The officer is certain that he has finally cracked the case and caught the wanted man at large.
Many viewers of the growing commercial network took to social media as they claimed they were struggling to watch the 'scary drama'.
Writing on X - formerly known as Twitter - one fan stated: "Just watched Ep 2 and it really gets into your head !! Episode 3 behind the sofa!"
A second claimed: "TheGame finding it a bit scary tbh, in fact, watched a fair bit through my fingers tonight."
"Jason Watkins and Robson Green - a thrilling thriller - but I'm now too scared to go to bed!," wrote a third.
However, the frightening aspect of the show isn't even the worst complaint for TV viewers.

Robson, 60, is known for his high-profile detective roles in Wire in the Blood and Grantchester.
Many fans of the star could not believe that he was cast as the main antagonist in the new series.
Another user commented: "Really enjoying this series #TheGame but I don't like #RobsonGreene being the bad guy. He's so lovely. Brilliant acting by both him and #JasonWatkins."
"Is it just me, or wouldn't the casting have made more sense with Robson as the detective and Jason Watkins as the stalker? Tony Hill can't be the bad guy!," posted someone else.

However it's far from plain sailing, as a young and attractive live-in nanny comes to work with the Fallmont family, and tensions soon build and eventually, someone ends up dead. The Drowning - Jill Halfpenny plays Jodie, a woman whose life is shattered following the disappearance of her beloved four-year-old son, Daniel. However, ten years later, the grieving mother thinks she's finally found her missing child, and embarks on a journey to discover the truth about him. But has she really just found the son she has been missing for so long?

He was joined by his sister Anne, and the pair spent the final few hour's of the monarch's life taking turns to sit beside her, it's revealed in a new documentary. ‌ Channel 5's Birkhall: The King's Secret Sanctuary, sees experts discuss the moment Charles became the new King as they delve into the fact that he was 'summoned to Balmoral" from his own home on the Aberdeenshire estate, Birkhall, which is described as one of his favourite residences. Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond said in the documentary: 'He was told that it would probably be a few hours before she passed away." Royal expert and journalist Emily Andrews added: "Charles and Anne had been taking it in turns to sit with the Queen and then, I think, as she slipped into a coma, Charles needed a bit of fresh air and some nature. "So he went to the grounds of Birkhall, and it was there that he took the call." ‌ Viewers will discover that ahead of Charles being given the official news of the Queen's death, he already knew thanks to two words that were said to him upon answering the call. Jennie said: "He knew what had happened. "Because he was addressed by the person who rang him, the courtier, as 'Your Majesty' and then he knew, 'Well, my mother has died' and obviously he raced back to Balmoral to be at her side." ‌ It's also claimed in the documentary that members of the family felt relief after their huge loss because the Queen had been able to spend her last days at her beloved Balmoral, where she'd spent some of her happiest times. Emily Andrews added: "I think everybody in the Royal Family, actually, was really glad it happened in Scotland and for Charles as well to be at Birkhall, where it's such a kind of safe space for him, he feels very calm and relaxed, I think was very important'. ‌ After the news circulated within the wider family, Prince William, Edward and Andrew soon travelled to Balmoral, followed a short time later by Prince Harry. King Charles' sweet frozen-in-time tribute to loved one who died decades ago

When one of King Charles's loved ones passed away over two decades ago, he was left totally bereft, experts have revealed in a new documentary - and he was so heartbroken he has kept several tributes to them in one of his royal homes King Charles has a seriously sentimental side - and this heartbreaking tribute to a lost loved one proves just how deep it runs. More than 20 years ago, Charles lost someone who had been incredibly important to him, and experts have revealed that to this day, he has kept a few key aspects of their belongings in his home in exactly the same place - as if they might walk back in the door any moment now. ‌ The revelation came in the new Channel 5 documentary, Birkhall: The King's Secret Sanctuary, which details the monarch's relationship with one of his absolutely favourite residences. ‌ Birkhall is positioned very near the Royal Family's famous Balmoral estate, where they gather every summer and spend weeks engaged in countryside pursuits like fishing and picnics, in the privacy afforded to them by the Scottish countryside. The nearby Birkhall is a much more modest home compared to the grandeur of Balmoral, and since his childhood, it is said by the experts to have been one of Charles's favourite places to spend time - in part because of who it previously belonged to, his beloved grandmother, the Queen Mother. "For Charles, she was this haven of security and affection, and laughter and love," explained former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond. The expert continued that during Charles's unhappy school years in the north of Scotland, his grandmother's home of Birkhall, and the warm relationship they shared, offered the young prince some welcome respite. "When he was at Gordonstoun school in the north of Scotland, he would, whenever he could, take the two-hour journey to Birkhall to be with his beloved granny." When the Queen Mother died in 2002 at her home of Royal Lodge, Windsor - at the ripe old age of 101 - the Scottish retreat of Birkhall went to Charles, who was left utterly bereft at the loss. ‌ "For Charles, the loss of his grandmother was absolutely devastating," explained Jennie, but after taking over the property, he started undertaking essential refurbishments, updating the heating systems, and redecorating much of the place with the help of his now-wife Camilla. However, Charles made sure that the Queen Mother's presence is still felt in the house, "Her coats are still hanging up, on the is really sweet," revealed expert Afua Hagan. This heartbreaking nod to his grandmother in his favourite home is not the only way he has paid tribute to the Queen Mother, the expert also revealed that he has kept the barometer she used to use to check the weather hanging up. ‌ The Queen Mother was also a huge fan of clocks, the experts revealed, and used to have eight in the dining room alone - all set to "slightly different times" so they would chime out of sync with one another. The Queen Mother's guests were said to have been sent round the bend by this - but this reaction was something the quirky royal "thoroughly enjoyed". ‌ Charles has kept her clocks hanging up, it is revealed in the documentary, "He kept all eight of those grandfather clocks in the dining room," Afua explained, "but he set them all to the same time, so it didn't drive everybody as bonkers as it had done before." A royal author has previously claimed that the Queen Mother was actually "more of a mother" to her grandson than the late Queen Elizabeth herself - putting this down to the former monarch's gruelling schedule as head of state. "In some ways, the Queen Mother was a mother figure to Charles just because the Queen became Queen when Charles was so young. There were a lot of tours of the Commonwealth and every time the Queen had to go away, Prince Charles stayed with the Queen Mother," Gareth Russell, who has written a biography of the Queen Mother explained to People magazine. Other members of the Royal Family made their way to Scotland to say their final personal goodbye to the Queen, including Prince William and Prince Harry - with the latter travelling up separately. ‌ Devastatingly, Harry has revealed that he got the news his beloved grandmother had died through a breaking news notification - along with the rest of the country - after his plane was delayed getting to Scotland. The Queen's coffin was then brought to Edinburgh, where it laid in rest, giving the public the opportunity to say goodbye. The coffin was then flown to RAF Northolt before being brought back to London where the lying in state in Westminster Hall took place before her funeral - with Princess Anne accompanying her mother every step of the way.
