The Chase's Paul Sinha 'hands in notice' as contestants scoop £100k prize pot
Paul was defeated by the two quizzers who won a whopping £100k between them.

Brad said that the Chaser has "handed his notice in" after an "unbelievable" final round that saw the quizzers victorious. Players Ian, Jennie, Gregor and Karen all appeared on the quiz panel with the hopes of bagging some cash in the final chase.
First up to take on the chaser was Ian, a magician from London, who managed to secure £6,000 in the cash builder.
He managed to make it back to the team and landed himself a place in the final. Jennie then tried her luck but was unfortunately caught and was sent home.
Karen then felt brave and opted for the high offer of £93,000. Fans of the show took to social media to praise her for going for the biggest amount of money.
One said: "Good girl!," while a second added: "Karen didn't even stutter taking that high offer." The gamble paid off as she managed to also get into the final with Ian, which meant they had the chance to win £100,000 between them.
The two players managed to answer 16 questions correctly in the final chase before Paul tried to beat them. However, Paul wasn't able to beat them as he usually would, which meant they walked away with £50,000 each.
There was only one second left on the clock as Bradley said: "That was close." The Chaser then praise Ian and Karen as he added: "You absolutely deserve every penny of that."
Paul then said he was disappointed with himself as he joked: "I've cost ITV £100,000 but you don't need to care about any of that." It was then that Bradley quipped: "That's a funny way to hand in your notice."
Ian and Karen then spoke about how they planned to spend their winnings. Karen said she wanted to treat her son by taking him to the Abu Dhabi Formula One Grand Prix while Ian said he wanted to splash out on a brand new car.
Despite the hefty defeat, it was recently revealed that The Sinnerman is the most successful Chaser. Paul 'The Sinnerman' Sinha boasts a 78 percent win rate across his 436 appearances on The Chase.
The quiz guru's average target to beat is 19 and he holds the highest average Chaser win total, raking in £14,651, making him the most financially successful chaser on the show.
Meanwhile, Mark Labbett, better known as 'The Beast' has a 76 percent win rate over 475 episodes since his start in 2009.
Labbett, who was the show's inaugural Chaser, holds the record for the highest average target to beat, at 20, and the highest accuracy in the final chase, answering 83% of questions correctly.

Emmerdale's Mandy Dingle actress Lisa Riley told us what's ahead amid a mystery storyline for Bear on the ITV soap, hinting at huge and unexpected twists as the character vanishes Actress Lisa Riley has hinted at worrying and huge Emmerdale scenes ahead, concerning the new storyline with Bear. Lisa's character Mandy Dingle will be left concerned for her father-in-law Bear, with her and her husband Paddy Kirk, Bear's son, already confused by his recent behaviour. She teased unexpected scenes ahead with her reaction to the fact that fans currently have no idea what is wrong with Bear. She then made a noise and pulled a face that suggested the story could come as a shock to fans, while she gave nothing away. While she didn't want to go too much into detail, her reaction did hint that whatever happens will be big and possibly won't be guessed by viewers. As we asked her about how Mandy will react when Bear returns, Lisa said her concern would be more aimed at Paddy. Giving nothing away, she teased: "He disappears and then he comes back. But she's really conscious of Paddy so she's looking after Paddy's point of view... without giving too much away. She'll be looking after Paddy." Whether this means Paddy's hurt over his dad's abrupt exit and him being gone for so long, or the impact it has on Paddy, she did not say. But it's clear there are huge things ahead for the trio, and that Bear's plot is going to have a lasting impact. Speaking recently to The Mirror about the plot, actor Joshua teased what was ahead. He told us: "I'm not really sure the true nature of exactly what is going on, but there is a change there. I never saw sort of a more stripped-back Bear, emotionally through the ringer. "So I think there's something big coming up for him, which I'm really looking forward to." He went on: "He alters somewhat. He's not too good for some reason, which we don't know why. So he's been slightly erratic emotionally and with his moods. "There are mood swings coming up for him, periods of forgetfulness, and maybe the kind of things that happened with a man of his age." On how the storyline will impact Paddy, he teased: "Paddy will feel guilty, because this is his father's experience in this and it's right next to him, and he can't see it. "He can't put his finger on it even though he's experienced it himself. That's one part of the storyline that will be going on is that somewhere down the line, he'll have to realise that he missed it. That'll be an important part of Paddy's storyline as well."
