Leslie Bibb Reveals Why She and Sam Rockwell Haven't Married After 18 Years Together

On the June 16 episode of Today with Jenna & Friends, Leslie Bibb and Sam Rockwell opened up about their relationship to Jenna Bush Hager Bibb revealed why she does "not want to get married" to Rockwell after 18 years together The couple started dating in 2007, shortly after meeting at the Chateau Marmont in Los AngelesLeslie Bibb and Sam Rockwell won't be walking down the aisle any time soon. Even though the White Lotus season 3 costars have been in a relationship for 18 years, timing has nothing to do with why they aren't married. While co-hosting Today with Jenna & Friends on Monday, June 16, Bibb revealed the reason behind their decision not to tie the knot. 'Listen, I love Sam Rockwell,' Bibb, 51, told Jenna Bush Hager of the Oscar winner. 'I would put him in my pocket and carry him with me all the time. I love him. I do not want to get married.' "I feel like we are married!" she added. Rockwell, 56, brought up the topic of marriage early in their relationship, Bibb said, adding that she always shut down the idea. "It annoyed the crap out of me because he's like, 'Really, you don't want to get married?' " Bibb remembered. "I was like, 'Stop saying it. I already said I don't want to marry you. Stop asking me like I'm gonna pull like a sneak on you.' But he didn't want it either." 'Maybe it's probably something about the way we grew up, but I feel like if it ain't broke, don't fix it,' she continued. The couple also agrees that they don't want to have children together, Bibb said, noting that she never developed a desire to become a mother. "I just don't have that chip in me." The actors still keep the spark alive after nearly two decades together by putting their relationship first. "You have to constantly choose the relationship. We've been together for 18 years … it's a long time but I do think it gets better," Bibb shared. "Like the intimacy of a relationship is sexy to me. You can all have the hot sex in the beginning, but you gotta reinvent." Later on in the episode, Rockwell joined Bibb and Bush Hager on stage. He gave the women bouquets before sitting down and sharing his first impressions of Bibb, whom he met at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles in 2007. 'We had that kind of thunderbolt, like 'Dream Weaver' moment in Wayne's World when we saw each other,' Rockwell gushed. 'I found out that she studied in the same acting school that I did, so that was really handy.' He recognized Bibb from her character Carley Bobby in the 2006 comedy Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. Meanwhile, Bibb thought Rockwell was "really cute" but tried to play it cool by pretending she had no idea who he was. Their eventual first day date went so well that it extended later into the evening, which caused Rockwell to cancel his nighttime date that he had scheduled with someone else. "It's good, you were single, you were ready to mingle,' Bibb told Rockwell. 'And then I just put my little claws in you, I put my talons in and I said, 'No, you're mine.' " 'And they're still in,' Rockwell added. Back in September 2022, Rockwell told The Standard his reasoning for why he and Bibb have never wed. "[We're] basically married. She's in my will. I feel like we are married. We live like a married couple," he said, adding that they don't want kids because they "just like it the way it is." Read the original article on People

Jenna Bush Hager Finally Debuts 'Strange' New Bob Haircut On ‘Today': 'I Feel A Little Embarrassed'

Today viewers finally got to see Jenna Bush Hager's exciting new look after the daytime host underwent a dramatic transformation live on the show, all thanks to Leslie Bibb's hairstylist. Like many other White Lotus fans, Bush Hager was inspired by Bibb's signature bob, cut and styled by celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillan. So, they had McMillan stop by the show Monday to cut Bush Hager's hair during the live broadcast. Bush Hager debuted the new look during Tuesday's (June 17) broadcast, during which she admitted she's 'feeling a little strange.' 'You know that '90s movie Single White Female where you try to copy somebody to such an extent. You made this hairstyle so famous and then I used your hairstylist to get the same haircut and I'm feeling a little strange,' she told Bibb. Much like she did during the haircut, Bibb gave Bush Hager an empowering pep talk. 'No, you don't look strange. You look sexy, and powerful, and glamorous. And I kept saying it yesterday, you're a badass! You look so great!' the actress told Bush Hager. 'It's a big deal to do that.' Bush Hager went on to admit that she's feeling 'a little embarrassed' by all of the attention she's gotten for the haircut. She even shared that there were a lot of 'fake tears' and criticisms from her children when they saw her new haircut. 'Are those real tears? Your children are monsters! They're monsters,' Bibb jokingly responded. She later asked Bush Hager if she felt 'lighter' after getting the haircut. 'I felt lighter. There's a lot of change happening and I feel a little embarrassed by the attention. And I know the people who work for me are like, 'Mother loves attention,' but I felt a little embarrassed,' the Today host admitted. Just before getting her haircut on Monday's show, Bush Hager joked that the new look will help her shed all of the changes that happened this year – including, for example, Hoda Kotb's shocking retirement and exit from Today. 'I've been through change, I'm gonna wash the Hoda right out of my hair!' she joked, before quickly adding, 'I love her and she's still my friend, but maybe it's time for a whole new look.' Today with Jenna & Friends airs on weekdays at 10/9c on NBC.

