'Thunderstruck' is a hit for the ages — the type of smash most musical acts can only dream of. It wasn't just a massive success when it first arrived, but it has also stood the test of time. 35 years into its lifetime, the electrifying cut continues to keep AC/DC on charts around the world.
This week, the song ranks as a powerful bestseller on several Billboard tallies. 'Thunderstruck' currently appears on three U.S.-based rankings, and amazingly, even after three and a half decades of success, the tune secures a top 10 position on all of them.
The single performs best on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart, where it nearly rules once again, shooting from No. 5 to No. 2. It also becomes a top 10 bestseller once more on the Rock Digital Song Sales tally, returning to the uppermost tier as it thunders from No. 15 to No. 9.
The single typically performs best in terms of pure purchases, but Americans also love streaming 'Thunderstruck' on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. This time around, the tune climbs five spaces to No. 4 on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs ranking.
'Thunderstruck' has already ruled both the Hard Rock Streaming Songs and Hard Rock Digital Song Sales charts. It has so far peaked in the runner-up space on the Rock Digital Song Sales tally and has spent hundreds of frames on each list. This week, the cut reaches a major milestone, hitting 520 frames on the Rock Digital Song Sales chart — a full decade's worth of charting.
AC/DC also manages one worldwide smash at the moment, and again, it's 'Thunderstruck.' This week, the track bolts nearly 30 spaces north on the Billboard Global 200, landing at No. 155 in its ninety-fifth turn on the list.

Kendrick Lamar Extends Grand National Tour With Australian Headline Dates
Kendrick Lamar will be making his grand return to Australia this year, with the rapper announcing new dates for his ongoing Grand National Tour. Lamar announced on Wednesday (June 11) that he will be performing two headline dates while in Australia this December, with stadium shows set for Melbourne's AAMI Park on Dec. 3 and Sydney's Allianz Stadium on Dec. 10. The forthcoming shows will be Lamar's first visit to Australia since The Big Steppers Tour in 2022, though unlike his current run of North American dates, they will feature Lamar in solo mode as opposed to his co-headlining status with SZA. SZA Shares Behind-the-Scenes Footage of a New ‘Guest Star' Collaboration With Lizzo
SZA might be extraordinarily busy as she prepares to head overseas with her and Kendrick Lamar's Grand National Tour — but that didn't stop her from swooping in for a quick recording session with her friend Lizzo. In a series of posts to her Instagram Stories early Friday (June 20), SZA teased fans with a forthcoming collaboration between her and the 'Juice' singer. What started as a glimpse of Lizzo's own new music in the video, the 'Luther' singer started sharing clips of her voice playing alongside Lizzo's in the background. 'Working on a guest star for bookie @lizzobeeating's new mixtape,' SZA wrote in one caption, while calling their link-up a 'lil after-dinner session' in another. While it's unclear whether Love in Real Life is the 'mixtape' SZA referred to in her post, the album has yet to receive an official release date. Earlier this week, SZA opened up to Chappell Roan about her friendship with Lizzo during a conversation for Interview Magazine. Speaking about the first time she and the 'About Damn Time' singer met, SZA praised the 'organic and very random' connection they immediately shared. 'One day, we were on the same tour, and I was like, 'We're about to drive out to Lake Michigan, do you want to come?' And she was like, 'Yeah, let's go,'' SZA recalled. 'And then we just got drunk and hung out, and we kept doing that, and then our lives and careers progressed, and we kept talking and hanging out.' In May, Lizzo even crashed the stage during SZA and Lamar's tour stop in Los Angeles to perform the track with her on stage. The news comes after SZA and her co-headliner Lamar wrap the first leg of their 2025 Grand National Tour. Starting in July, the pair will begin performances across Europe — including shows in Paris, London, Barcelona and Rome — and close out their headline-making run with a set of shows in Australia this December.
