatics of living, pursuing our dreams while remaining steadfastly true to our values," Sinner and Bocelli wrote in social media posts about the experience.
"This duet is such a bold leap that it has ignited our passion, born of shared and unwavering desire to express our deep belief that nothing is impossible."
Sinner, who lost to No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz of Spain earlier this month in the French Open men's singles final, was upset by No. 45 Alexander Bublik of Kazakhstan in the Round of 16 of the Halle Open on Thursday in Halle, Germany.
"Now taking a few days off before Wimbledon -- one week to reset and prepare," Sinner wrote Friday on social media. "See you all soon."

Flamengo stun Chelsea with comeback victory at Club World Cup as Jackson sees red
After all the hype about Cole Palmer taking the No 10 shirt, it was hard to understand why Enzo Maresca seemed so determined to shackle his best player as Chelsea's hopes of reaching the knockout phase of the Club World Cup as winners of Group D were dented by a second-half implosion in which Nicolas Jackson picked up a rash red card for the second time in his past four appearances. How Flamengo made light of the financial gap. The leaders of the Brazilian league were better and more motivated than their English opponents. Chelsea were dire, with Maresca's tactics weirdly reactive. The Italian compromised Palmer by moving him to the right and defeat leaves Chelsea, who collapsed after taking an early lead, at risk of facing Bayern Munich if they reach the last 16. None of the South American teams have been pushovers so far. This tournament has genuine meaning for them and it was no surprise that this felt like a home game for Flamengo, whose fans arrived at Lincoln Financial Field ready to make it theirs for the afternoon. Flamengo, who are coached by the former Chelsea left-back Filipe Luís, were lively and combative from the start. Their press was high, they had plenty of speed on the flanks and anyone trying to work out why they average the highest possession in the Brazilian league only had to look at Jorginho rolling back the years against his old side, the Italian exuding calm as he dropped back to receive the ball and shift the tempo with sudden switches of play and quick passes over the top. Advertisement Chelsea had no control. Instead they suffered for long spells. There was a cautious lineup from Maresca, who brought Malo Gusto in at right-back, moved Reece James into midfield and pushed Palmer to the right flank, and there was little flow to the Premier League side's football. Maresca's system did not work. It forced Chelsea into containment mode and restricted their attacking talents. Palmer looked out of sorts on the wing, Moisés Caicedo and Enzo Fernández both picked up early bookings for late tackles and although Liam Delap had a sight of goal in the fifth minute the striker found it difficult to make an impact on his full debut. Flamengo were the more aggressive side. Gerson was a dynamo in midfield and the only question was whether they could make their dominance count. They were too rushed in the final third at first and fell behind when Danilo's failure to deal with a speculative punt from James allowed Pedro Neto to steal possession, race through on goal and slip a low finish past Agustín Rossi. Yet Chelsea remained short of purpose and cohesion. Flamengo kept pressing and they almost equalised through Gerson, only for Levi Colwill to clear the midfielder's volley off the line. Advertisement The warning signs were obvious long before the game turned in the 62nd minute. Flamengo made a strong start to the second half, whereas Chelsea remained diffident and sluggish. Gerson and Gonzalo Plata both had chances to punish some awful defending. Plata then found space in the area but saw his rising shot tipped over by Robert Sánchez, who at least compensates for his shaky distribution with sharp reflexes. Attention shifted to the benches. Maresca was passive but Luís was proactive with his substitutions. Bruno Henrique came on for Giorgian de Arrascaeta in the 56th minute and soon made his mark. Chelsea were caught square when Gerson chipped a diagonal ball over Gusto, Plata headed across goal and Bruno Henrique ghosted behind Marc Cucurella to convert at the far post. There was still no response from Chelsea. The Flamengo fans erupted and they were bouncing again when Danilo made it 2-1 in the 65th minute, darting to the near post to head a corner past Sánchez. Humiliation beckoned. Chelsea duly lost their heads in the heat. Jackson, who had come on for Delap in between the Flamengo goals, proceeded to disgrace himself. The indiscipline was staggering when the striker took a heavy touch and planted his studs into Ayrton Lucas's shins, leaving his side to play out the closing stages with 10 men. Advertisement Jackson's latest indiscretion will raise further questions over his future. He was similarly foolish when he was sent off against Newcastle last month. Maresca, though, was just as unimpressive. He succeeded in neutering Palmer and then took him off when Chelsea needed a goal. The game was over a minute later. There was joy for Flamengo when another substitute, Wallace Yan, took advantage of another ricochet and fired past Sánchez. Chelsea still have work to do when they face Espérance Tunis in their final group game.