‘Today's Jenna Bush Hager Gives Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey Permission To 'Kiss Me On The Lips Whenever They Want' After Their Red Carpet 'Smooch'

Jenna Bush Hager made a spicy statement on Today With Jenna & Friends after seeing her former guest host Scarlett Johansson share a 'smooch' with Jonathan Bailey on the Jurassic World Rebirth red carpet. Bush Hager and comedian Michelle Buteau, who was guest hosting the show Wednesday (June 18) morning, watched the footage of the actors' kiss in slow motion. 'Those are two very good looking people right in there,' Bush Hager commented. But Buteau was a bit confused by the spectacle. 'I have friends… We don't do that. Maybe that's like some famous people stuff?' she told Bush Hager, who laughed in response. 'It's a little nasty, it's a little sexy, it's a little wild. Is that what famous people do?' Bush Hager couldn't answer Buteau's question, but she did make an offer to Johansson and Bailey ahead of their upcoming appearance on Today With Jenna & Friends. 'I feel like Jonathan Bailey or Scarlett Johansson can kiss me on the lips whenever they want,' Bush Hager stated. Even Buteau appeared shocked! 'Okay, we'll make that happen,' she said. Bush Hager appeared as if she wanted to take back that statement as she said, 'They're gonna be here next week. I'm now a little…' Buteau joked that the Today host was feeling bolder after getting her hair cut live on television earlier this week. 'One bob cut and we can't keep her contained!' Buteau joked. 'I would love to see that.' It's no secret that Bush Hager is a fan of Johansson. Johansson was one of the first guest hosts to join Bush Hager on Today With Jenna & Friends after Hoda Kotb's exit. The actress seemed to enjoy her short stint in daytime television and even told Bush Hager this was her 'favorite job' she's 'ever had.' 'I have to say this really fills my cup. I absolutely have to come back if you'll have me,' she told Bush Hager at the time. Now, it looks like Johansson will finally be back on Today to promote her upcoming blockbuster film. Here's to hoping she will be able to guest host Today With Jenna & Friends again! Today with Jenna & Friends airs on weekdays at 10/9c on NBC.

Jenna Bush Hager Got A Dramatic Haircut Live On TV, And You've Got To See This Photo Of How It Turned Out

Jenna Bush Hager made the cut — and viewers were not ready. Joined by The White Lotus star Leslie Bibb, the host of Today — as well many viewers of the HBO Max program — found themselves so taken by Bibb's now-viral blunt bob that she decided to take the plunge herself. The live Monday morning broadcast quickly turned into an impromptu hair appointment, with celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillan on hand to make the transformation official. 'When I was here back in March, Jenna vowed to get on board with the bob, and today is the day!' Bibb exclaimed with sheer enthusiasm. As the trio chatted, they reflected on how Bibb's hairstyle had unexpectedly gone 'completely viral' — a reaction McMillan admitted he 'didn't expect.' 'It was a grow-out of a short haircut,' he said. 'It wasn't like, the intention wasn't to give her a bob, it was to grow it out into a bob.' Related: From Florence Pugh To Zoë Kravitz, Here's All The Celebrities Who Rocked Sheer Or Naked Dresses Afterwards, he revealed that he was giving the host a 'modern version' of the hairstyle — which, in his opinion, is a 'little blunter.' Before the scissors could snip, Bush Hager pointed to the audience outside of the studio and said, 'Oh my gosh, they're telling me not to do it!' Related: Here Are 10 Celebs Who've Publicly Admitted The Reasons Why They Regret Ending Their Marriages Bibb assured her that hair indeed does grow back, and that the host was getting rid of any unnecessary 'baggage' with her big chop. 'Bobs are like spring cleaning,' McMillan added. 'There are sometimes some bad damage, bad layers, and it sort of evens it up and creates a nice, strong perimeter.' With that, McMillan got to work, carefully finding the right length before committing to the first chop. 'Do I have enough hair to donate?' Bush Hager asked. 'No,' Bibb jokingly responded. Bush Hager shared that not everyone was thrilled with the prospect of her on-air makeover. 'I will say my daughter was like, 'Mom, don't do it! You're gonna regret it!'' she said. The video Bush Hager showed on Tuesday of her kids reacting to the cut makes it look like her daughter still wasn't convinced. This article originally appeared on HuffPost. NBC Plans ‘Today' Fan Festival With Events Scheduled for Fall

