The 2025 Latin Grammys will return to Las Vegas for the 15th time

The 2025 Latin Grammys are headed back to Las Vegas.
The 26th annual award show will take place on Nov. 13 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It marks the 15th time the show has taken place in Sin City.
The three-hour telecast will be broadcast live on Univision. Nominations will be announced on Sept. 17.
Last year's ceremony was held at the Kaseya Center in Miami — the heart of Latin culture in the U.S., where the Latin Recording Academy is headquartered.
Gabriel Abaroa Jr., the Latin Recording Academy's former president and CEO (2003-2021) and current president emeritus told The Associated Press in 2024 that the idea is 'to keep the Latin Grammys traveling, because it shows the nature of our music.'
The inaugural Latin Grammy Awards were held in Los Angeles in 2000, followed by shows in Miami, New York City, Houston, Seville, Spain and Las Vegas.
The 2023 Latin Grammys were held in Seville, Spain, the first and only time the show took place outside the U.S.
The move, facilitated by a nearly 19 million-euro deal between the government of Andalusia and the Latin Recording Academy, sparked some controversy, with some criticizing the Latin Grammys decision to hold the show in the very European country that colonized much of Latin America.
'In the next couple of years, you will see another international edition of the Latin Grammys,' Manuel Abud, CEO of The Latin Recording Academy told AP last year.
In a statement partnering the 2025 announcement, Abud said, 'We are proud to once again bring the passion and creativity of Latin music to Las Vegas. The city has welcomed the Latin Grammys over the years, and we look forward to another great Latin Grammy week celebrating Latin music and its creators.'

On Thursday, June 19, Amouranth posted a video on X showing the streamer outside a 7-Eleven store, where she drives off in a vehicle which switches from green to purple. The video concludes with the message,'The Return', alongside a link to her Twitch channel. The original post for this video was captioned, '$38 million later…' – presumably the amount she earned from Kick over the past two years. However, this post has since been deleted and replaced with an updated version on Friday, June 20 which simply reads 'Today'. If it is a new deal, it will likely be non-exclusive, as the streamer has a huge presence on other platforms like OnlyFans. Despite being primarily a Kick streamer for two years, Amouranth still has over 6.2 million followers on Twitch. In comparison, she has 265,900 Kick followers. Scottish Maritime Museum announces international maritime concert

Zawisza Czarny, sea shanty choir from Poland and the Glasgow-based Solo Way Ukrainian Choir will celebrate the seafaring and folk traditions that unite countries across the world The Scottish Maritime Museum is "delighted" to announce that Zawisza Czarny, which is believed to be the largest male sea shanty choir from Poland and only crew of singing sailors in the world, and the all-female Glasgow-based Solo Way Ukrainian Choir will join together for an international maritime concert. The 'Echoes from the Deep' concert will take place on Friday, June 27 at 7.30pm in the museum's glass roofed Linthouse building on Irvine Harbourside. ‌ This is the second time that Zawisza Czarny has performed at the Scottish Maritime Museum with the generous support of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Edinburgh. ‌ Once a year, 50 'singing sailors' and crew members aged 20 to 88 years of age, board the 1952 three-masted staysail schooner Zawisza Czarny and sail to European ports to promote maritime traditions by performing as sailors would have aboard the great sailing ships of old. The choir performs classical shanties as they would have been sung whilst working on deck, with the division of vocal parts between shantyman and sailors. They also perform instrumental pieces which would have been played below deck during leisure time along with ceremonial songs and contemporary maritime folk. As well as promoting maritime heritage and building international relationships, Zawisza Czarny commemorates important events in the history of Polish naval and civilian shipping. This year, they mark the MS Piłsudski , a Polish troop carrier lost to enemy action off the UK coast in 1939. The Solo Way Ukrainian Choir was formed by Bozhena Yakymenko in November 2022. The choir was born from her desire to bring comfort through song to Ukrainian women who found refuge in Scotland after the Russian invasion. Under the expert direction of Bozhena, who is a gifted bandura player and musician, the choir has quickly built a diverse and rich repertoire of over thirty songs. These range from the heartfelt melodies of traditional Ukrainian folk tunes, carrying generations of musical heritage, to vibrant contemporary hits, including popular Eurovision songs. ‌ Today, Solo Way Ukrainian Choir is a powerful voice of resilience and hope and the group performs at charity concerts and commemorative events, using music to bridge cultures and heal hearts. Eva Bukowska, Exhibitions and Events Officer at the Scottish Maritime Museum, said: "Don't miss this rare opportunity to experience authentic maritime and folk music performed by two choirs whose stories embody the spirit of international friendship and the enduring power of song to connect us across cultures and seas. Legendary BBC series hailed as ‘guilty pleasure' streaming for free in UK

A cult TV series has been added to a streaming service in its entirety for the first time ever, giving audiences a rare opportunity to watch it the whole way through. Eldorado, the short-lived BBC One soap from EastEnders creators Tony Holland and Julia Smith, is available to watch on UKTV Play. The iconic soap, which ran for just 156 episodes, followed the lives of British and European expatriates who resided in the fictional town of Los Barcos in Spain. It hit screens first in 1992, with BBC bosses hopeful of replicating the success of Australian imports such as Neighbours or Home and Away. The show didn't exactly pan out as the station hoped, though it did undergo huge changes towards the end of its run, which received positive reviews from audiences and an uptick in ratings. Despite the improvements, however, Eldorado was ultimately cancelled in 1993. Viewers who missed the BBC serial first time around have had few opportunities in the subsequent decades to give it a go, with the soap having been re-run on TV a number of times.
