Chelsee Healey supports dad of baby daughter as he faces jail for drug-dealing

Daily Mirror5 days ago

Hollyoaks actress Chelsee Healey watched from the public gallery at Manchester Crown Court as the father of her 15-month-old daughter, Eddie Raindford, faced jail
Chelsee Healey attended court to watch the father of her 15-month-old daughter were he was due to be sentenced for his role in a 'wholesale' drug-dealing operation. The Dancing On Ice star, 36, had tried to keep his identity under wraps from fans as she only revealed his first name.
She attended Manchester Crown Court on Monday, where Eddie Rainford, 32, and another man named Jay Boyd appeared. The Hollyoaks actress, who plays Goldie McQueen, previously called Rainford "The One" and "marriage material".
The case was adjourned after judge Peter Horgan said the pair they were likely facing an "immediate custodial sentence." He has been held on remand at HMP Forest Bank to await sentence.
Chelsee appeared shocked as she watched from the public gallery, according to Daily Mail. In January, Rainford pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug between November 2022 and September 2023.
It came just four days after Chelsee was eliminated from ITV's Dancing on Ice. Chelsee appeared to hint at the tough time as she became the first celebrity to leave the ice skating competition.
During her exit, she took the moment to brand pro partner Andy Buchanan as "amazing" and expressed that she "couldn't have done it without him". She added: "I feel, personally, there's been a lot going on with me that I've been struggling with, so I couldn't completely focus. I'm just really grateful, I've had the best time."
Chelsee also shared a heartfelt message with her fans, posting pictures of herself in her Dancing On Ice glam. Alongside the post, she penned: "Had so many messages about Dancing on ice Thankyou Everyone for the Support."
She continued: "Just know i am where i need to be. Just a little context of how i have been feeling with the 2 videos, I have had a lot to deal with and God Knew i needed to just take time for Myself and Be at home With My Girls. A Smile can sometimes Hide a thousand Feelings."
A few weeks later, Chelsee decided to tell her fans that she had a miscarriage while she was a contestant on Dancing On Ice. She said that she felt "blessed" to already be a parent to daughters Coco, seven, and Cookie, one, but the "grief still feels enormous".
Chelsee shared: "I haven't been able to talk about this until now, because it's been too painful. I hope by sharing it now it can help other women going through something similar. Been so anxious to post.
"Whilst committed to DOI and the busy training schedule, to our shock we discovered that I was pregnant. Within weeks of finding out this news, before me and my family could allow this news to sink in and digest it, I suffered a miscarriage.
"Understandably this really did devastate me and hit me deeply, finding out this news and then having it taken in such a short proof of time is an awful lot to deal with. I know I am beyond blessed to have two beautiful daughters but the grief still feels enormous.
"I am grieving for the little soul I carried momentarily who I'll never get to meet, the sibling that my girls will never get to have. The child that will forever leave my heart curious with the 'what ifs'. And it is painful."
She concluded her post: "A gentle reminder that we never know what someone else is going through or how their pain maybe hurting them. To all of you, I am sending my love."

Stephen Mulhern's £1m Butlin's role axed in latest career blow for ITV star

Former Butlin's redcoat Stephen Mulhern has lost his lucrative £1m contract with the famous holiday firm. ITV star Stephen Mulhern has been dealt a huge career blow. The presenter has been dropped from his reported £1million gig as the face of Butlins, rounding off a spate of ill fortune with work commitments. Mulhern, 48, hasn't had his contract renewed with the famous family-friendly UK holiday resort chain. As part of the deal he performed magic shows on stage at the firm's centres in Minehead, Bognor Regis and Skegness, but he will not return after the summer season. ‌ A spokesperson confirmed the news and stated that the star, a former redcoat for the legendary firm, had 'enjoyed' his time working with the brand. ‌ The spokesperson told the Mirror: 'Stephen has absolutely loved being part of the Butlin's family - performing his stage shows in front of thousands of holiday makers across the country and the relationship with Butlin's remains hugely positive. "This change allows Stephen to explore new opportunities in the family holiday space – something he's incredibly passionate about." A Butlin's spokesperson added: "Stephen has been an incredible part of the Butlin's experience and continues to be a valued member of the family. Stephen's much-loved live show won't return in 2026 after three fantastic years, but we're thrilled to be working together on ongoing projects this autumn.' Stephen's Butlin's axe was revealed by the Sun, as a source told them: 'Stephen has been a massive hit with holidaymakers. He began his career as a Redcoat and has kept families brilliantly entertained.' The TV magician's role on ITV Dancing On Ice came to an end earlier this year when the show was cancelled. The reality ice skating competition was cancelled due to low ratings, after Stephen had joined Holly Willoughby to host in January. He replaced Phillip Schofield, who was booted from all of his ITV roles after his affair with a younger colleague at This Morning was revealed in 2023. And last year, Stephen's other TV show, In For A Penny, was cancelled after six seasons , though there have been hinted it will return. A source previously told The Sun: "So don't put your pennies away just yet as the team could be popping up in your local town, to challenge even more members of the public to take part in their unique and madcap games in the future." ‌ Stephen also suffered a traumatic time in his personal life last year when his dad passed away. Stephen paid tribute to his late father in a touching moment after his Royal Variety Performance act last December. As the audience applauded his magic tricks, he said: "That was for you dad." The TV host continues to front ITV's Deal for No Deal which was revived in 2023. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Stephen Mulhern's '£1million Butlin's magic show scrapped' as presenter suffers year from hell with Dancing on Ice and game series axed

