Where to Watch ‘How to Train Your Dragon': Is the Live-Action Remake Streaming?
It's time to head back to Berk — the live-action adaptation of 'How to Train Your Dragon' is finally here.
Based on the animated film first released in 2010, the live-action film from DreamWorks and Universal Pictures is once again written and directed by Dean DeBlois. It tells the story of a young man who unexpectedly befriends the most feared dragon out there and strives to change the relationship between humans and the creatures forever.
Here's what you need to know.
'How to Train Your Dragon' releases nationwide on Friday, June 13. But, depending on where you live, you can likely catch an early showing on Thursday, June 12. You can check showtimes near you below:

No, you'll only be able to catch 'How to Train Your Dragon' on the big screen — at least for now. It'll head to home video a few weeks after its theatrical run, and we'll keep you posted on an exact date.
Since it's a Universal Pictures film, odds are, it'll will head to Peacock first when it's available on streaming.
'How to Train Your Dragon' tells the story of Hiccup, a member of a Viking clan on the Isle of Berk, who's a bit of a disaster by their dragon-killing standards. But, when he manages to wrangle the most dangerous dragon of all, he realizes that maybe his people have the creatures all wrong, and works to change things.
You don't! The live-action 'How to Train Your Dragon' is not a continuation of the animated version, but rather a pretty faithful adaptation. You'll get the same story, no matter which one you watch first.
It's not quite a shot-for-shot remake, but it is pretty close. The live-action version keeps nearly all of the key scenes and dialogue, with a few cuts and additions here and there simply because that's how adaptations work. But if you're a longtime fan of the animated film, odds are you won't be disappointed by this one.
Mason Thames, Nico Parker, Gerard Butler, Julian Dennison, Nick Frost, Gabriel Howell, Bronwyn James, Harry Trevaldwyn, Ruth Codd, Peter Serafinowicz and Murray McArthur are all members of the cast.

A few weeks ago, 28 Years Later was tracking to open to $35 million, with more bullish pundits thinking it could come in north of $40 million. Instead, it's headed for a solid $30 million to $31 million domestic start. Similar to the family space, some are speculating that the horror marketplace may be over-saturated, led by the box office hit Final Destination: Bloodlines. 28 Years Later will still mark the biggest opening of Boyle's career and reunites the filmmaker with writer Alex Garland 25 years after 28 Days hit the big screen and became a cult classic. Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jack O'Connell, Alfie Williams and Ralph Fiennes star in what's the first installment in a planned trilogy. Reviewers have widely embraced the R-rated title, but actual moviegoers are somewhat less enthusiastic; its current audience score on Rotten Tomatoes is 67 percent, compared to a 90 percent critics' score. At the same time, it's garnering decent exit scores from leading exit-polling service PostTrak. And it earned a B CinemaScore, which is like an A grade when it comes to horror fare. Facing fierce competition from How to Train Your Dragon and fellow Disney release Lilo & Stitch, Elio took in $9 million on Friday for a projected third-place domestic opening in the $20 million to $22 million range. Elio — an original film about a young boy whose wish to travel to outer space and interact with aliens comes true — was expected to open to at least $30 million domestically. But with interest stalling in recent days, Disney insiders lowered their projections to $20 million to $25 million as Pixar braced for the worst 3-day opening in its history behind Elemental ($29.6 million) in June 2023 and its very first film, 1995's Toy Story ($29.1 million), not adjusted for inflation. Toy Story opened over Thanksgiving and amassed $39 million over the long five-day holiday weekend. In 2023, Elemental's opening was called nothing short of a debacle, yet it turned into a sleeper hit on its way to earning nearly $500 million globally. New M3GAN 2.0 Featurette Teases a 'bigger,' 'badder,' and 'bloodier' Sequel — GeekTyrant
Universal Pictures has released a new featurette for Blumhouse's M3GAN 2.0 , and it offers a behind-the-scene look at the upcoming crazy robot vs. robot action comedy horror film. The video features interviews with the cast and crew and they tease a 'bigger', badder,' and 'bloodier' sequel 'in the best way'. The movie also look even more ridiculous than the first one. The film takes place two years after M3GAN , 'a marvel of artificial intelligence, went rogue and embarked on a murderous (and impeccably choreographed) rampage and was subsequently destroyed, M3GAN's creator Gemma (Allison Williams) has become a high-profile author and advocate for government oversight of A.I. Meanwhile, Gemma's niece Cady (Violet McGraw), now 14, has become a teenager, rebelling against Gemma's overprotective rules. 'Unbeknownst to them, the underlying tech for M3GAN has been stolen and misused by a powerful defense contractor to create a military-grade weapon known as Amelia (Ivanna Sakhno), the ultimate killer infiltration spy. But as Amelia's self-awareness increases, she becomes decidedly less interested in taking orders from humans. Or in keeping them around. 'With the future of human existence on the line, Gemma realizes that the only option is to resurrect M3GAN (Amie Donald, voiced by Jenna Davis) and give her a few upgrades, making her faster, stronger, and more lethal. As their paths collide, the original A.I bitch is about to meet her match.' James Wan is producing the film for Atomic Monster, Jason Blum for Blumhouse and Gerard Johnstoneis back to direct the next wild chapter of A.I. robot mayhem. Akela Cooper ( Malignant, M3GAN ) returned to write the script. The upcoming horror sequel co-stars returning cast members Brian Jordan Alvarez and Jen Van Epps as Gemma's loyal tech teammates, Cole and Tess, and new characters played by Aristotle Athari, Timm Sharp and Jemaine Clement. M3GAN 2.0 will be released in theaters on June 27, 2025.
