Studio Ghibli brings Princess Mononoke's Wolf Fang Dagger to life as a ballpoint pen

Back in 2022, Studio Ghibli released a special range of goods to celebrate the 25th anniversary of "Princess Mononoke." One of the key items in the collection was the Wolf Fang Dagger Ballpoint Pen, which proved to be so popular it quickly sold out.
Now, fans of the movie will be pleased to know that the highly sought-after item is back in stock at the chain, looking just as beautiful as it did when it first wowed us three years ago, with etched details to match the look of the dagger seen in the film.
Used by the film's titular character, who also goes by the name San, this dagger is first introduced to viewers when fiesty warrior San brandishes it during a tense fight scene against Lady Eboshi.
What it lacks in size — it is made from the fang of a magical wolf, after all — it makes up for in speed and precision. As these two things are also handy when writing, you'll be able to feel the magical assist whenever you use the pen to scribble down your thoughts.
The pen will look right at home on your desk, especially if you have one of the studio's Rollbahn notebooks to pair with it.

The simplicity makes the drink suitable for a wide variety of customisations, and the cinnamon tuned out to be a perfect partner for mango, adding a dash of extra flavor to excite the taste buds right through to the very last sip. This is the kind of easy-to-drink beverage that you'll want to order again and again, so it's a good idea to alternate between the standard version and a few customisations while it's available until July 8. Ghibli anime art greeting cards are a canvas to tell friends and family how and why you care【Pics】
Studio Ghibli supplies the watercolor art, leaves the message up to you. In Japan, most greeting cards don't come with lengthy pre-written messages. Instead of preparing a declaration of laser-focused sentiment for you, like 'Grandma is so proud that you're graduating from middle school!', Japanese greeting cards tend to keep things short and broad. They might have a simple 'Happy birthday,' 'Congratulations,' or 'Thank you,' but generally the idea is that you'll supply the message yourself, with the card being something to please the eye and set the mood while you express your feelings in your own words. That brings us to this line of gorgeous Ghibli greeting cards. Each of them features a beautiful watercolor painting of characters or settings from the anime studio's beloved films on the front, but is blank inside, leaving it to you to tell the person you're sending it to why you chose this piece of artwork while thinking of them. Totoro, no surprise, is featured multiple times in the line. The scene of him traipsing through the tall grass with a leafy parasol is a great pick if you're following the Japanese custom of sending cards in summer to check in on friends and family and see how they're handling the heat… …as is the card depicting this nighttime ocarina concert. The good-times-with-good-folks vibes of these paintings make them an apt choice for sending to old friends you're looking forward to seeing again, even if you don't have any concrete plans in the near future… …and if you're the type that likes to plan ahead, for a fellow fan this card is practically a Christmas gift in and of itself. Since this Spirited Away card shows Chihiro's parents still under the curse that's transformed them into pigs, it's hard to say whether or not your own mom and dad would appreciate it, or if it's better to save it for a friend… …but this illustration of the approach to the bathhouse of the gods is one any fan of the movie will enjoy (as evidenced by the fact that it's the only design in the series that's currently sold out). We saw a peek of Princess Mononoke's Ashitaka earlier… …but he's got a second card too… …and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind strikes a similarly dramatic, determined pose. Castle in the Sky/Laputa's Pazu swooping in to rescue Sheeta works for both romantic gestures and friendly 'I'm here if you need me' reminders… …and finally, rounding things out is a much more relaxed aviation image, courtesy of Porco Rosso's flying boat. As an added bonus, the cards come with a special envelope bearing the Studio Ghibli logo with Totoro in profile, the same way he appears at the start of the studio's movies. And while technically these are all meant to be put in the mail or handed off to someone else, they also make excellent 24 x 15.8-centimeter (9.4 x 6.2-inch) mini posters that you can arrange in whatever array you want on your wall or on your desk. No need to use your head anymore for this simple game. On 15 December 2023, baseball phenom Shohei Ohtani held his first press conference as a member of the LA Dodgers. It was a joyous event for the future World Series winning team and Ohtani's spirits were also high as he introduced his pet dog to the world. Perhaps in honor of his international success, his dog actually has two names 'Decoy' in English and 'Dekopin' in Japanese. ▼ Decoy/Dekopin has been a regular fixture in Dodger Stadium ever since. The word ' dekopin ' is a combination of the words ' deko ' which can mean 'forehead' and ' pin ' which is very similar to the English word 'ping' to simulate a sharp impact, making ' dekopin ' translate to something like 'forehead ping.' It's a common act of playful childhood roughhousing along the lines of noogies and could be used as punishment for losing a game like rock, paper, scissors. The euphoria at the time surrounding Ohtani's new home, recent marriage, and adorable dog spread like wildfire in Japan. The craze got so big that even Hac Co., Ltd. in Osaka, the maker of Dekopin Buster, or 'Decopin Buster' as they stylize it, benefitted without having anything at all to do with Ohtani or his dog. ▼ Right now, I can hear you thinking, 'You don't mean the same Hac that makes the remote control turds, do you?' Yes, the very same. As Dekopin fever took hold, a lot of attention fell on Decopin Buster. It was featured in several YouTube videos and sold like hot cakes might have if they were called 'dekopin cakes.' Hac was only now finally able to produce more Decopin Busters and released them again on 18 June for 4,680 yen (US$32) each. Decopin Buster works just like one of those punching machines found in bars or game centers, only instead of punching the padded arm, you must flick it hard enough to get a high score. It also comes with mission cards and penalty cards to add some depth to competitive dekopinning. We actually got a Decopin Buster in a Village Vanguard lucky bag similar to this one, back during its original run in late 2023. However, batteries were sold separately so we couldn't test it in time for the article. It looked pretty fun though. Worry no longer about your next game of paper football or marbles. With Decopin Buster you can hone your flicks to levels never thought possible. I did and now every time I flick a mosquito off my arm, it completely atomizes.