Stephen Mulhern 's '£1million Butlin's magic show has been scrapped' amid the presenter's year from hell. The TV personality, 48, has performed at the entertainment resort for the last three years but will not return next summer. It's the latest in a series of set backs for Stephen who has seen both Dancing on Ice and his game show, In For A Penny, axed. He usually performs his magic show at the Minehead, Bognor Regis and Skegness Butlin's resorts. A Butlin's spokesperson told The Sun: 'Stephen has been an incredible part of the Butlin's experience and continues to be a valued member of the family. 'Stephen's much-loved live show won't return in 2026 after three fantastic years, but we're thrilled to be working together on ongoing projects this autumn.' The TV personality, 48, has performed at the entertainment resort for the last three years but will not return next summer A source added: 'Stephen has been a massive hit with holidaymakers. He began his career as a Redcoat and has kept families brilliantly entertained.' MailOnline has contacted Stephen's representative for comment. While he may have found fame as a TV presenter, Stephen's first career path was as a magician. He first took an interest in the art of illusion as a child, learning tricks from his father at the age of 11. Stephen then began performing at a young age, holding shows for the public during family holidays to Butlins. Last month, Stephen revealed he broke down in tears while filming new travel show The Accidental Tourist, following his year from hell. In 2024 the presenter was not only left heartbroken following his beloved father Christopher's death, but also battled through his own health woes and was rushed to hospital after collapsing at a Pizza Express. The new one-off ITV show sees Stephen's pals Ant McPartlin, 49, and Declan Donnelly, 49, whisk him away to South Korea to push him out of his comfort zone to eat food he does not like and was filmed shortly after his father's death. Stephen told the Daily Mirror: 'No one's ever seen me cry on the telly, but it was quite nice to not be behind a format, I've never done that. You're going to see behind the razzle-dazzle if you like'. He then suffered another blow after his beloved ITV show In For A Penny was axed in July (pictured in April 2024) The Catchphrase host loved has pride in himself for starring in the show - which reportedly took him three years to be persuaded to do, but said was 'gutted' that his father was not alive to see how he got on. An emotional Stephen admitted: 'My dad had just passed away, so that's the only thing. I'm gutted that he didn't see it.' He continued: 'People have thankfully seen me on TV for nearly 25 years, but they may go, 'Well, what's he like at home? Is he going out with someone? I'm at the very centre of this, and it's scary'. 'They film and they film and they film and they just get everything. I think what you're going to see is a lot of emotion. You'll see me totally out of my comfort zone.' It was announced in November that Stephen's father Christopher had passed away, with a spokesperson for the star telling told: 'Stephen has had an incredibly tough time over the past few weeks. 'His beloved father recently passed away which has hit him hard and has been understandably very stressful'. Then shortly after Stephen was rushed to hospital after he collapsed while eating at a Pizza Express following an unknown medical procedure he had earlier in the day. After paramedics helped him, he was put on the phone to his mother to assure her that he was OK. Stephen suffered another blow after his beloved ITV show In For A Penny was axed, according to The Mirror, a shock decision meant his own fan-favourite Saturday night gameshow has been shelved after six series - but, bosses haven't ruled out a potential return and suggested it may have just been temporarily paused. An ITV source told MailOnline: 'Whilst Stephen is busy filming other projects over the summer, In For A Penny continues to be a much loved format for ITV. 'So don't put your pennies away just yet as the team could be popping up in your local town, to challenge even more members of the public to take part in their unique and madcap games in the future!'

