A MONSTER who raped his victim while her son was in another room will be freed from prison this weekend.

Connors is being freed after completing a 10-month sentence he received for failing to notify Gardai of his address when he left
Under the terms of his release, he has to notify Gardai of his whereabouts.
But as he prepares for his release this weekend we can also reveal that he's still classified as having 'no fixed abode'.
It's understood the Probation Services are working to find him a suitable place to live.

Hung jury in trial of Dublin firefighter accused of raping US woman in Boston on St Paddy's weekend as new date set
A US judge has declared a mistrial in a case involving Dublin firefighter Terence Crosbie, who is accused of rape. Mr Crosbie is accused of raping a 29-year-old attorney in a Boston hotel room over St Patrick's Day weekend in 2024. Mr Crosbie was arrested on March 16, 2024 and was on trial this week for the alleged offence. He has been held at the Nashua Street jail in Boston since his arrest. A young driver caught doing doughnuts before 'fishtailing' in front of Gardai and trying to outrun them by heading for the border to escape has been given a suspended jail sentence. Gardai had called to Drumbarnett, Manorcunningham after complaints from the public that the road had been blocked and a number of cars were doing doughnuts just before midnight. His client has now adopted a serious attitude to the incident and 'he should have acted more appropriately', he added. Mr Gallagher said that there was an impression given that Murray was 'aiming for the border', but told the court that it was not an evasive situation. He said Murray is doing a traineeship for cranes and has his preliminary tests done and planned to go to Scandinavia to finish that process. Judge Liddy said: 'It is clear that he learned very little from his experience in court on the previous occasion.' Judge Liddy said that only for Murray having been 'well advised' to plead guilty he would be imposing an immediate custodial sentence. Murray was handed a six-month prison sentence that was suspended for two years. Murray was also disqualified from driving for two years and fined €300.
