Ilkay Gundogan scored twice as Manchester City thrashed Al Ain 6-0 to secure their place in the last 16.
The Premier League side were far too strong for their Abu Dhabi-based opponents under a closed roof at Atlanta's spectacular Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The result seemed certain from the moment Gundogan, who has been linked with a move to Galatasaray, opened the scoring – perhaps fortuitously – by lobbing the keeper after eight minutes.
Teenager Claudio Echeverri marked his first City start by adding the second from a free-kick and Erling Haaland made it 3-0 from the penalty spot.
Gundogan finished off a neat move after 73 minutes before substitutes Oscar Bobb and Rayan Cherki struck late on to ensure City and Juventus will progress from Group G.
Juventus had earlier beaten Wydad Casablanca 4-1 in Philadelphia to also book their place in the knockout stage.

Real Madrid overcame an early red card for defender Raul Asencio to beat Mexican side Pachuca 3-1 in Charlotte and close in on the last 16 of the Club World Cup.
Xabi Alonso's side had been held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Saudi Arabian outfit Al Hilal in their opening Group H game and were without Mbappe, who is recovering after being discharged from hospital following acute gastroenteritis.
Real Madrid saw defender Asencio sent off after just seven minutes for hauling down Salomon Rondon.
The LaLiga giants, though, held out against a spell of pressure from the Mexicans to break the deadlock through Jude Bellingham in the 35th minute before Arda Guler doubled the lead ahead of half-time.
Federico Valverde volleyed in a third with 20 minutes left, before the Mexicans grabbed a late consolation through Elias Montiel's deflected effort.
However, Alonso confirmed in his post-match press duties that Antonio Rudiger had been on the end of alleged racist abuse.
'That's what Rudiger said, and we believe him,' Alonso said. 'It is important to have zero tolerance in these kinds of situations. FIFA now is investigating. That's all I can say.'
Marcus Rashford has revealed he would like to play alongside teenage prodigy Lamine Yamal at Barcelona.

"It's really hot, I know it's the same for everyone but I'm only saying because you asked me. The pitches aren't great at all. ‌ "It holds up, the ball barely bounces and it's tough on the knees as well. Hopefully it's something that someone will look at, going into the World Cup next year. It's important that we protect the players as well as giving the fans a spectacle." Bellingham has also confirmed he is set to undergo shoulder surgery after the tournament, having been managing an injury since 2023. "I've reached the point where the pain isn't so bad, but I was sick of playing with the sling," he explained. "I'm losing a lot of weight from sweating so much, and I've decided that I'll have surgery after the tournament. I've been waiting for a long time, and my patience is running out, but the physios and doctors have been incredible. I just want to feel free." Bellingham scored the opening goal against Pachuca, with Arda Guler and Federico Valverde also finding the back of the net for Xabi Alonso's side after Raul Asencio was shown a straight red card just seven minutes into the game. "I'm not going to say that the three goals came because we worked on the midfielders' runs, but we did talk about it during the water break," Alonso said post-match. "They have the quality and their finishing was fantastic. "It gave us an advantage in a difficult situation, as we were down to ten men from the seventh minute. The team showed discipline and sacrifice, knowing how to control the game without the ball. We knew that if we recovered it, we could get out and that's how the goals came. ‌ "Going 3-0 up was important so that we didn't have to push too hard if we conceded, as happened afterwards. It's a victory that strengthens us a lot in terms of our football and our morale to compete in this tournament. "We had to defend with a player fewer in a low block and you have to know how to suffer and have the humility to find the right moment. The defensive line held the area well and we had good periods of possession. "We took a lot of positives from the game, especially the three points. We weren't able to show what we've been working on. We had to adapt to the game by staying balanced and maintaining possession so that the players felt comfortable."

Crystal Palace's Europa League prospects improve after John Textor sells stake

Textor's shares in Palace threatened to be an obstacle to their participation in the Europa League next season because the American is also a shareholder in French side Lyon, who are set to enter the same competition. Under UEFA multi-club ownership rules, it looked as though Palace would miss out. However, the PA news agency understands from sources close to Palace that Textor's 45 per cent stake in the London club has now been sold to New York Jets owner Woody Johnson. Reports have placed the price between £160m and £190m. The sale is subject to Premier League approval, but may now free Palace up to play in the Europa League. The Eagles qualified thanks to their FA Cup final victory over Manchester City last month. Textor, who through his Eagle Football Holdings group also owns a significant stake in Brazilian side Botafogo, initially invested in Palace in 2021. Palace declined to comment. Eagle Football Holdings and UEFA have both been approached for comment. PA understands a decision regarding Palace's participation is expected from UEFA before the end of June.

Wrexham are said to be keen on signing a Liverpool youngster on loan, with the Premier League champions closing in on a transfer deal which could smooth the way Wrexham could get the green light to sign a promising Liverpool youngster on loan as the Premier League title winners edge closer to a £40million deal. The Red Dragons, who recently secured promotion to the Championship, are reportedly keen on snapping up Liverpool left-back Owen Beck. The 22-year-old defender, who was born in Wrexham, impressed on loan at Blackburn Rovers in the second tier this season. Beck, who is the great nephew of former Liverpool and Wrexham striker Ian Rush, established himself as Rovers' first-choice left-back until an unfortunate injury curtailed his progress. ‌ The Wales under-21 international made 26 appearances for Blackburn in their quest for a play-off position, but a hamstring issue limited him to just one game after early February.