Video of Arthur Collins, 32, taken on a smuggled phone, came as he was linked to drug drops by drone at jails in Herts and Greater Manchester. The exchange was caught on our exclusive video, showing laughing Collins apparently receiving a jab in his buttock from another lag. He could face disciplinary action after the body-building drug was seemingly sneaked into the jail, along with a handset used to record footage in his cell. Collins was recently switched from The Mount Prison — where the footage was taken — amid fears he was plotting to import drugs using drones. And it comes after a jail anti-corruption team found illicit items at his new home — HMP Buckley Hall, near Rochdale. A source said: 'Collins has been in trouble constantly and doesn't seem to care. He goes around like he is the big 'I am' and as if he rules the roost.' His actions will sicken the 22 victims of his 2017 attack when he hurled acid across in an East London nightclub — leaving 16 people with serious burns. Collins, who described himself as a businessman and scaffolder is serving a 20-year term imposed at Wood Green crown court after he admitted GBH with intent and nine counts of ABH. He had eight months added to his sentence in 2018 for smuggling in a phone which he used to call Dancing on Ice star Ferne, 34. She had been pregnant with their daughter, now aged seven, when he was jailed. The injection video shows Collins leaning over while another con jabs him. One of the prisoners asks him: 'Hey, bruv, what are you doing?' Collins replies: 'Injecting.' One of his jail pals says to Collins: 'Show me. Do you think you're big?' Collins tenses his muscles and replies: 'Am I?' Both videos were shot at Category C prison The Mount, in Bovingdon, Herts. Our source said: 'Collins has been in trouble constantly and doesn't seem to care. 7 Tight grip with fellow lag helps stop Collins recoiling in pain 7 Prisoner administers jab to Collins in his cell 'He has been linked to drone deliveries and drugs at both the jails he has been at. 'These videos show him having the injections, which he was doing quite regularly, as well as being filmed on a phone. He should face disciplinary action over the videos, as they were shot in his cell on a smuggled handset. 'But he has now been moved — and already got into trouble at his new jail. He seems cocky and like he is having a laugh with his mates inside, rather than being punished A source 'They thought he was behind drone deliveries at The Mount, and he has been suspected of helping to bringing in and possession of steroids, spice and weed. 'He is constantly in bother and keeps having to move jails because of it. He is mixing with the wrong people and getting involved in all sorts inside. 'As these videos show, he spends a lot of time at the gym and is proud of his progress, although he was using steroids to help him. 'That is what he is doing in the video, and loads of steroids get smuggled into jails. He is a lot slimmer than he was and is proud of being quite shredded, and he is physically strong 'But it would be pretty sickening for any of his victims to see this. 'He seems cocky and like he is having a laugh with his mates inside, rather than being punished.' Prison bosses at 1,001-capacity The Mount investigated Collins over smuggled drugs but did not call in police. He was moved to Buckley Hall earlier this year. Sources said the switch was also partly to protect Collins, as the northern jail holds fewer people likely to be linked to his victims. They added he was hopeful of having his status lowered to Category D, which could clear him for a move to an open jail. Collins started dating former Towie star Ferne in 2016 but she dumped him after the acid attack. 7 CCTV footage from inside the club during acid attack Credit: Collect She had visited him in jail and revealed she told him: 'This is the last time you will see either of us. We are seeing in prisons the failures of the government's pledges to crack down coming home to roost Conservative MP Alec Shelbrooke Her other TV credits include coming third in 2015's I'm A Celebrity. Tory MP Alec Shelbrooke said yesterday: 'The fact that mobile phones and drugs are readily available in jails shows a breakdown at the top of the prison system, which people need to get a grip on. 'We are seeing in prisons the failures of the government's pledges to crack down coming home to roost.' And Reform MP Lee Anderson said: 'It seems that many prisoners are committing crimes in jails with absolute impunity. 'These problems could easily be stopped. If a prisoner is caught with something like a smuggled phone or drugs they could be put in solitary for six months and have no visitors. 'If any drones are spotted on the grounds, lock down the prison for a week or two. But successive governments have turned a blind eye.' A Ministry of Justice spokesperson said: 'The availability of drugs and other illicit items in prisons is yet more evidence of the crisis this Government inherited. We have an additional invested £10million on anti-drone measures to help us seize more contraband and have a specialist team to bear down on drugs and serious and organised crime. 'We have also created restricted fly zones around prisons, and are collaborating with police to tackle the growing illegal use of drones around prisons.' 7 Collins' 2017 attack, where he hurled acid across in an East London nightclub, left 16 people with serious burns Credit: PA:Press Association 7 Collins was recently switched from The Mount Prison — where the footage was taken — amid fears he was plotting to import drugs using drones Credit: Getty - Contributor
