Jenna Bush Hager, Barbara Bush talk 'I Loved You First' and parenting
Sisters Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Piece Bush talk with USA TODAY's Ralphie Aversa about their new children's book "I Loved You First" and more.
When it comes to hairdressing, Jenna Bush Hager is a pure daredevil.
The "Today" show co-host, 43, threw caution to the wind and underwent a bold hair transformation on the NBC morning talk show's June 16 episode. Bush Hager was previously known for her shoulder-length blonde locks.
Taking the encouragement of "The White Lotus" star Leslie Bibb, who previously goaded Bush Hager to try out the blunt bob style made viral by her character Kate Bohr, the TV personality and daughter of former President George W. Bush got the short hairdo live on the air.
"You are such a badass, you're so cool," Bibb told Bush Hager as celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillan began the haircut. "I love this."

Even Bush Hager was taken aback by the drastic hair change at one point. "Whoa, that's so short," she said after McMillan trimmed one of her bottom layers.
Viewers will have to tune into the June 17 edition of the "Today" show to see Bush Hager unveil the full haircut. Regardless of the court of public opinion's verdict, Bush Hager will have to answer to the style approval of her children Margaret "Mila," Poppy and Henry "Hal."
"I will say, my daughter was like, 'Mom, don't do it,'" Bush Hager recalled. "'You're going to regret it.'"

In an interview with Today.com ahead of Bush Hager's haircut, McMillan said he wanted to make the TV host's bob "a little more modern and sexy" than the traditionally layered hairstyle.
"You can slick it behind your ears, like do the tuck," said McMillan of the look's versatility. "You can wear it natural; you can wear it wavy."

Steelers' Will Howard says learning from Aaron Rodgers is 'invaluable'
There seems to be one thing that everyone knows about Aaron Rodgers – that we know nothing at all. To many in the media, the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback is a thorn in their side. To fans, he's the guy that won't walk away from the game even when they think he should. To others, he's just a great quarterback that is one of the best to ever play. Advertisement Despite those differing views, teammates seem to love playing with Rodgers. The New York Jets gushed over the quarterback's presence on HBO's "Hard Knocks" and throughout his two seasons in the Big Apple. Quinnen Williams expressed frustration when the Jets released Rodgers, saying, "another rebuild year for me I guess," in a since deleted post on X. Williams' misfortune is to Will Howard's benefit, however. The rookie quarterback spoke glowingly about Rodgers' presence at Steelers mandatory minicamp in an interview with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Brian Batko. "He's been so awesome to me so far,' Howard said. "Obviously we've only gotten to be together for about three days, but I got a really good feeling about him and about this whole QB room. I think we already in this past week meshed really well, hit it off. I think we got a good vibe, good group." Howard added that Rodgers has been willing to help him in any way he can – something the 41-year-old had previously done for Jordan Love in Green Bay and Zach Wilson in New York. Advertisement "Aaron has been so willing to help me," Howard said. "He's like, 'Literally, as much or as little as you want me to help you, I'll be there.' He's already given me tips, little things here and there – in the meeting room, on the field, in my drops, different little things. Obviously I can't do the things that he can do mechanically, so I don't want to replicate that too much because that's pretty unique. But, for the most part, everything I can learn from that guy is invaluable. So I'm like, dude, as much as you want to pour into me." While Howard won't win the starting job in training camp, he's eager to soak up as much knowledge as possible from the four-time NFL MVP in what could be his final season. Rodgers kept the league in the dark for most of the offseason, seemingly on the edge between playing or retiring before ultimately signing with the Steelers prior to mandatory minicamp. The quarterback previously noted that he was dealing with some personal things throughout the offseason, leading to his absence from the public eye and an NFL roster. Advertisement It seems things have gotten off to a good start for those inside the building, even if some fans aren't as excited. Regardless, Howard is one that believes Rodgers is a pleasure to have in class. All the NFL news on and off the field. Sign up for USA TODAY's 4th and Monday newsletter. 'Vanderpump' Villain Tom Sandoval Announces His Surprising Next Reality Show
'Vanderpump' Villain Tom Sandoval Announces His Surprising Next Reality Show originally appeared on Parade. After his stints on Vanderpump Rules and Traitors, Tom Sandoval is about to be seen in a whole new spotlight. The reality TV star auditions for America's Got Talent with his band Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras on the upcoming episode of the NBC variety series airing Tuesday, June 24. Last week's episode showed a peek at Sandoval sitting backstage. The reality star also appeared in the tease at the end of the episode, saying, 'My name's Tom Sandoval. I was the most hated man in America. This is my chance to show who I am as a musician.' During his time on Vanderpump Rules, Sandoval had pursued a music career without sufficient success to make it a full-time gig. But this week, he will be front and center rocking the AGT stage in an attempt to get four yeses from judges Simon Cowell, Mel B, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara. 🎬 🎬 That said, Howie may have to recuse himself because he has a previous connection with Sandoval. According to NBC,on a 2023 episode of his podcast, Howie revealed how the two met at a mutual friend's wedding. "The first time we met ... Kimmie Bader, who works with me and has worked with me for years and years and years, she's a family friend, she's head of development for my production company. When she and her husband got married, the first time I met you was at their wedding," Mandel said to Sandoval. "Not only did I meet you, but you got on stage and performed." "That was a big day!" Sandoval laughed, adding he sang "Toto" by Africa at the nuptials. "I have met you kind of socially after on other business; we were trying to do business together," Mandel said. That business was a men's cosmetics line that hasn't yet come to fruition. Related: Sandoval's band consists of drummer and co-founder of the band Jason Bader, Colin Deas on saxophone, Stephen Stiphen on lead guitar, Mia Davitt on bass and vocals, Macrae Eckelberry on trumpet, Caspar Madaus plays rhythm guitar, Max Bergmanis on keyboard and Maddi Fraser on backup vocals. At this point in time, Sandoval is most famous for cheating on his longtime (and now ex) girlfriend Ariana Madix with their mutual friend Raquel Leviss. The 2023 affair blew up online and eventually became the famous "Scandoval" storyline on the most recent season of Vanderpump Rules. America's Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. Streams next day on Peacock.
