New Details Reveal the Man Behind Sade Robinson's Death is Far Sicker Than We Thought
Sade Robinson's dismembered body parts washed up on the shores of Lake Michigan in April of 2024. Her alleged killer, Maxwell Anderson, was sent to trial over the last two weeks. The verdict might have settled some nerves but the never-before-heard details of the case left many shook.

New evidence from Anderson's trial suggests that he planned the murder months in advance. Anderson was found to have invited Robinson back to his home and drugged her drink. While she was there, prosecutors said Anderson turned on Netflix's 'Love, Death & Robots,' which features an episode with a dismembered corpse on a beach. Prosecutors showed photos Anderson took of him groping Robinson and pulling her clothes off as she laid face down on the couch unconscious. Police also testified to finding a makeshift 'sex dungeon' in his basement where some of her clothes were hidden along with two saws, per The New York Post.
Amidst mutilating her body, prosecutors introduced an image of Anderson holding her severed right breast, which one juror called 'his trophy,' per the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The following day, he drove her car to the woody area where it was later found burned and took a bus back to his apartment, per surveillance footage.
Despite Anderson's attorney arguing that the prosecution failed to show his intention to kill Robinson, it only took a jury 45 minutes after being shown those horrifying photos to decide he was guilty— on all counts. Robinson's mother said though the jury made the decision, her daughter played a major role in her own case.
'She will forever be remembered as an angel. My baby solved her own case. That's how I raised my kids. We don't give up. We are fighters. I demanded justice. I stand tall, I stand affirmative. Sade will continue to walk with me daily and right beside me,' Sheena Scarbrough, Robinson's mother said outside the courthouse, per The Post.
During the reading of the verdict, Anderson almost donned a stunned look as if he was shocked. He faces a mandatory life sentence and is due in court for the ruling on August 15.

ANDERSON, S.C. (AP) — One woman was killed and at least nine others were wounded during a shooting at a Juneteenth celebration in South Carolina, authorities said. More than 100 law enforcement officers and rescue workers responded Saturday night to the outdoor event in Anderson, South Carolina, according to the sheriff's office. No arrests had been reported by Sunday afternoon. Laporshia Janae Gray Cobb, 35, died from a gunshot wound to the abdomen, according to the county coroner's office. Nine others were taken to area hospitals, two with severe injuries. A woman was killed and multiple people were injured while attending a Juneteenth celebration in Anderson on June 21. Anderson County police responded to a report of multiple people shot on Scarborough Road in Anderson around 10 p.m. Responders arrived to find a chaotic scene with people fleeing the scene and numerous people injured, according to a report. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene by EMS personnel, according to Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore. The victim has been identified as Laporshia Janae Gray Cobb, a 35-year-old female from Anderson. The victim died as a result of a gunshot wound to the abdomen, and the case has been ruled a homicide. The victim was one of many attending a large gathering to celebrate Juneteenth, when an altercation ensued, according to the report. In all, 10 people were injured due to gunshot wounds. Two victims were severely injured and were transported to AnMed and Prisma Health. Seven victims were being treated at AnMed for gunshot wounds to the extremities. Most of the victims arrived at the hospital by private vehicles. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office, Anderson Police Department, Medshore Ambulance Service,Anderson County Fire Department, South Carolina Highway Patrol, Anderson County EMS, and theAnderson County Office of the Coroner responded to the scene. The investigation is ongoing by the Anderson County Office of the Coroner and the Anderson CountySheriff's Office. Sara Burack, a luxury real estate agent who appeared on Netflix's Million Dollar Beach House, was killed Thursday when she was mowed down in a hit-and-run while walking. Photo from luxgrouppalmbeach/Instagram June 21 (UPI) -- Police on Long Island have arrested a suspect in the fatal hit-and-run crash of Sara Burack, a luxury real estate agent featured on Netflix's Million Dollar Beach House. She was 40. Friday, one day after the crash, Amanda Kempton, 32, of Virginia, was arrested on charges of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident in which a fatality occurred in Hampton Bays. On Saturday, the marine biologist's family in Manorville put up collateral in lieu of $100,000 bail during a first appearance in Southampton Town Justice Court. Kempton, who had planned to return to Virginia for a wedding Saturday, faces up to seven years in prison in the felony case. Burack was discovered lying unconscious on the side of Montauk Highway, near Villa Paul Restaurant, at around 2:45 a.m. Thursday, Southampton Town police told the New York Daily News. Burack was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital, where she died that afternoon, her friend and fellow realtor Paulette Corsair said. Corsair said Burack endured severe injuries to her head, brain and liver, as well as a broken leg. "This animal of a being, left her in the gutter to die," Corsair posted on Facebook. "She was not identified for hours. Her beloved family was called & I was next. We were all bedside w sara til the end." Although Kempton was at a tavern before the incident, her lawyer told the court that alcohol is not a factor in the case. She left the scene and went to a friend's home, and found Burack's large, pink, wheeled suitcase underneath her vehicle, Keahon said. Authorities, using a license plate reader, tracked Kempton's movements and found her vehicle with a damaged front end at her family's home, prosecutors said. Burack, who lived in Southampton, was a renowned broker and former agent with Nest Seekers International, a luxury firm known for handling properties in Manhattan and the Hamptons. She listed property through Palm Beach Lux Group in Florida. Burack appeared on Million Dollar Beach House in 2020 with Peggy Zabakolas and J.B. Andreassi.
