28 Years Later's Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ralph Fiennes and Danny Boyle on the horror sequel

British horror film 28 Days Later by director Danny Boyle was a surprise hit in 2002 and soon became a milestone in the genre.
Five years on came the sequel 28 Weeks Later, directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo.
Now, Boyle and screenwriter Alex Garland are back with a third installment, 28 Years Later – the first in a possible trilogy.
'I think what had happened was we both had a very particular affection for the original film,' Garland said. 'That also means you want to protect it as well as continue to explore it.'

The duo was determined to avoid a sequel that would ruin the reputation of the classic. And fear not, Boyle and Garland have succeeded.

Meet Odd Muse founder Aimee Smale: the 28-year-old ex-Asos buyer built a multimillion-dollar ‘affordable luxury' clothing brand from her bedroom, but is it really ‘slow fashion'?

Aimee Smale was only 22 years old when she launched her own clothing brand, Odd Muse, from the comfort of her bedroom amid the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. Modelling her own designs and piggybacking off of TikTok's rapid growth at the time, Smale managed to use social media to market her 'affordable luxury' brand. The brand, known for its dedication to slow fashion, has gone viral more than once and even made a splash when debuting at London Fashion Week in 2023. Advertisement Today, Odd Muse is a multi-million dollar business with two stores in London's Covent Garden, and SoHo in New York City. The brand also has over 500,000 followers on TikTok and over 960,000 on Instagram at the time of writing. Here's everything you need to know about Aimee Smale. She mentioned that it was her father, who ran his own shop selling kitchen appliances, that inspired her to become an entrepreneur herself. 'I've got such fond memories of my father starting his business and taking things into his own hands,' she said. After Smale graduated from Ravensbourne University London in 2021 with a degree in fashion buying and brand management, she began working as a fashion buyer's assistant at Asos, the fast fashion retailer. She stayed in the position for a little over a year while saving money through designing logos for small businesses. Aimee Smale with a rack of Odd Muse clothing. US singer Chris Brown pleads not guilty in London nightclub assault case

Grammy-winning singer Chris Brown pleaded not guilty on Friday to a charge related to the serious beating of a music producer with a bottle in a London nightclub in 2023. Brown, 36, wearing a blue suit, white shirt and black-rimmed glasses, was arraigned in London's Southwark Crown Court on one count of attempting to unlawfully and maliciously cause grievous bodily harm with intent. Brown's friend and fellow musician Omololu Akinlolu, 39, who performs under the name 'Hoody Baby' pleaded not guilty to the same charge. Prosecutors previously said Brown and Akinlolu assaulted producer Abe Diaw at a bar in the Tape nightclub in the swanky Mayfair neighbourhood in February 2023. Brown allegedly launched an unprovoked attack on Diaw and hit him several times with a bottle and then punched and kicked him. The attack was caught on surveillance camera in front of a club full of people, prosecutors said. Brown was originally charged with a single count of grievous bodily harm after his arrest in May, but prosecutors subsequently brought an indictment adding two counts: assault causing actual bodily harm and having an offensive weapon, a bottle.

For the 2025 edition of the World's 50 Best Restaurants awards, the annual event was held for the first time in Italy, at the historic Auditorium Giovanni Agnelli at the Lingotto Fiere exhibition centre in Turin. Maido, a Nikkei (Peruvian-Japanese) fine-dining spot in Lima helmed by chef Mitsuharu 'Micha' Tsumura, took home the top honour. The restaurant is no stranger to accolades from the 50 Best universe, having received top ranking four times on the Latin America edition of the list. 'I dream of making people happy,' said a visibly emotional Tsumura when taking to the stage. 'I think hospitality can do amazing things. They can make dreams come true, they can solve most problems that you think cannot be solved. I think that we should be an example for the world of what can be done and how we can bring things together with the power of food.'