Every weekday at about 8:30 a.m., the various anchors at NBC's 'Today' step outside the show's Manhattan news studio to meet briefly with fans. In just a few months, they will get to have a longer visit. NBC News is planning a series of live 'Today' events, a sort of fan festival built around the program that will highlight many of its franchises, including Jenna Bush Hager's book recommendations, Willie Geist's in-depth celebrity interviews, and Hoda Kotb's wellness discussions. 'Today' has in recent months put a bigger spotlight on its food and recipe discussions and launched an app that spurs subscribers to think about fitness. The new concept would surface between October and early November, says Libby Leist, the NBC News executive vice president who oversees the morning franchise, and could include a series of ticketed events that would take place in New York City and a few other locations in the U.S. More from Variety Trump Military Parade May Not Get Much Coverage on CBS, NBC, ABC Welcome, Tom Llamas, to TV's Never-Ending Evening-News Battle Lester Holt Ends 10-Year Run as 'NBC Nightly News' Anchor With Hopeful Sign-Off: 'Facts Matter, Words Matter, Journalism Matters and You Matter' In an era dominated by social media, says Leist, 'experiences are kind of a differentiator,' and can bring people together. 'There is so much fragmentation out there, and our thought is we have this trusted brand in 'Today,' and an ability to energize our fandom in real life.' NBC has sought ways to make the events affordable for different audiences, she adds. 'Today' is the latest NBCUniversal property to test experiential waters. The Bravo cable network has for several years organized a 'BravoCon' fan event, and MSNBC last year held a one-day conference that gave attendees a sneak peek at a coming documentary as well as several panels managed by or featuring the network's anchors and hosts. :'Today' has already dispatched Bush Hager to book events and had Geist interview interesting people like Ina Garten and Nate Bargatze at special events in front of live audiences. The concepts typically generate revenue from tickets, but also through advertising partnerships that weave specific brands and promotional messages throughout the occasion. Like many other traditional media companies, NBCU is relying more heavily on programming that aims to gather large, live audiences. The NBC broadcast network will, next year, turn over two nights of its programming schedule to NBA telecasts as part of a new rights deal with the basketball league. NBCU will also telecast a new Winter Olympics in early 2026. NBC executives felt this year, which doesn't have an Olympics or an election race, would have more room to focus on creating a 'Today' fan festival, says Leist. The aim, she adds, is to keep things going beyond a first year. 'The more we do it, the more we hope to generate interest.' Savannah Guthrie and Craig Melvin, the two 'Today' news anchors, are likely to talk about the festival on air, says Leist, and may take part in a larger event tied to food. Other news outlets have experimented with meet-the-viewer ideas. CNN mounted a series of live 'Citizen' events in recent years that convened newsmakers and CNN anchors to discuss major issues of the day. Among those who took part were Jimmy Kimmel, Dr. Anthony Fauci and NBA Commissioner Adam Silver. Fox News Channel has organized its 'Patriot Awards' for the past few years; the event has even included a meet-and-greet and a whiskey tasting. But the concept has not been tested in such force by a broadcast morning program, Leist believes, and the hope is the concept brings 'Today' closer to its viewers in an era when A.M. news remains critical to the economics of the broadcast-network news divisions. ABC's 'Good Morning America' continues to win more viewers overall, but NBC's 'Today' leads in the critical category of people between 25 and 54 — the audience favored most by advertisers in news programs.
