Resolves public grievances promptly: U.P. CM
Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath held a Janata Darshan at the Gorakhnath temple in Gorakhpur on Tuesday. The CM heard the grievances and demands of some 250 visitors who had gathered to meet him as he emphasised the importance of redressing public grievances promptly and satisfactorily.
Yogi strictly instructed officials that negligence in addressing public problems would not be tolerated under any circumstances. Among the attendees was a differently-abled priest, Gopal Das, from Tada Raipur village in Kannauj district. Serving as the priest of a Hanuman temple, he appealed to the CM to help remove hurdles in the construction of the temple.
Yogi assured him that an investigation would be conducted and appropriate, fair action would be taken. Later, he participated in the foundation day celebrations of Manokamna Siddhi Shri Ram Janki and Lord Hanuman Temple near the Gorakhnath Temple.

'The work on the Agra Lucknow Expressway was half done. Today, I am happy to tell you that we have completed six projects. You are witnessing the journey of the Purvanchal Expressway. We have been continuously building it since 2021. In 2022, the Bundelkhand Expressway was started. It is 300 km long. The 340 km long Purvanchal Expressway has already been completed, and its connectivity to Patna is about to be completed. Now remember how easy the connectivity from Patna to Lucknow and Lucknow to Delhi will become', CM Yogi said. He stated that the 340 km-long Purvanchal Expressway is about to extend its connectivity to Patna. He called freedom fighter Veer Kunwar Singh and said that if the Purvanchal Expressway had been built in 1857, India would have become independent at that time. 'When Veer Kunwar Singh, the hero of the first war of independence in 1857, fought the British till Azamgarh to defeat them, there was no connectivity. If this Purvanchal Expressway had been there at that time, the people of Azamgarh would have beaten the British along with Veer Kunwar Singh, and then this country would have become independent in 1857 itself. Central Zonal Council meet: Shah to arrive in Kashi today
1 2 Varanasi: Union home minister Amit Shah will arrive here on Monday evening to chair the 25th Central Zonal Council, which will be attended by chief ministers of four BJP-ruled states, including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. All four chief ministers – Yogi Adityanath (Uttar Pradesh), Pushkar Singh Dhami (Uttarakhand), Mohan Yadav (Madhya Pradesh), and Vishnudev Sai (Chhattisgarh) – will welcome the home minister at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport on Monday evening.
