Kajol and Raveena Tandon have been among the top actresses in the 90s. While Kajol has often said that her daughter Nysa isn't interested in Bollywood, Raveena's daughter Rasha Thandani recently made her debut. Rasha quickly captivated the audience with her acting prowess, and fans wonder if Nysa is also a naturally gifted actor. However, in a recent chat with Filmygyan, Kajol reaffirmed that Nysa has no acting plans.
When asked if Nysa will take her legacy forward like Rasha is doing for Raveena, Kajol said, 'No, I don't think she will. She is not interested in movies. I love all the kids in my family and I would want them to do exactly what gives them happiness and whatever they feel they'll succeed in."
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Kajol was asked whether her children, Nysa and Yug, are more attached to her or Ajay Devgn. Reacting to this, the actress proudly stated that they both are her kids, and she is happy that 'they are very much their own people". Explaining this further, the actress recalled how once she asked her son Yug who he wished to look like, his father Ajay or his mother.
It was his answer that surprised Kajol. Kajol shared, 'He looked at me like I'm holding a gun on his head. And he looked at me very calmly and very diplomatically turned around and says, 'I look like Yug. I am Yug'. So I think that defines my children."
She added, 'I'm very, very happy to say that I've brought up two individuals who have their own personalities, who I hope have taught to think for themselves and I think that's been my biggest teaching as a parent."

Apart from Kajol, the film also features an ensemble cast including Ronit Roy, Indraneil Sengupta, Gopal Singh, Jitin Gulati, Kherin Sharma, Surjyasikha Das, Yaaneea Bharadwaj and Roopkatha Chakraborty. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Bengali languages on June 27, 2025.

During his appearance on the debut episode of 'The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show Season 3', he shared that he took inspiration from India's former President Dr APJ Abdul a conversation with host Kapil Sharma, Salman said, "Ye 'Tere Naam' ka jo look hai, woh actually inspired tha Abdul Kalam saab se. (My hairstyle in 'Tere Naam' was inspired by Abdul Kalam Sir)." He also pointed out that actor Rahul Roy had a similar hairstyle in the the 59-year-old shared that he imagined a small-town hero would have long hair, as many yesteryear actors did.
