Paulo Dybala rejects mega offer from Al Hilal
Paulo Dybala has reportedly rejected a very important offer from Saudi Arabia.
After turning down the opportunity to move to Al Qadsiah a year ago, Dybala is now reported to have said No to Al Hilal.
According to Argentine network Tyc Sport, the Roma star rejected a proposal from Al Hilal worth around 10 million dollars to play only in the Club World Cup.

An incredible fee considering the short duration of the contract and the few games to play (only three in case of elimination in the group stage).
Paulo thanked Simone Inzaghi for his interest but preferred to decline the offer.
He wants to think about recovering for the new season after the injury in March.
These days he is training in Miami to be available to Gasperini on July 13 for the start of Roma's preseason.

FC Barcelona Heavyweight Agrees Saudi Arabia Move
An FC Barcelona locker room heavyweight has agreed to head to the Saudi Pro League when his contract ... More expires according to local reports picked up by SPORT which cited anonymous sources. An FC Barcelona locker room heavyweight has agreed to head to the Saudi Pro League when his contract expires, according to local reports picked up by SPORT which cited anonymous sources. Marc-Andre ter Stegen has been linked with a move to the Middle East amid the signing of Joan Garcia. On international duty with Germany, he claimed ignorance as per being potentially sold ahead of the 2025/2026, at a time when Garcia's release clause at Espanyol still hadn't been paid. Now that's been done, and Garcia has been announced and unveiled at the Joan Gamper CT, the veteran's days between the sticks as Hansi Flick's number one are believed to be numbered. With a contract until mid-2028, however, Ter Stegen isn't obliged to go anywhere and can make things difficult for President Joan Laporta and Sporting Director Deco to get him out of the door. Robert Lewandowski's pending exit from the Catalans should be far more amicable. Turning 37 in exactly a couple of months' time, the deal he signed when joining from Bayern Munich in 2022 expires in just over a year and isn't expected to be renewed given his age. Already looking at the big picture, though, Saudi outlets such as the Al-Riyadiyah newspaper report that 'Lewa' will become one of the Pro League's marquee signings in 2026, which has been confirmed by an anonymous Gol International spokesperson. Gol International is of course the agency headed by Lewandowski's super agent Pini Zahavi, with whom Laporta shares a great working relationship that helped bring the Pole to the Camp Nou back in the famous summer of the 'economic levers'. The mentioned newspaper is clear that there have been no direct conversations between Lewandowski and Pro League representatives yet, but they are expected soon ahead of the ex-Pichichi winner joining one of its teams in 2026. Robert Lewandowski will leave FC Barcelona a modern day club legend Irrespective of what his next destination is, Lewandowski will leave FC Barcelona as a modern day club legend. With two La Liga titles, two Spanish Super Cups and a Copa del Rey to his name amid 101 goals, he could add the Champions League to that tally if Hansi Flick and his men go all the way to Budapest and then some next term.

Brazil expresses interest in hosting 2029 Club World Cup
Brazil has expressed its interest in hosting the 2029 men's Club World Cup. A statement from the Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) said that its newly-elected president, Sami Xaud, held a meeting with his FIFA counterpart, Gianni Infantino, on Friday where the idea was discussed. The ongoing Club World Cup is taking place in the United States and The Athletic reported in December that FIFA was considering hosting the tournament in the same location in four years. Advertisement Meanwhile, James Johnson, Football Australia's chief executive, told the Sydney Morning Herald in June 2023 that his country would consider bidding for the 2029 hosting rights. Reports from Africa have also quoted the Moroccan FA (FRMF) chief Fouzi Lekjaa as saying his nation, alongside Spain and Portugal, would want to host the tournament a year before they act as co-hosts for the men's World Cup. 'It all started with an introductory conversation,' Xaud said, via the CBF website. 'I spoke about my goals as head of the CBF and said that we want to be closer to FIFA. I praised the event and the level of Brazilian clubs and, finally, I made the country available to host the next World Cup. 'President Gianni Infantino was very happy and said that it was totally possible. Now we're going to work to make it happen. It's going to be a great goal.' The meeting, the CBF said, took place at the FIFA Executive Football Summit 2025 in Miami. Xaud, meanwhile, was elected as CBF president in May, replacing Ednaldo Rodrigues who was removed from the position after a court ruling in Brazil. Brazil has four of South America's six clubs competing at the 2025 Club World Cup, in Palmeiras, Flamengo, Fluminense and Botafogo qualifying as the respective winners of the Copa Libertadores from 2021 to 2025. The Brazilian Serie A runs from March to December but has paused for a month due to the Club World Cup. (Photo of Flamengo celebrating at the Club World Cup,)

Miami Hurricanes Potential Playoff Berth in 2025 Hinges on Just one Player
Miami Hurricanes Potential Playoff Berth in 2025 Hinges on Just one Player originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Miami Hurricanes defense, specifically their pass defense, failed not only coach Mario Cristobal, but they also failed the fans by missing a chance to win the ACC title and earn a berth in the expanded college football playoff in 2024. Advertisement But Cristobal addressed that issue in this offseason by raiding the transfer portal for talented players that can defend against the pass. According to Carter Bahns of the one player that is the x-factor for the Hurricanes to make the playoffs this season is, surprisingly, transfer cornerback Xavier Lucas. Lucas recorded just one INT to go with 18 tackles and two pass breakups at Wisconsin a season ago. Wisconsin Badgers cornerback Xavier Lucas (6) celebrates with cornerback Max Lofy (12) following an Hanisch-USA TODAY Sport With that said, the x-factor is not Lucas at all. That moniker should fall squarely on the shoulders (and the surgically repaired throwing elbow) of former Georgia quarterback Carson Beck. Advertisement Beck passed for over 3,400-yards a season ago. He also threw 12 interceptions, eight of which were thrown over three consecutive games. Beck transferred after suffering the season-ending elbow injury. Then, Miami swooped in with millions and lured Beck to Florida. After an offseason of injury rehab and way-too-many distractions, Beck must step up and show what he can do at the most important position on the field during fall camp and during the season. Anything less than a conference championship and a playoff berth in 2025 will be a bust for the Hurricanes.
